Complications
- Enemy: Because of her role in Harry Potter's life, it can be said that the Dark Side Adept known as Voldemort is Fay's most dangerous enemy, at least for the time being at any rate.
- Honor: Fay tries very hard to uphold the Jedi Code whenever she possibly can. Sometimes she succeeds, sometimes she fails, but she always does try.
- Motivation: Guided by the Force: Fay is one of those rare few Jedi who lets herself be guided by the Force to where she is most needed, rather than relying on the Jedi Council to dictate where they feel she needs to go. This often causes her to butt heads with those same elders.
- Relationship: Despite not having taken the Trials to become a Master, Fay has accepted the role of Master in regards to a young man she feels is in desperate need of instruction in the way of the Jedi, lest he fall to Dark Side; one Harry James Potter.
- Responsibility: Fay has recently been hired to teach the third to fifth year Divination classes at Hogwarts. This is both so that Sybil Trelawney can focus on the NEWT level classes and so that Fay can use a flawless method for determining who does or does not have the 'Inner Eye' prior to the students sitting their OWL exams.

Complications
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort would give just about anything in order to be allowed to kill Harry with his own wand, but only if he is able to do so in front of his most loyal followers.
- Honor: Harry follows a strict code of honor when it comes to fights, and even when not fighting. He obeys the rules of fair play and hospitality, and may even pick up other odd and restrictive rules to add to his code of honor as he gets older.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Relationship: Harry is the only son of the late Lily and James Potter, the godson of Sirius Black, and both the ward and unofficial padawan of Fay Trislana.
- Temper: Harry is a tempestuous man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.

New Rules Mechanic

The Gray Side of the Force
- From now on, Light and Dark sided techniques will have the Tiring flaw attached to them when they are used by characters who can freely access both the Light and Dark side of the Force.
- On the other hand, if a Force User who is solely a Light-side user were to use a Dark-side technique, that Technique would have 1 rank of the Side Effect Flaw with 5 ranks of the Will Check Required flaw on top of it. The side effect flaw being keyed to granting a Dark Side Corruption Point.
- There are other ways to gain Dark Side Corruption Points, but that is the big one. For those interested in those other methods by which to gain Dark Side Corruption Points, I suggest looking at the proposed way for handling the Dark Side in Doug's blog.

Legends Never Die Brainstorm & Notes

Legends Never Die
Premise: “Legends never die / When the world is calling you / Can you hear them screaming out your name? / Legends never die / They become a part of you / Every time you bleed for reaching greatness / Relentless you survive”
Required Inclusions:
- Revan must be powerful but not godlike.
- Revan must be a gray-sided Force User who utilizes a hybridization of the Sith and Jedi Codes that allows him to more easily blend Light and Dark-side techniques.
- Revan must be reborn/reincarnated about 15-20 years prior to the events depicted in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
- The author is free to decide what gender Revan is in this continuity.
- Revan must have always been the one that was chosen to bring Balance to the Force, even back in his original lifetime.
- Revan must not interfere in the canonical events of Star Wars prior to Phantom Menace at the absolute earliest.
- The Star Forge must have been rebuilt, and must serve as Revan’s main base.
- Revan’s lightsaber must not be the standard Sith Red. In fact, it would be preferable if it were violet, to show his moral ambiguity.
- Revan must take an apprentice at some point in the story.
- Revan must prevent the massacre of younglings at the Jedi Temple.
- The vast majority of people must still believe Anakin Skywalker is the one Chosen by the Force to restore Balance.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Suggestions for Revan’s apprentice include: Aayla Secura, Serra Keto, Siri Tachi, Ahsoka Tano, or a female Potterverse character.
- Suggestions for Revan’s pairing: Aayla Secura, Aurra Sing, Asajj Ventress, Serra Keto, Siri Tachi, Riyo Chuchi, and/or a female Potterverse character.
- Revan allying himself with the Jedi Order.
Optional Inclusions:
- As should be obvious by now, it is suggested that Revan be reincarnated as Harry Potter.
- Post-Hogwarts fic, with the second attempt to kill Harry with the Killing Curse having dislodged his memories of his lifetime as Revan.
Forbidden Things:
- Revan/Harry being romantically paired with a male character.

- Honor: Harry follows a strict code of honor when it comes to fights, and even when not fighting. He obeys the rules of fair play and hospitality, and may even pick up other odd and restrictive rules to add to his code of honor as he gets older.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Relationship: Harry has almost completely severed ties with the people of Earth now that he realizes his home is among the stars. He did not fully sever those ties due to the fact that both the Veela and the Goblins were aware of the existence of the greater galaxy, and it was through their efforts that he was able to get a ship. That and the fact that his new Apprentice is none other than Gabrielle Delacour.

Complications
- Motivation: Doing Good: Gabrielle wishes to use her abilities for the betterment of galaxy as a whole.
- Mythic Weakness: Veela are actually a type of Fey, and are therefore vulnerable to iron. Such objects inflict a Rank 5 Fortitude resisted Affliction that has a 1st Degree of Dazed, a 2nd Degree of Stunned and a 3rd Degree of Incapacitated when used against a Veela. This is in addition to anything else the iron in question might otherwise be capable of doing to them.
- Relationship: Gabrielle is the younger sister of Fleur Weasley, née Delacour and the daughter of Apolline Delacour and her husband. She is also Revan (Harry)'s apprentice in the ways of the Force, which is something that will draw her away from Earth and therefore abort her education at Beauxbatons.
- Rivalry: Veela tend not to get along too well with aquatic lifeforms, such as Gungans.
- Veela Tempers & Why It Matters: Veela tend to have incredibly erratic dispositions, shifting from pleasant and cheerful people to violent and tempestuous at the drop of a hat. This makes both the Sith and Jedi Force Traditions useless for them, as either path would force them to reject one half of their very nature. Harry's path is one that they can follow as it equally embraces both halves of the equation.

The Emperor’s Hand
Premise: “Though I was seen at court, very few thought I was more than a bauble kept about to add something to the cityscape. What my master wished done was what I did. No questions. No regrets. Total devotion to duty. Those who guessed I was more to the Emperor learned to fear that I might be turned on them someday.”
Required Inclusions:
- In this story, Mara Jade (f.k.a. Alyssa Potter) will have a Balanced Chaos alignment (see associated complication for explanation).
- As a toddler, Mara was ‘rescued’ from the Dursley family’s front porch by none other than Darth Sidious, and taken out into the wider Galaxy.
- Mara’s upbringing as both one of Sidious’ acolytes and as his effective granddaughter, must be included in the story, even if only at a minimalistic level.
- Mara building Luke a harem, whether he wants one or not.
- When Mara returns to Earth, she uses her training as a Force Adept in addition to anything she picks up while on Earth.
- Mara’s strength and abilities, particularly her ‘wandless magic’ and Lightsaber, unnerve, annoy and even frighten certain people.
- At least one of the people at Hogwarts must be a Jedi hiding in a place they had hoped not to be found.
- At some point during the course of the story, Mara must take an apprentice/padawan.

- Mara eventually becomes a Jedi Master, just like she did in ‘canon.’

Complications
- Balanced Chaos: Unless her current assignment prevents her from doing so, Mara will help the people in the worst position during any given crisis. However those she helps probably won't appreciate how she goes about it, as she holds the belief that the ends justify the means.
- Destiny: Destruction: It is Mara's destiny to return to the world of her birth and destroy the man presuming to call himself the "Dark Lord Voldemort" once and for all.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Mara is a newly recruited member of the Galactic Empire's Military Intelligence Division, and more specifically she is a member of the elite group of Force Sensitives known as the Emperor's Hands. These are individuals who have been trained to carry out missions where Palpatine's more obvious agents, such as Vader, the Imperial Navy and even the Inquisitors, would be ineffective, too public or simply inappropriate.
- Relationship: Mara isn't just one of the Emperor's Hands, she is effectively the Emperor's surrogate granddaughter, as he is who raised her and taught her how to use the Force.
- Temper: The women of the House of Evans are as renowned for their red hair as they are their fiery tempers, and it only gets worse if one is born with both.

Harry’s Togruta
Premise: She never thought she would defy the Order, but when she fell in love with a handsome rogue, Shaak Ti knew she couldn’t stay entirely true to the wishes of the Jedi Council.
Required Inclusions:
- The primary pairing for this fic must be Harry / Shaak Ti.
- Harry and Shaak Ti must keep their relationship a secret, although they can still be friendly.
- Harry being what is termed a “Fringer.” Or in other words, he is someone who lives on the edges of Galactic Society.
- At some point during the course of the story, Harry performs a daring rescue of one, Ahsoka Tano.
Preferred Inclusions:
- As was noted above, Harry and Shaak Ti eventually get married, but do so in secret or possibly after Order 66.
- Shortly after rescuing her (see above), Harry teaches Ahsoka some of the magical abilities of his homeworld.

Chosen One Brainstorm & Notes

Chosen One
Premise: What if Anakin Skywalker was never the one whom the Force had chosen to restore it to balance? What if there had always been another? What if that person had been chosen by prophecy before?
Required Inclusions:
- When Iris Potter is struck by the Killing Curse for the second time in her life, she is given the opportunity to be reborn in another universe, an opportunity which she accepts.
- Iris must be reborn as the daughter/sapling of Jedi Master T’ra Saa. Her creation is quite unexpected as T’ra Saa had been the equivalent to a virgin for their species at the time.
- The Jedi Council must believe that the unexpected nature of Iris’ birth was the Force’s way of saying that T’ra Saa would be the person best suited to training Iris in the ways of the Force.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Iris regaining her memories from her original life at some point during the course of the story.
- Obviously, this is a fem!Harry story.
- Iris having been renamed as I’ri Saa instead of keeping her original human name.
- At some point in the story, Palpatine must attempt to convert I’ri over to the Dark Side of the Force. Whether he succeeds or not is up to the author.
Optional Inclusions:

Complications
- Destiny: I'ri Saa is who the majority of the Jedi Council believes will bring balance to the Force, even if she prefers the Light Side of the Force when it comes to the powers she has chosen to wield. This will unfortunately put her in opposition to Anakin Skywalker, as he is who Qui-Gon Jinn has championed for the same role in spite of I'ri having already been a candidate before Anakin was.
- Enemies: I'ri is tolerant of those who don't support the Jedi, though that does not necessarily mean they are tolerant of her.
- Honor: Everything I'ri does is for the common people.
- Motivation: Doing Good: I'ri always tries to help those in need, no matter what the personal cost.
- Obsession: Once I'ri picks a goal, she becomes obsessed with it to the detriment of everything else in her life.
- Past Lives: Once upon a time, and in a galaxy far, far away, I'ri had lived another life as Iris Lillian Potter. It is possible that the past might come back to haunt I'ri in her new life, though it has yet to be determined if this will or won't actually happen.
- Relationship: I'ri is the daughter of the Jedi Master known as T'ra Saa. She is also close childhood friends with fellow Jedi Padawan, Aayla Secura.

Guided by the Force
Premise: On the night that Dumbledore left Arista Potter on the Dursley family’s doorstep, another being stood waiting. They knew that Iris was meant for a greater purpose, and so took it upon themselves to give her the training necessary in order to succeed.
Required Inclusions:
- Any moral or ethical alignment is acceptable, though Light is preferred.
- The one who has taken Arista must be part of either the Jedi, Sith or Jensaarai Traditions.
- Arista’s upbringing with whichever group is selected must be included in the story.
- Arista must eventually become the Padawan or Apprentice to whichever individual it is that rescued her from the Dursley family.
- Arista is to be paired with female characters only.
- In the event that Arista attends Hogwarts, she must use her Force Powers and Lightsaber in order to supplement whatever she learns at Hogwarts.
- Arista’s strength and abilities unnerve, annoy and even frighten some people.
- At least one other student from Hogwarts must be learning the ways of the Force, though it need not be from the same Force Tradition as Arista is learning from.
- At some point during the course of the story, Arista must take on her own Padawan.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Arista becoming the leader of a Rebel Cell once Order 66 is given.
- Arista gaining a familiar of one sort or another.
- Arista’s master manages to either get Sirius cleared, or takes him off world.
- Obviously this is a crossover with Star Wars.
- It being a Jedi who will serve as Arista’s master and parental figure, with the Jedi in question actually being Jedi Master Fay. It is also suggested that she be paired with Sirius (see above).

- Lily was actually the former padawan/apprentice of Arista’s new master.

Complications
- Enemy: Because of her role in Arista Potter's life, it can be said that the Dark Side Adept known as Voldemort is Fay's most dangerous enemy, at least for the time being at any rate.
- Honor: Fay tries very hard to uphold the Jedi Code whenever she possibly can. Sometimes she succeeds, sometimes she fails, but she always does try.
- Motivation: Guided by the Force: Fay is one of those rare few Jedi who lets herself be guided by the Force to where she is most needed, rather than relying on the Jedi Council to dictate where they feel she needs to go. This often causes her to butt heads with the Council Members.
- Relationship: Fay has decided to act as Arista Potter's 'magical guardian' as per the rules of her home world, and also decided to take the girl to Coruscant so that she can begin her education as a Jedi. Sirius Black is also openly pursuing a romantic relationship with Fay, which seems to amuse Grand Master Yoda for some reason that Fay can't quite fathom.
- Responsibility: Fay has opted to become the new Jedi Watchman for the planet that the inhabitants know as Earth, and which the Jedi Council has designated as Sol III. She will also be training Arista Potter to succeed her in that role once Arista becomes old enough to undergo her Padawan training.

Build Comments: Arkanians are known to be capable of interbreeding with the long-lived Sephi species, and that is what I have decided to make Fay in this scenario, an Arkanian / Sephi Hybrid. She is also using the Force to extend her already substantial lifespan to the point where it might as well be unending.

Complications
- Cultural Awkwardness: Sirius is completely out of his depth in the Greater Galaxy, as he would be the case with just about any Pure-Blood Wizard.
- Easily Distracted: By just about everything in the Greater Galaxy, particularly Fay herself.
- Motivation: Thrills: This is what Sirius lives for, the thrill of the next good prank, or adventure, or even better, succeeding in courting the unflappable Fay Trislana!
- Relationship: Sirius is Arista's godfather, and is also who many people on Earth believe to be responsible for handing the Potter's over to Voldemort, even in spite of the fact that Fay convinced Albus Dumbledore to vouch for Sirius' innocence. This is largely because no one has any idea where the actual secret keeper got off to.
- Reputation: The vast majority of the Jedi don't know whether to classify Sirius as a Dark-side Adept or not, this is largely due to his ability to transform himself wholly into a canine and revert back into a human without losing any of his intellect in either form, something which defies their understanding of the Force.
