Betsy's Son Brainstorm & Notes

Betsy’s Son
Premise: What if Kwannon hadn’t been the first person whom Elizabeth Braddock swapped bodies with? What if her son with that first body swap still lived and she didn’t even know that fact until war reignited in Britain?
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must be the son of Psylocke (Elizabeth Braddock), who had been inhabiting Lily’s body at the time he was conceived allowing him to inherit her mutation.
- Elizabeth cannot know that Harry survived the attack on the Potter family by Voldemort.
- Harry can’t have more than 3 primary mutations, though he can have multiple abilities within those three primary mutations, so long as they can all be explained by the primary mutations.
- Harry’s powers are not allowed to manifest earlier than his third year, and therefore Betsy is not allowed to learn of his existence earlier than his third year.
- When she learns of his existence, Betsy must move heaven and earth to become a part of Harry’s life, even if not a mother, as she probably realizes he doesn’t need one anymore.
- The Wizarding World either not know or care about the existence of mutants, or considering them to be a ‘muggle problem’ and therefore not being bothered by the fact that Harry is one.
- Harry must be the only mutant at Hogwarts, or else, magic itself is considered a mutation.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry having a similar, if not identical, mutation to Betsy’s.
- Harry being romantically paired with one or more mutants from the X-Men.
- Harry being romantically paired with Fleur and/or Tonks.

- Harry being romantically paired with Betsy.

Complications
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort would give just about anything in order to be allowed to kill Harry with his own wand, but only if he is able to do so in front of his followers.
- Honor: Harry follows a strict code of honor when it comes to fights, and even when not fighting. He obeys the rules of fair play and hospitality, and may even pick up other odd and restrictive rules to add to his code of honor as he gets older.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry will often go out of his way in order to save the life of some hapless damsel in distress. This also often leads him and those who he calls his friends, into rather harrowing situations.
- Relationship: Harry is the son of James Potter and Betsy Braddock, the former of whom had been inhabiting the body of Lily Potter at the time of his conception allowing him to inherit both of their mutations. Although Lily died while they were defending Harry's life, Betsy still lives and only just became aware of the fact that Harry survived the night in which she had been banished from Lily's body.
- Temper: Harry is a tempestuous man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Wand Versatility: Harry's third mutation allows him to pick up virtually any wand and use it as easily as if it were a wand to which he were properly suited. However, unless the wand is in fact one which he is properly suited, then he will be Impaired on the effect rank of any spells he casts with that wand. Wands to which he is properly suited include, but may not be limited to, his original Holly Wand, and the Elder Wand.

My Demon Brainstorm & Notes

My Demon
Premise: “Mayday! Mayday! / This ship is slowly sinking / They think I'm crazy but they don't know the feeling / They're all around me / Circling like vultures / They wanna break me and wash away my colors / Wash away my colors / Take me high and I'll sing / Oh you make everything okay, okay, okay… My Demon…”
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must be a White Martian who was sent to Earth for the purpose of allowing him to grow up without facing the discrimination he would have if growing up on Mars.
- Harry’s parents must have left a message within his mind that informs of his race, identity and powers that will trigger when he reaches a predetermined age.
- Aside from the typical Martian powers, Harry must also possess an affinity towards magic.
- Harry must encounter and befriend Rachel Roth before his 11th birthday. She must be around his age at the time he meets her.
- Before his 17th birthday, both Harry and Raven must be acting as superheroes. For the purposes of this story, Martians will age at the normal human rate until they turn 20.
- Harry and Raven must be approached by two members of the Justice League in an attempt to convince them to join the Young Justice Team, which they will join at the same time as Artemis.
- The only people who are allowed to know Harry is a Martian to begin with are as follows: Raven, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Superman, Miss Martian & Superboy.
- Meanwhile, the only ones who are allowed to know Harry is a White Martian to begin with are as follows: Raven, Martian Manhunter, Miss Martian, and Batman.
- Harry and Raven must be far more ruthless when dealing with villains than most heroes would normally want to be due to their respective upbringings.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry using the Martian ability of Mayavana upon Raven, which bonds them together and in essence identifies her as his primary mate, even if there are eventually others involved.
- Harry running away from the Dursley family after meeting Raven for the first time.
- Harry and Raven initially refusing to attend Hogwarts due to the hostile emotions they can sense coming off of Dumbledore or Snape, one of whom is the person to deliver the letter.
- Bashing of members of Wizarding Britain, particularly in regards to Ginny, Ron, Molly, Snape, Dumbledore, Voldemort, Umbridge & Fudge.
Optional Inclusions:
- It was an instinctive use of the Martian ability of Density Shifting which allowed Harry to survive the Killing Curse.
- Harry or Raven ultimately leaving Dumbledore, Snape and/or Voldemort in a permanent coma.
- Harry or Raven leaving a member of the Light in a permanent coma.

Complications
- Dark Side: If not kept in check, Raven's demonic side can take over, leading to catastrophic consequences for her allies. This is similar to the Temper complication.
- Emotionless Girl: Raven tries to keep control of her emotions at all times, rarely showing emotion unless during extreme situations or when in private with Harry. This tends to make her come across as cold and aloof.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Raven wants to be accepted for who she is, rather than who her father would have her become.
- Power Flux: Raven's powers are entirely tied to her emotions, becoming more powerful and more unstable with the intensity of the emotions fueling them.
- Relationship: Raven has a psychic rapport with Harry Potter, and he even blessed her by using his Mayavana to give her a section of her mind that her father could not access. She is entirely loyal to him above all else.
- Rivalry: Trigon has children scattered across many dimensions and most of them are often in conflict with one another.
- With Family Like This: Raven's father is Trigon, the demonic ruler of several dimensions. He wants her to follow in his footsteps, which is unfortunate as Raven desires to walk a different path. Despite their differing viewpoints, they do still seem to love each other in a bizarre manner that only Harry truly seems to understand.

Complications
- Glass Cannon: Zee's offensive power is so great, that she had to give up almost all of her defensive capabilities just to get it that high.
- Motivation: Family First: Zee will always prioritize the needs of her family (i.e. her father) over the needs of any missions she has been assigned, and as such this can often cause problems to arise between her and those she would consider her allies.

Complications
- Accident: Dora is known to be rather clumsy and accident prone.
- Honor: Dora follows a strict code of honor when it comes to fights, and even when not fighting. She obeys the rules of fair play and hospitality, and may even pick up other odd and restrictive rules to add to her code of honor as she gets older.
- Motivation: Patriotism: The entire reason Dora became an Auror was because she wanted to use her abilities in service to the Crown. This unfortunately doesn't quite work out, due to the fact that the individuals responsible for giving the orders to the Auror force, tend not to be loyal to the Crown.
- Relationship: Dora is Harry's Second Cousin, Once Removed via Blood Adoption. She was also one of the first people within Wizarding Britain to have learned that he had flown Dumbledore's coup, alongside of her mother and father.
- Responsibility: Dora is an Auror, and as such she is duty bound to help maintain law and order within Wizarding Britain. It also means that she is duty bound to obey her superiors within the Ministry for Magic, even if some of those superiors are complete idiots.
- Temper: Do not under any circumstances refer to this girl by her full given name if you wish to avoid being hit with the most painful and/or humiliating hex that Dora can think of at that particular moment in time. Monster Brainstorm & Notes

Monster
Premise: “The secret side of me, I never let you see / I keep it caged but I can't control it / So stay away from me, the beast is ugly / I feel the rage and I just can't hold it”
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must have and utilize one of the Berserker Staves that first appeared in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 8. He gains all the perks and none of the drawbacks.
- In addition to the typical Asgardian abilities, the Staff allows Harry to both perform Wandless Magic and use it as a Magical Focus for the more complicated spell effects.
- The story must take place before the first Avengers Movie, and prior to that movie Harry can only interact with those Marvel characters who don’t appear in the Core Avengers Line Up.
- Harry’s primary antagonist must be Mordred Pendragon, who has gained access to the Darkhold. The book acting to directly feed dark magic into Mordred’s veins.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should be treated how one would normally treat any of the other Avengers. In other words, he has his own personal villains, and isn’t always around to help S.H.I.E.L.D.
- Harry is the Master of Death, with all that this entails, making Thanos another of Harry’s major antagonists, as Thanos would be incredibly jealous.
- Hela being the Death Goddess who was assigned to Harry by Mistress Death as her representative and his ‘mate’, much to Hela’s initial annoyance.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry being allied with the Master’s of the Mystic Arts, and even assisting them in their efforts to protect the world from extradimensional threats of the mystical variety.
- Harry also winding up being romantically paired with the likes of Satanna & Madelyne Pryor…

Required Inclusions:
- Jean Grey had been adopted and was in fact another of Harry Potter’s maternal aunts, having been the biological sister of Petunia and Lily Evans. She was 10 years younger than Lily.
- This fic occurring during the events of New X-Men Volume 1 (or in other words, X-Men Volume 2, Issues 114-156), and not long after the conclusion of Deathly Hallows.
- In addition to being related to Jean Grey, Emma Frost must have been in an intimate relationship with Harry’s parents around the time of his birth, even going so far as to Blood Adopt him, making him the son she had thought she lost when his parents died.
- Harry must decide to attend the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning to both get caught up with ‘muggle’ subjects and to earn a college degree. Harry must also have the mutations of Telepathy and Telekinesis, much like his aunt.
- Harry must become estranged from Ron, Hermione and Ginny due to the fact that they allowed the praise they gained for participating in the BoH to change them for the worst.
- Harry being the first Wizard-Mutant Hybrid to be born, with it usually being one or the other. This basically means that Illyana was younger than Harry to start with.

Complications
- Dimensional Refugee: Janet is from another reality, and didn't exactly travel across dimensions willingly. It is possible that others from her original reality will turn up from time to time, and they won't always arrive at convenient times, nor will they necessarily be friendly.
- Guy Magnet: Janet is an absolutely gorgeous redhead with green eyes. It is little wonder that guys her age tend to be falling all over themselves to gain her affection.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Janet firmly believes in Xavier's Dream and will attempt to do whatever it takes to help make mutant-human relations go more pleasantly.
- Nebulous Dark Side: The fact that Janet is capable of conjuring a Psychic Firebird to attack her enemies with seems to indicate that she, like her counterpart, is the Host to the Phoenix Force of her dimension. However at the same time, there is no evidence to this fact beyond the Psychic Firebird.
- Relationship: It is unclear if there had been a Harry Potter in Janet's reality, and even if there had been, Janet doesn't seem to care about his relationship to her dimensional counterpart because "He's dreamy!"

Complications
- Accident: Use of Extra Effort in conjunction with Illyana's Stepping Disc array will cause both her and those who she is allowing to travel alongside of her to wind up going to completely random destinations.
- Curse Sworn: Illyana's soul was removed from her body by the Sorcerer turned Demon known as Belasco. It was then split into two pieces, one of which was used in the process of creating her Soulsword, and the other was turned into a Bloodstone that can be used by whoever holds it as a means of subverting Illyana's free will, possibly even causing her to attack her loved ones.
- Darkchilde: Holding Back: In the event that over half of her team is incapacitated, or else in the instance that many innocent lives are in danger, Illyana can spend a Hero Point and make a DC 20 Will Check in order to become Darkchilde. She is allowed a +5 Circumstance Bonus on the associated Will Check. This complication does not award Hero Points.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Illyana is the Sorceress Supreme of Limbo, and as such is responsible for protecting that dimension from extradimensional threats. The problem with this, is that Limbo is one of the major breeding grounds for invasions of other dimensions.
- Prejudice: Despite the fact that Illyana is legitimately a thirteen year old girl, most people living in the X-Mansion treat her like the six year old girl she was prior to the 7 years she spent in Limbo. This is because those 7 years passed in the blink of an eye on Earth. The only real exception to this is Harry due to not being familiar with her history.
- Relationship: Illyana is the precocious younger sister of Piotr Rasputin, otherwise known as Colossus. She is also the soulmate of Katherine 'Kitty' Pryde, who is also known as Shadowcat.

Vi Veri Universum Vivus Vici
Premise: During a climactic battle, the protective magics around Privet Drive are destroyed, and a secret long hidden from our hero is revealed. These events also herald in another life changing discovery for this boy hero.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must have a marriage contract for Komand'r (Blackfire), Koriand'r (Starfire), or both sisters
- Harry must find out about the contract AFTER second year but Before/During fifth year
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry being a female in this idea
- Write with Adopted Alien Challenge where Harry is the child of a Tamaranean noble
- The sister contracted, or both sisters if you go that route, know and look forward to the contract
- If both sisters are contracted, their fighting/rivalry is due to wanting to be the first married
- Harry having Tamaranean blood in his family tree (especially fun if he somehow activates it during the Tri-Wizard tournament and “activates” a thus far dormant contract with the Tamaranean royal family)
