Ah... yes... some builds are very nebulous. They give one power and give it a variable add-on. I tend to build powers with more detail. Honestly I vasilate between the two.

I have been giving thought to a possible new campaign that has been greatly inspired by Bladewind. The current working title is Strike Force; Justice!!

Some background that I am working on....

The game is set in the DC Universe... this is mostly because the people I play with know the universe and it will save time trying to explain everything.

The characters are going to be Legacy characters of the the original Justice League. I have found that people try to build characters and then will say... " Oh wait.. my character is like ___________. " To stop this... I thought of the idea of making a homage characters...

You want to play a "Flash-like" character... then play a Flash Legacy. You want to play Batman? Play one!! Easy peasy....

As previously stated, the characters would be Legacy characters of the original Justice League. These characters could then operate on the out-skirts of the usual venue of the Justice League... ala... the Young Justice cartoon.

I will be fleshing out the world and making some characters.

This should be interesting... I hope

The Reaper is a rather simple villain, with a little twist. This is the 3e build for the character. He was originally built for 2e.

The costume is made up of several distinct pieces.
The first major piece is the "Robes of the Reaper" which is actually a 'Phase/Jump' Suit covered in spooky looking fabric robes. The base premise is that the robes are capable of generating a field that can:
1) Make the Reaper insubstantial (Ghost-like)
2) Allow the Reaper to make teleport 'jumps'.
* When the Reaper jumps there is a "F/X" component that makes it look as if he suddenly whisps-away.
The robes' headpiece also includes an independent air-supply to protect against the effects of the "Terror Toxin" as well as allowing him to walk through walls without suffocating.

The second piece is the "Staff of Damnation". This is actually the weapon that can disperse the "Terror Toxin" (ala Scarecrow). Like the DC Villian, the toxin creates massive levels of anxiety/fear as well as visual and auditory hallucinations. Concealed in the shaft is also "switch-blade" scythe blade, that can be deployed. It uses a mono-crystalular design that makes it very sharp.

The last piece of equipment is the "Wailing Lantern" This is a simple illuminating lantern that can, when activated produce an intense (magnesium flare) light and emits an ultra-sonic ghostly wail that both blinds and deafens a target.

The Reaper uses a combination of his Teleport, Insubstantial and his Terror Toxin to terrorize his targets. He will teleport into an area, become insubstantial and walk through the walls to get to the target. He will then use his Terror Toxin to induce a fear-reaction which is helped out by the Grim Reaper image. He likes to watch his targets suffer from their own fears and thrills in the situations in which he can cause them to be the source of their own deaths.

This is the classic example of a socio-path. Little is known of the man behind the mask and some even have claimed that their is no man. He likes these rumors (he started several of them) because they only serve to heighten the fear effect. He is a truly twisted individual.

"Gump" is an example of an arrival gone bad. He arrived in the standard re-entry configuration, but upon impact, he was damaged. He struck a power station which caused a massive electrical surge that damaged his cerebral cortex. This damage lowered his processing ability and the over-all effect is the appearance of a mentally disabled person... such as Forrest Gump.
The second side-effect of the damage was that once he emerged from the crater, his "enviromental assimulation" software glitched and scanned the first thing that he looked at. This happened to be a porta-potty.

This is a fun character that popped into my head when I found this picture. Hope you enjoy it.

I have finally posted my builds for Legion.

The character of Legion came about due to my son watching Ben 10 back in the day. I am a long-time fan of Bio-Booster Armor: Guyver and when these two met... Legion was formed.

I envisioned a character that would be able to shape-shift / transform into different alien bio-forms. Each bio-form has a pre-programmed template that controls the transformation. This also allows for the possibility of new bio-forms being added at a later time.

The bio-form templates that I have crafted are:

DANSHEEN:
* a classic "brick" form. It has heavy armor and is designed to take a beating. It is also the strongest of the forms.

NEPTANUS:
* an amphibious creature that is able to operate at great depths in the ocean. It's senses are attuned to operating in the murky and dark depths. It's body can also resist the great pressures of the deep.

VELOTIS:
* an insect-like creature that is able to move at incredible speeds. This creature fills the role of a "speedster". It does not have the same level of armor that the heavier bio-forms have, but it compensates with the fact that it is hard to hit.

ZARMET
* This is the most offensive bio-form, the shoulder pods mount bio-laser cannons. The lasers are neurally linked to allow for the " I see it... I hit it" type of targeting.

I considered making something more akin to the Guyver, but the Guyver is such a "complete" weapon system that it could replace the other forms. If I actually started to play this character, I might eventually "evolve" other builds... such as a flyer or something that is more stealthy (ie: Chameleon-like)

I think that this is a good stand-alone character. Playing in a team might be tricky because he can occupy the ability slots of different players. He is a "Brick" , a "Blaster", a "Speedster" and a "Warrior: Aquatic". He is a team unto himself... a LEGION

Harper Bercilak spent his youth on his family's sprawling estate in the countryside. The local workers would tell stories of history of the area, including the tales of the Green Chapel, the legendary home of the Green Knight of Authurian legend.
Early one spring morning, Harper set out to see if he could find the Green Chapel. Deep within the woods, he came to a clearing that he did not remember seeing before. At one side of the clearing there was a fallen tree that formed, what looked like a large wooden thrown. A small brook ran through the middle of the clearing with crystal clear water. Harper cupped out some water with his hand and drank. It was cool and refreshing. The entire area was eerily quiet. As it was near lunch time, Harper pulled out his lunch and looked around for a place to sit. He opted to sit in the "throne". He sat down and ate his lunch. At some time, he fell asleep. He dreamed of a large meeting hall, a large table with knights and a Green Knight.
Harper awoke with a startle when he heard somebody call his name. He looked around but did not see anybody. He looked at his watch and realized that he had been asleep for hours. He gathered his stuff and prepared to leave. As he was walking out a glint off of something metal caught his attention. It came from a small pool at the top of the brook. He walked over to the pool and looked in. He could see something in the bottom of the pool. He saw his reflection on the surface of the water, but for an instant he thought he saw an armored warrior behind him. He spun around and found nobody. He looked back into the pool and saw a small metal handle, wrapped in leather and metal braid. He reached into the pool but found that it was freezing cold, he hand started to go numb the second he plunged it in. He bit his lip and pushed down deeper. Suddenly his hand touch metal. He grabbed hold and started to pull. The metal was part of a handle of an ornately crafted axe. As Harper held it he started to feel an "energy" from the axe, as if it were humming. He swung the axe and it flew with lightning speed and split a large log with ease. Harper's mind raced with questions. Was this the axe of the Green Knight? Harper did not know what to do so he wrapped the axe in an old shirt and took it home.
Over the next weeks, Harper returned to the clearing and practiced with the axe. As fall and then winter came, Harper found it harder to return to the clearing. The following spring, he went back into the woods and found the clearing again. The following summer was spent practicing and training himself. He prepared himself physically and mentally for the future. For the first time in his life, he had a desire... a drive to push him.
Harper was sent away to a boarding school, where all the members of his family had gone. Everyday, he dreamt of the clearing and longed to get back to it. After graduation, Harper returned to the clearing. He was now a young adult. Harper stood in the middle of the clearing, practicing with the axe. As had happened so long ago, he was startled with the sound of somebody calling his name. He spun around and found a man in armor behind him. The man hefted a large axe and swung it at Harper. Harper raised his own axe to defend himself only to find that he was only holding a large wood branch. The branch splintered and Harper dove for cover. The knight stepped out of the shadows and into the light. It wore a suit of intricately etched and worked armor that gave the impression of the armor being made of leaves and twigs and such. The knight swung again and again. Harper's mind was racing and then he remembered one of the stories that he had been told when he was younger. He stopped and stood in-front-of the armored knight. The knight swung it's axe at Harper. The blade sung through the air but stopped a fraction of an inch from Haprer's head. The knight took a step back and nodded to him. Vines suddenly burst forth from the ground surrounding the wooden "throne" and the armor was pulled apart and drug back to the "throne". The pieces were neatly stacked by the "throne" with the helmet resting in the middle of the seat. Harper went to the armor and picked it up... His courage had been tested and he had passed... the armor was his.

Later Harper made some additions to the armor, such as the addition of a a radio, but the suit's abilities continue to grow and evolve as Harper serves as the Green Knight. Lady Britania met with and recruited Harper shortly after the founding of the Protectors.

Lady Britania is the latest in the long line of protectors of the United Kingdom. Each generation, one person is endowed with the power of country. They are super-powered and fight to protect the Kingdom. If the current protector falls, then the power is shunted to the next host. The title of "Lady" is an actual title. Whomever gains the powers is granted the title Lord or Lady by the Royal Family. They are also given command rank in the armed forces.

Amanda is the latest to receive the powers of Britania. She gained the powers shortly after her 17th birthday. She awoke one morning to find that she had grown and was super-strong. She enjoys her new body and the attention that she has gotten since her transformation. She currently attends college, studying Psychology.

Michael Smith, AKA: Lionheart is a man with a rather unique history. Not much is known about him except that he appeared at the gates of Buckingham Palace requesting to serve the Queen. He is a man apparently in his early 30's however, he has made statments in the past that tends to indicate that he is older than he looks.

Lionheart is capable of switching between a human form and a "Were-Lion" form that grants him increased size and Strength as well as deadly claws. He can track by scent and can perform feats of extreme agility. He can still speak in his "Were-lion" form, however, his speech is more feral and he uses more animalistic sounds such as grunts and growls.

Lionheart was the second member of the Protectors of the Crown to be recruited.

Sarah Kalowski was different from birth. Her father was a farmer and they lived on a small farm in the country. When she was 9 y/o, her family's house had a fire. When the fire-fighters arrived, they found Sarah sitting in the middle of the burning building, uneffected by the flames. Her family perished in the fire and she was moved to a foster home. A mysterious fire destroyed the home and Sarah was moved to another home. She was later moved to "home for troubled children" because of a belief that she was setting the fires. While at the school, she met a teacher that looked beyond and after some testing, it was found that she had pyrokinetic powers. She was moved to a school for special children run by the government. At the school, she was trained how to use her abilities so that she would have no more "accidents".

She worked hard through her school career and also in her other love, gymnastics. After she graduated from school, she was given the opportunity to help her country as well as get a formal education. She started working on her M.S. in Archeology/Paleoanthropology. She also was recruited for the new Protectors team.

She sees Lady Britania as a "big sister" or even as a mother-figure.
