Complications
- Fame: In her original world, Iris is quite famous for having defeated the Dark Lord known as Voldemort. So famous in fact, that she couldn't bear the attention and used her dragonic powers in order to flee into the Dimensional Gap.
- Honor: Iris follows a strict code of honor when it comes to fights, and even when not fighting. She obeys the rules of fair play and hospitality, and may even pick up other odd and restrictive rules to add to her code of honor as she gets older.
- Motivation: Protector: Iris is highly motivated to use her powers to protect others. She willingly puts herself at risk to defend innocents and those she cares about.
- Relationship: Iris might possibly have a crush on Ophis.
- Temper: Iris is a tempestuous young woman, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when she is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about
- Vulnerability: As Iris is now technically a Dragon, she is vulnerable to things which would hurt Dragons, such as Samael's venom, which targets her Toughness Resistance instead of her Fortitude (as though she were an object and it had the Affects Objects extra), and Dragon Slaying Weapons. However, she is not disadvantaged when resisting such things the way other dragons would be.

Complications
- Monstrous: Great Red is one of, if not the, largest dragons in existence, and tends not to notice lesser existences, which can sometimes be her undoing.
- Motivation: Thrills: Great Red lives for the thrills she gains from flying through the Dimensional Gap at the highest speed she can possibly achieve. This is something which has unfortunately, earned her the enmity of the other dragon who calls the Dimensional Gap her home.
- Relationship: Great Red might possibly have a crush on Ophis.
- Secret: Most people assume Great Red is the one and only "True Dragon," when the reality of her existence is not even remotely close to what they believe.
- Vulnerability: As Great Red is technically a Dragon, she is vulnerable to things which would hurt Dragons, such as Samael's venom, which targets her Toughness Resistance instead of her Fortitude (as though she were an object and it had the Affects Objects extra), and Dragon Slaying Weapons. However, she is not disadvantaged when resisting such things the way other dragons would be.

Daiōkami Brainstorm & Notes

Daiōkami
Premise: What if Lily was not just a regular muggleborn witch, but a Yōkai from the Wolf Demon Tribe (Ōkami)? Well, it means that her daughter Azalea will be far more extraordinary than most people could ever imagine!
Required Inclusions:
- The girl who would become Lily Evans was adopted after having been found abandoned by one, Finlay Evans and his wife Aster Evans (née Cunningham).
- Lily’s biological parents had been pureblooded Ōkami, with her father staying in Japan to fight in a battle that had erupted due to a political schism, and Lily & her mother fleeing to England.
- Lily being related to Koga & Ayame (from Inuyasha), and possibly even being their daughter.
- Lily’s mother, whether she is Ayame or not, places a spell on Lily that will allow her to blend in among humans until her Yōkai powers emerge at puberty. This fools even Dumbledore.
- Lily, and later her daughter, must be able to shift their appearance between full human, hybrid and wolf forms at will.
- James must be in on the secret, and not care that his wife and daughter are Ōkami.
- Azalea Potter, Lily’s daughter, must inherit Goraishi from Koga, as well as Ayame’s bottomless bag of cutting leaves (shuriken).
- Much like other supernatural species, Azalea must age normally until she reaches about the age of 17 to 20, and then must slow to the rate of a typical Yōkai.
Preferred Inclusions:
- At least one character in the fic must possess Shinto Priestess powers.
- Azalea having a few wolf-like mannerisms.
- The aforementioned character with Priestess powers placing Beads of Subjugation on Azalea to curb her more reckless behavior.
- Bonus points if the Shinto Priestess is a very tsundere Dancia Malfoy.
Optional Inclusions:
- This fic being a crossover with High School DxD.
- Azalea and her Priestess leaving Britain together after the war ends, and never looking back.
- Azalea and her Priestess winding up in Kuoh Town with all the hilarity that ensues from that.
Forbidden Things:
- Azalea and her Priestess becoming members of a Devil’s Peerage or Angel’s Brave Saints.

Complications
- Beads of Submission: Azalea's girlfriend had the odd luck of being born with Priestess powers. Dancia used these powers to craft a set of prayer beads that have bestowed her with a limited amount of control over Azalea. Dancia religiously activates these beads whenever she thinks Azalea is being particularly reckless and it always annoys Azalea, even if she grudgingly admits that her girlfriend is usually doing her a huge favor by activating them. These beads are a complication because anyone that knows they exist and who has Priestess powers could activate them. The trigger command should be obvious.
- Fame: Azalea is quite famous among Hereditary Magicians (aka Wizardkind) for having been directly responsible for the ultimate demise of their most recent Dark Lord.
- Motivation: Thrills: Azalea wants nothing more than to enjoy her life and obtain a decent Muggle education now that her arch-nemesis (Voldemort) is dead and buried under sixteen feet of magically reinforced concrete that is located inside a high security vault within Gringotts that happens to be guarded by three different dragons (There is no kill like overkill!)
- Mythic Weakness: The spiritual power of a True Priestess can cause severe problems for any form of Yōkai, even ones that aren't pure-blooded, such as Azalea. Hanyō (Half-Blood Yōkai) are considered to be Impaired on their Resistance checks against the this form of spiritual power (which is actually completely different from the Radiant Light that Angels are known to be capable of generating). It is worth noting that Yōkai can actually be born with the power of a True Priestess, as was the case for both Yasaka and her daughter.
- Overconfident: This is actually the reason that Azalea has been subjected to the Beads of Subjugation treatment by her girlfriend. The only thing Azalea fears is the unknown, she can't help but trying to figure out all there is to know about everything, even if it might try and get her killed.
- Power Loss: Azalea loses access to her superhuman strength and stamina, as well as to racial powers (except for her tail) and her Senjutsu at any time when there is a Lunar Eclipse in the skies above her head. The same does not hold true for her Grand Sorceress array as it is something she inherited from BOTH of her parents instead of just being from her mother.
- Relationships: Azalea is the granddaughter of Koga and Ayame of the Demon Wolf Tribe, as well as being the daughter Sayuri of the Demon Wolf Tribe. Her grandmother died in the process of bringing Sayuri to Britain, but was found in time to bless Finlay and Aster Evans with the privilege of raising her daughter, whereupon they rechristened Sayuri as Lily Evans. Azalea's father is one James Potter, a human Wizard of some renown. Both of Azalea's parents were murdered by a madman when she was only a year old, and Azalea would have grown up in ignorance of what she could truly do if she had not met the girl who would go on to become her girlfriend on her first day at Hogwarts, one Dancia Malfoy.
- Spiritual Pressure: Daiyōkai such as Azalea must spend a Free Action each round in order to suppress their Spiritual Pressure, which has an effect radius of 120 feet (Burst Area 3), and affects any human caught inside that radius in the same way as 2 ranks of the Impedes Movement environmental effect. This is something which is shared by anything of equal strength to them within the supernatural community, and automatically activates if they are incapable of taking that Free Action, whether they want it too or not. Although in Azalea's case, this Spiritual Pressure is suppressed during a Lunar Eclipse, just like her other Yōkai powers.
- Temper: Trying to hurt someone that Azalea cares about will end very badly for you.

Complications
- Marked: Dancia has spent a large amount of money acquiring as many sexy tattoos as she can, to make it far easier for her to ignore the vicious scar that was left behind when the Dark Mark faded from her arm when Voldemort finally & truly kicked the bucket. This will unfortunately make it far easier for her enemies to identify and locate her.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Dancia just wants to live a peaceful life in obscurity with her girlfriend and anyone else that winds up joining Azalea's "inner circle" ("That reminds me, I still need to punish her for adopting that phrase... Azalea, SIT!!!")
- Obsession: Dancia is utterly and completely obsessed with British military history, to the point that she just HAD to have her own personal Supermarine Spitfire, not that she ever gets to use the guns, but it is still fun to take out for joyrides!
- Power Loss: Dancia's Priestess Power & Priestess Hex arrays are known to fluctuate in terms of strength, based upon her emotional state. While yes, this does mean it is technically possible for the array to exceed the normal limitations of her Power Level, more often than not it means that she'll lose the ability to access them entirely for an indeterminate period of time when she experiences certain emotions.
- Trait of Significance: Dancia's technology skill is considered to be Impaired when dealing with Muggle Technology made between 1960 and 1980, and Disabled with anything more recent than that. However, this doesn't actually hinder her when trying to operate Muggle vehicles from those years, as she is a natural when it comes to operating any form of vehicle, be it magical or mundane.
- Troubled Past: Dancia was forced to become a Death Eater by her father, which is something she has never forgiven him for because it temporarily drove a wedge between her and Azalea. Unfortunately that also means there are a number of people who have significant grudges against Dancia due to various things that she absolutely had to do in order to survive life as a marked Death Eater. Thankfully, she never once cast an Unforgivable Curse, so a testamony under Veratiserum to that effect saved her from Azkaban.
- Weakness: A Priestess, such as Dancia, is actually Resistance Impaired against the Priestess Powers array of other Priestesses, just like if they were a Hanyō.

Complications
- Cultural Awkwardness: Crom Cruach has spent countless centuries observing humans, devils and various other species, yet somehow managed to miss the most important fact of life... "Where do babies come from, Azalea?"
- Cursed: Crom always returns to life a century or two after someone succeeds in killing him. This is a complication for him, because he wants to die an honorable death in battle, and this complication removes death from the equation.
- Evil With Standards: Do not let Crom catch you abusing children (or child shaped eldritch entities), or he will beat you to a bloody pulp, feed you as many healing potions as it takes to get you back on your feet, and proceed to repeat those two actions as many times as it takes for your soul to die, even while your body continues to live (which is one of the only ways to kill an Evil Dragon permanently).
- Fame: "Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we fought, or why we died. All that matters is that two stood against many. That's what's important! Valor pleases you, Crom... so grant me one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, then the HELL with you!" ~~ Words immortalized in the film Conan the Barbarian staring Arnold Schwarzenegger and referencing this very dragon.
- Motivation: Thrills: Crom wants to face increasingly strong opponents in battle simply to say he has had the chance to fight the best that the world has to offer, and so that hopefully one day someone will be strong enough to end him. Beyond that, he has a very whimsical existence. H
- Obnoxious Overconfident: Crom is obnoxiously overconfident for a couple of reasons, one of which is because doesn't like repeating himself and will stop talking to someone that fails to understand his words after a single repetition. - Reputation: Crom is known as the Crescent Circle Dragon, Darkness Dragon and Dark Dragon of the Crescent Moon, and he is also the single most powerful of the Evil Dragons. He has never displayed his full fighting potential, but rumor has it he is stronger than the two Heavenly Dragons were when they were at their most powerful.
- The Taming of the Grue: All historical accounts regarding Evil Dragons agree that only an Evil God can control an Evil Dragon; and yet Crom will do whatever it takes in order to make Azalea happy, just so she doesn't stop making such heavenly Treacle Tart. He also really admires Asia's bananas.
- Weakness: Crom's Resistance scores are considered to be Impaired when he is attacked by a Dragon Slaying effect. However, the Half-Effect immunity to such attacks comes into play before those attacks even interact with his Resistance scores, so there is a really good chance he can ignore them, but that doesn't change the fact that he is impaired against such forms of attack.

DxD: Another Tail
Premise: After successfully defeating the Dark Lord known as Voldemort, Iris Potter discovers that she is not as human as she once thought, and leaves for Japan in search of answers.
Required Inclusions:
- In reality, Iris Potter was born under the name of Izumi Gozen, and is a Kitsune with nine-tails, indicating that she is the younger sister of Yasaka Gozen.
- This story must chronicle the journey of self-discovery that Izumi undertakes as she explores where she fits within the greater supernatural world of High School DxD.
- If Izumi participates in the Azazel Cup (which isn’t required), then it must be as a King with 4 Peerage Members that each possess god-tier abilities and no Queen, similar to Sun Wukong.
- Izumi must have unlocked the Cloak of Invisibility’s full potential, which in this fic will be different from what this author ordinarily has it do.
- Izumi must dress the part of a Miko despite having no formal training to act as a Miko prior to arriving in Japan. However, she must also be an incredibly quick study in said discipline.
- The Biblical Factions must unofficially recognize Izumi as the Head of the Wizarding Faction due to the fact that she is an Ultimate-class Witch who is on speaking terms with all parties.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Izumi being unable to participate in the Azazel Cup due to the conflict of interest caused by her being considered a high ranking member within two completely different Mythological Factions.
- Izumi becoming a teacher or student at Kuoh Academy around the same time that High School DxD’s official canon begins.

Complications
- Fame: Izumi is quite famous among Hereditary Magicians (aka Wizardkind) for having been directly responsible for the ultimate demise of their most recent Dark Lord. Although, they generally refer to her by the name she was given when adopted by James and Lily Potter, or in other words, Iris Potter.
- Honor: Izumi follows a strict code of honor when it comes to fights, and even when not fighting. She obeys the rules of fair play and hospitality, and may even pick up other odd and restrictive rules to add to her code of honor as she gets older.
- Motivation: Protector: Izumi is highly motivated to use her powers to protect others. She willingly puts herself at risk to defend innocents and those she cares about.
- Relationship: Izumi is the younger sister of Yasaka Gozen, and therefore the maternal aunt of Yasaka's daughter, Kunou Gozen.

Complications
- Awesome, but Impractical: While yes, having the power to destroy anything is incredibly useful for defeating one's enemies, it comes with the drawback of not really being able to train yourself to become better at using it for fear of hurting your sparring partner. This is why Rias has such low power scores in her abilities, but also why she gets far more accuracy than most characters as a trade off.
- Bumbling: Despite being a very seductive young woman, Rias is still rather naive when it comes to legitimate concerns of the heart. This can lead to embarrassing and awkward situations for the young woman.
- Cursed: Rias is currently locked into a Betrothal Contract that she absolutely does not wish to see come to fruition The problem is that there are only a handful of ways for her to escape from this contract, and even less which she'd be happy with herself for utilizing.
- Fame: Rias is widely recognized as the greater of the Two Great Onee-samas of Kuoh Academy, and both the boys and girls at that school would take great offense if someone were to take her off the romantic market.
- Motivation: Recognition: Rias doesn't want people to remember her solely as the next head of the House of Gremory. Instead she wants to be remembered as the proud and accomplished young lady known as Rias, who just so happens to be the next head of the House of Gremory.
- Relationship: Rias' older brother is the current Maou Lucifer, and she holds him in very high esteem, despite the antics he usually pulls when they are in the same room together. She also feels somewhat inferior to her brother.
- Temper: Rias definitely has a temper. She is noted as disliking people who are cruel, and will punish such people very severely, to the point where she might even kill the offender.
- Weakness: Rias is Toughness Disabled against Radiant effects.

Complications
- Comically Missing the Point: "If I had a knut for every time I've witnessed someone cast Evanesco on their own clothes since coming to Kuoh Town, I'd be the riches girl in the entire world!"
- Cursed: Daphne suffers from a primeval curse that has been handed down through her maternal family line. While the beneficial effects of this curse are listed under Daphne's Wasting Curse power, it's negative effects are listed here, as they are a complication. The nature of those effects are such that all of Daphne's Presence-based skills (save for Intimidation) are considered to be permanently Disabled.
- Motivation: Thrills: Daphne just wants to enjoy herself now that the threat of arranged marriages is no longer a factor in her life thanks to the fact that her father is serving a lifetime sentence in Azkaban.
- Relationships: The patriarch of Daphne's maternal family was none other than Sir Owain of the Round Table, who was the only child that Morgan Le Fay gave birth two who could legitimately inherit his father's holdings. Complications
- Cursed: Due to the primeval curse that she is afflicted with, Yasaka is only capable of speaking in the Spirit Tongue (Youkai) and Ignan (Fire Elemental) languages when in the midst of battle or other stressful situations. This is in spite of the fact that her Tongues curse ordinarily allows her to communicate in any language on the face of existence.
- Enemies: The Hero Faction would like very much to use Yasaka in order to open the Dragon Gate in order to summon Great Red.
- Motivation: Patriotism: Yasaka's primary responsibility is towards the protection and safety of those Youkai who are members of Kyoto's Youkai Faction, as well as for protecting her betrothed whenever she is able to do so.
- Quirk: While Yasaka is very humble and polite, she has been shown to have a teasing and slightly flirtatious side to her that can sometimes get her into a bit of trouble, such as when encountering more perverted individuals.
- Relationship: Yasaka is the elder sister of Izumi Gozen, as well as the loving mother of Kunou Gozen.

The Hogwarts Peerage Brainstorm & Notes

The Hogwarts Peerage
Premise: Watch as a much more confident Girl Who Lived arrives at Hogwarts with the intent to make her own family among the Wizards and Witches of Great Britain.
Required Inclusions:
- Elmira Lillian Potter, also known as Elmira Sitri, must be a devil, or a half-devil from a powerful enough family that she is entitled to gain her own Evil Pieces.
- Elmira’s motivation for attending Hogwarts must, at least in part, be to build a peerage.
- Elmira must be related to, or childhood friends with, at least one canonical Highschool DxD character. In this case that will be Sona Sitri, though Rias Gremory is also present.
- Dumbledore, and the vast majority of the Hogwarts staff, must remain ignorant as to Elmira’s true nature unless she chooses to reveal it to them at some juncture.
- Elmira must be the daughter of Serafall Leviathan and James Potter, although Lily Potter had been the one who was Serafall’s Contract Magician and was going to be Elmira’s foster mother.
- Elmira uses Look Manipulation to cause her eyes to assume a green shade in order to maintain the illusion that Lily Potter is her mother. Her eyes are naturally blue like Serafall.
- Elmira being obsessed with Pokemon, just like her mother is obsessed with Mahou Shoujo.
Preferred Inclusions:
- To go along with Elmira’s obsession, give her a set of 6 familiars that replicate a Pokemon team, with each familiar possibly even being Pokemon themselves.
- Hermione, Daphne or Susan becoming the Queen of Elmira’s Peerage.
- Hermione being a member of the Peerage, regardless of who is ultimately the Queen.
- Elmira being a half-devil who has decided to attend Hogwarts in order to learn about her human parent in more detail.
Optional Inclusions:
- Elmira attending Hogwarts before receiving her Evil Pieces in order to scout the school for potential members for her soon to be Peerage.
- Ron Weasley actually being introduced to Sona and beating her at a game of chess, much to Elmira’s amusement and Sona’s horror.

- Relationship: Elmira is the beloved daughter of Serafall Leviathan, her father was James Potter, and his wife was both Serafall's Contract Magician and the woman who would have been Elmira's foster mother if things had gone differently. She is also the goddaughter of the scoundrel known as Sirius Black, and a new first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

- Disability: Daphne suffers from a Blood Malediction that weakens her to the point where she is only slightly more powerful than the strongest of human beings, rather than being the substantially more powerful specimen of super-humanity that she could have been without this curse.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Daphne feels it is her responsibility to keep an eye on Elmira so that she doesn't get herself killed by their potentially homicidal dormmates.
- Mythic Weakness: Daphne is Resistance Impaired against Cursed Swords.
- Relationship: Daphne is the elder sister of Astoria Greengrass, and has for a long time now, been the best friend of Tracey Davis. Alongside of Tracey, she has become one of Elmira Potter's new roommates in Slytherin House, which was the last thing Daphne ever expected to have happen to her. And lastly, she is the daughter of Cyrus Greengrass and the Fallen Angel known as Penemue.

Complications
- Conditional Ownership: Hogwarts School Brooms are available for any of the students to use, but aren't actually the personal property of those students, and therefore any damage that befalls such brooms is something that would have to be paid for by the family of the student in question, and more often than not is something which woudl come out of said student's personal allowance.
- Cultural Awkwardness: Draco doesn't really understand Muggles, nor would he ordinarily be inclined to learn about them. The reason why he might be interested in learning about such people, is because he is "completely uninterested in Elmira Potter!"
- Feud: House Malfoy seems to be in a feud with House Weasley. Whether or not this is actually the case, or if it is just a holdover from each member's time at Hogwarts is entirely unclear. What is certain is that the most recent generation of both Houses are descended from a Black, and will therefore be beholden to Sirius Black once he decides to get his rear in gear and escape from Azkaban.
- Motivation: Justice: Draco was raised to believe that Muggleborn Witches and Wizards are stealing magic from Pure-Blood Witches and Wizards, and he is therefore motivated to correct this injustice by any means necessary, unfortunately this will tend to go badly for him, as one of Elmira's friends happens to be a muggleborn.
- Obnoxious: "Everyone was saying all up and down the train, that Elmira Potter has come to Hogwarts; am I to take it that's you? Well, I'm Draco Malfoy." Snickering is heard nearby, causing Draco to turn his attention to the source, and say, "Think my name's funny do you? Of course there's no need to ask who you are..."
- Relationship: Draco is the son of Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy (née Black), and therefore the 2nd Cousin, Once Removed of Elmira Potter (aka Elmira Sitri) through her paternal grandmother, Dorea Potter (née Black).

Complications
- Cultural Awkwardness: Hermione doesn't truly understand Wizarding Society, and tends to apply her knowledge of Mundane Society when dealing with things that don't make sense in the Wizarding Community she is now a part of. Unfortunately, this tends not to work very well. For instance, Hermione would assume House Elves are slaves, when reality they are a form of Familiar that bonds to an entire family, rather than an individual Witch or Wizard.
- Hufflepuff in Gryffindor Clothing: Hermione will never go back on her word once she gives it to someone, and she will never betray someone that has proven their friendship to her, not even if her entire Hogwarts House tries to convince her to do such a thing!
- Motivation: Doing Good: Hermione wants to use her vast intellect and what she learns at Hogwarts in order to make the world a better place.
- Obnoxious: Hermione can't help but tell people everything there is to know about things they never even knew they wanted to know about, and often does so without even being asked for her insight into such topics!
- Temper: Hermione tends to punch particularly irritating morons in the face when in the halls of Hogwarts instead of using her wand, as punching someone in the halls of Hogwarts isn't actually against the school's rules! I mean, she read all about it on page 318 of the Hogwarts Student Handbook! You know, the one Muggleborn students aren't expected to know exists and which most Pureblood students ignore!
