Complications
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort seeks to kill Tiril with his own wand solely because he perceives her to be a threat to his continued existence.
- Fame: Tiril is famous for having survived the Killing Curse at the age of Teething, though recently this fame has been coming back and biting her in the cute behind.
- Honor: Tiril is an honorable young woman, who believes it is the duty of the strong to protect the weak.
- Motivation: Protector: Tiril is always ready to put her life on the line in order to protect or rescue some hapless damsel in distress.
- Quirk: Tiril speaks using formal, pseudo-Shakespearian phrases. This actually seems to be a trait that most Asgardians share in common.
- Relationships: Tiril is the daughter of Lily Evans and Thor Odinson, as well as the foster daughter of James Potter, and since James lacked an heir of his own, has become the Heir to the Houses of Potter and Peverell. Lastly, she is an Heiress Presumptive to the House of Black and Asgard, making it so that she will be highly desired as a romantic prospect in the near future.
- Responsibility: As one of the princesses of Asgard, Tiril will be called to act on behalf of her realm.

Ragnarök Unhinged Brainstorm & Notes

Ragnarök Unhinged
Premise: The realm of Asgard has existed in an endless cycle of death and rebirth. Those Who Sit Above in Shadow have lived off the energy released by Ragnarök, and caused the cycle to continue. But now, everything is in jeopardy because one Asgardian has ‘flown the cuckoo’s nest’, as it were.
Required Inclusions:
- During one of the preceding Ragnarök cycles, Loki must have engineered a scenario whereby he will be reborn on Midgard rather than Jotunheim or Asgard, yet with all his powers.
- What actually wound up happening, is that he split his essence, so there are actually two Loki’s running around: Loki Laufeyson the God of Lies, and Harry Potter the God of Stories.
- Until he reaches adulthood, Harry shouldn’t be quite as physically powerful as Laufeyson is.
- Harry first awakens his memories of life during the previous Ragnarök Cycle either during his encounter with the Dementors in his third year, or in the forest during the Battle of Hogwarts.
- This new Ragnarök Cycle bearing close parallels to the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with events happening on approximately the stated dates.
- As one of his sons in his previous life had been the Midgard Serpent, it should stand to reason that Harry is gifted with what can be described as “Parselmagic.”
Preferred Inclusions:
- Upon awakening his memories as Loki, Harry realizes he has Metamorphic abilities and can skip out on his minders, if he still has them, pretty much at will.
- Harry retaining Loki’s ability to empower mortals, and using it to grant a favored few the longevity they would need to join him through the ages.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry and his favored ones taking part in the events of the MCU. This will be especially funny, if they show up in time to see Laufeyson discovering that he is a “puny god.”
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being in a romance with another male.

- Fame: Harry was famous almost before he was born. When he was very young, he was targeted and nearly killed by the Dark Lord known as Voldemort, only to miraculously survive and become famed as the Boy Who Lived. Now, years later, he has continued to accrue fame by virtue of his adventures at Hogwarts.
- Honor: Harry is an honorable young man, who believes it is the duty of the strong to protect the weak.
- Impulsive: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is always ready to put his life on the line in order to protect or rescue some hapless damsel in distress.
- Quirk: Harry is prone to being sarcastic, even when he is being defeated.
- Relationship: Harry is the only child of the late Lord James Potter and his wife Lily, making him the Head of House Potter. Furthermore, he is the godson and sole heir to Lord Sirius Black, making him the Heir Apparent to the House of Black. Lastly, he is apparently a clone of sorts, to the God of Mischief, Loki Laufeyson.
- Responsibility: As the God of Stories, it is Harry's responsibility to both perform heroic deeds and to record the heroic deeds of others so that they can be preserved for posterity into the future.
- Rivalry: Harry views Loki Laufeyson as an imposter, and likewise Loki Laufeyson considers Harry to be the impostor, leading the two to be in a near constant state of rivalry with one another, even if neither is truly willing to escalate things to an all out declaration of war. Both are merely content with a prank war.
- Weakness: Jotunn are Toughness Impaired vs. fire attacks.

Complications
- Cursed: If not for the blessing she received from Harry, Daphne wouldn't have led a very long or prosperous life, as she and her sister both suffer under the Greengrass family's blood malediction.
- Motivation: Recognition: Daphne wishes to be recognized as a world famous potions mistress, which is part of why she is interested in Harry, because the Potter family grimoire is something that any potions mistress would love to have access to, and which she could only gain access to as the wife of the current Lord Potter.
- Prejudice: Aside from Harry, Daphne has absolutely no interest in guys as romantic partners, which has led to some problems with the other members of Slytherin House.
- Relationships: Daphne is romantically involved with her best friend, Tracey Davis, and is the elder sister of Astoria Greengrass. She is also the eldest daughter of Lord Cyrus Greengrass and his wife Elizabeth, and stands to inherit the family title presuming that her parents don't produce a male heir.

Awake and Alive
Premise: “It's getting harder to stay awake / And my strength is fading fast / You breathe into me at last // I'm awake I'm alive / Now I know what I believe inside / Now it's my time / I'll do what I want 'cause this is my life / Here, right here / Right now, right now / Stand my ground and never back down / I know what I believe inside / I'm awake and I'm alive”
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must awaken his True Ancestor legacy at some point during, or even shortly after, his time as a student at Hogwarts.
- Due to the fact that he is now a True Ancestor, Harry must be quite strong, though he need not be as powerful as Arcueid Brunestud happens to be.
- Part of the story must cover the overwhelming psychological compulsion to drink blood that a True Ancestor will develop upon tasting the substance for the first time.
- If Harry does in fact give in to the above mentioned weakness, then his features must become distorted to reflect his devolution into the form of a Demon Lord (Fallen Ancestor).
- How others react to discovering that Harry has become a True Ancestor is up to the author, but due to the lack of knowledge on the topic, he’ll likely lose allies.
- All moral and ethical alignments are permissible.
- All romantic pairings are permissible, but the highest priority goes to the Brunestud Sisters.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This fic being a full crossover with Nasuverse, including the possibility of a Grail War.
- After awakening his True Ancestor nature, Harry decides that continuing to attend Hogwarts is no longer an option and seeks sanctuary among his own kind (but not the Dead Apostles).

- Bane: The taste of blood is anathema to True Ancestors, as it will cause them to develop an overwhelming compulsion to drink blood that could lead to them becoming enemies of the very planet they were created to defend.
- Fame: Harry is famous within Wizarding Britain for having successfully defeated their most recent Dark Lord, the man known only as Voldemort. Though truthfully, only the Clocktower recognizes his achievement in that regard these days.
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word, uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry will completely disregard his own safety if it means he can save the life of an innocent damsel in distress.
- Prejudice: Despite all the progress that has been made towards equality within Wizarding Britain, the fact remains that they do not particularly care for anything that would refer to itself by the term 'vampire', regardless of if they are benevolent vampires like the True Ancestors. And this, this is without getting into the discussion of the True Ancestor Hunts carried out by the Dead Apostles.

Complications
- Bumbling: Well, she's not so much bumbling as she is an adorkable klutz. This does have some drawbacks but it is mostly a charm point of hers.
- Cursed: Once Arcueid enters her Mad Enhancement Form, it is nearly impossible to bring her out of it again, meaning that she can never truly fight at her optimal potential if she wishes to retain the ability to view humans as anything other than food. Worse than that though, she will eventually need to put herself into an eternal slumber from which she can never awaken simply due to how much effort it takes her to keep such dark impulses restrained.
- Enemy: Up until recently, Arcueid was the last remaining True Ancestor, making her the Undesirable No. 1 of the Dead Apostles. Now she happens to share that role with Harry, and surprisingly also with her sister, Altrouge (or perhaps not so surprisingly considering her sister's tendency to antagonize everyone and anyone just because she can).
- Honor: Arcueid will always keep her word, uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in her dealings.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Arcueid seeks to perform good deeds wherever she goes. Sometimes, what she does is for the “greater good,” despite seeming to be cruel.
- Tsun~!: "I have a betrothed? Well okay, I guess I'll have to protect you from all the dangerous and evil... What?! But my sister's evil, you can't be betrothed to her too!"
- Yandere Magnet: Oh wow, where do I begin. The entire reason Arcueid has an active compulsion to drink blood is because a moron fell head over heels in yandere with her the first time he saw her. Furthermore, she has a tendency to attract the attention of guys with a certain set of Mystic Eyes, which tends to attract the attention of the aforementioned immortal yandere. And let's not forget the various male Dead Apostles who would happily delay killing her so they can... um, yeah.

Under the Sea Brainstorm & Notes

Under the Sea
Premise: “Under the sea / Under the sea / Darling it's better / Down where it's wetter / Take it from me / Up on the shore they work all day / Out in the sun they slave away / While we devotin' / Full time to floatin' / Under the sea”
Required Inclusions:
- Lily Evans must have really been the lost sister of Princess Y'Mera Xebella Challa.
- Nerine Potter must somehow end up in Xebel or Atlantis, where she is found by the inhabitants therein, and brought to the attention of said kingdom’s nobility.
- Using magic or science the nobility of whichever kingdom she winds up in must discover that Nerine is related to Mera, resulting in Mera deciding to raise Nerine as her own daughter.
- Nerine must be absent from Atlantis and/or Xebel when Mera initially meets Arthur/Aquaman.
- Nerine must possess powers that are similar, if not identical, to those possessed by her Aunt Mera and other Xebellians (In the comics only the Xebellians had water manipulation powers).
- The Wizarding World must either not know about the existence of superheroes, and especially not Atlanteans, or else they must consider them to be something for Muggles to worry about.
- If Nerine was attending Hogwarts before meeting Mera, then she must have been the only Atlantean/Xebellian who was in attendance of the school (not counting the Merfolk Colony).
Preferred Inclusions:
- Nerine being romantically paired with a female character from DC Comics.
- Mera forgetting to tell Arthur about Nerine’s existence for some reason.
- Nerine attending Hogwarts mostly because Lily did rather than because she has any real need to learn wizarding magic.
- Going through the events of Injustice: Gods Among Us and Injustice 2 at some point during the course of the story, with Nerine getting a cool armored costume upgrade.
Optional Inclusions:
- Nerine being paired with one or more of the following girls: Raven, an Amazon of the author’s choice, Hawkgirl (Age factors may be a problem), and/or a Witch of the author’s choice.
- Nerine being a prodigy at casting spells without a wand, which causes her to get scolded quite regularly by people like Minerva McGonagall and Hermione Granger.
Forbidden Things:
- Nerine being tutored in magic by Doctor Fate or Constantine.
- It is actually impossible for Dumbledore to lock Nerine into a magically binding marriage contract due to the fact that Princesses Mera and Hila are her magical next of kin.

Complications
- Cultural Awkwardness: Nerine isn't exactly used to life at the bottom of the ocean, and thus is prone to performing socially awkward actions or statements, and thereby embarrassing herself once she realizes what she has done.
- Enemy: The minor supervillain known as Voldemort, has proven himself to be very persistent in his desire to both return fully to life and to see Nerine killed for the insult of having been directly involved in an act of magic that rendered him "Mostly Dead."
- Fame: Nerine is famous within Wizarding Britain for being the only person in all of recorded history (to their knowledge) who has ever survived the Killing Curse.
- Honor: Nerine will always keep her word, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in her dealings.
- Impulsive: Nerine is a tempestuous young woman, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when she is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Nerine is highly motivated to use her powers to protect others. She willingly puts herself at risk to defend innocents and those she cares about.
- Power Loss: Nerine has yet to progress her mastery over Xebellian Magic to the point where she can draw water molecules from the air itself, so she can only use the Hard Water Shaping, Hydrokinesis and Water Weapons powers when there is a decently sized source of water in proximity to her current location. However, the same does not hold true for her Hybrid & Wizarding Magic effects, as those are both capable of creating water using nothing more than raw magical energy.
- Relationship: Nerine is the granddaughter of King Nereus of Xebel, and therefore the niece of Princesses Mera and Hila of the same Atlantean Kingdom. Mera in particular has taken it as her personal duty to act as a surrogate mother for Nerine now that she is aware that her youngest sister, Princess Lollih of Xebel (aka Lily Evans), died in order to protect Nerine from a would-be Supervillain.
- Weakness: Nerine is amphibious. She will become Impaired if she is not totally immersed in water at least once each day.

Mermanus."

Complications
- Annoy the Amazon Rules: Hogwarts has some of the oddest rules. For instance, they won't let Cassie bring her magic lasso with her, but have no problem requiring every single student to carry what basically amounts to a loaded gun, how is that fair?
- Confined: Cassie is the unlucky superhero sidekick to find herself assigned to monitoring the magical world of Wizarding Britain, which basically requires her to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, cutting her off from all her friends, social media and gaming outlets for the vast majority of the year. - Honor: Cassie is in training to become a full fledged Amazon Warrior and has been instructed adhere to the code of honor that all Amazons are expected to follow.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Cassie has been inspired by such storied individuals as Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman to fight the good fight and defend justice when and wherever possible.
- Overconfident: Cassie sometimes forgets that she's not actually invincible the way some superheroes seem to be.
- Temper: Don't call Cassie a 'half-pint' if you wish to avoid being beaten to a bloody pulp. She is very self-conscious of her height in relation to how tall Princess Diana of Themyscira is said to have been when the latter was the same age that Cassie is right now.

Complications
- Destiny: Neville is the runner up in the prophecy regarding Nerine Potter and the Dark Lord Voldemort, which means that Neville gets to take a shot at the Dark Lord should Nerine fail to defeat him when their final confrontation occurs. Sadly, Neville is no where near ready for such a confrontation as he stands right now.
- Girl Magnet: Not only is Neville the second most attractive male Pure-Blood at Hogwarts (After Cedric 'Sparkles in Sunlight' Diggory), he's also the most softspoken and kind student to reside in any of the four houses other than Hufflepuff. Naturally this means he has a fairly large fanbase among the female student body.
- Hatred: Neville despises the people responsible for permanently incapacitating his parents the spell they used in order to accomplish that feat. Surprisingly enough, he's not actually afraid of either.
- Honor: Neville will always keep his word, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Motivation: Recognition: Neville has a strong desire to prove himself to be as competent a spellcaster as Nerine happens to be. More than that though, he wishes to receive her recognition as a valuable ally.
- Nemeses: Draco Malfoy and Severus Snape both seem to have some sort of grudge against Neville, as they are his most persistent tormentors. In fact, Severus Snape, the Hogwarts Potions Professor, has personally caused Neville to botch more potions in that class than any ineptitude on Neville's part.
- Relationships: The four most important people in Neville's life, are his gran, his mother and father, and his godsister. Naturally, Neville's godsister just so happens to be the most danger prone student at Hogwarts, Nerine Potter.
- Reputation: Neville's first act of accidental magic was on the day he was born, unfortunately no one noticed it, and any subsequent bouts of accidental magic also seemingly went unnoticed, leading to Neville developing a reputation for being a squib, a child born to magical parents who lacks magic. This is a reputation that has followed him all the way to Hogwarts, and he probably won't stop being teased about it, until he gets a properly matched wand.

- Easily Distracted: Hannah can't help but be awed with how handsome Neville Longbottom has become over the past summer.
- Impulsive: Hannah has a really bad tendency to perform satire on people or organizations before she truly understands the situation. For instance, she was one of the instigators for the whole 'Heir of Slytherin' fiasco during the previous year, but quickly stopped adding fuel to that fire after her friend, Susan, pointed out that Nerine's mother was (to the best of their knowledge) a muggle-born.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Hannah wants to become a Healer when she graduates Hogwarts so that she can eventually succeed Madame Pomfrey as the Hogwarts Matron.
- Pacifist: Hannah is a member of the Hogwarts House that cherishes the traits of diligence, dedication, fairness, patience, kindness, tolerance, modesty and loyalty... the only thing they seem to be missing is an utter rejection of the establishment, middle class values and an opposition to nuclear weapons (Of course, most of wand wavers don't know nuclear weapons actually exist).
- Temper: Hannah is just as likely to hex someone who comments about her height as Cassie is to beat said person to a pulp.

Complications
- Guy Magnet: Susan has been 'blessed' with the most common super power, which means she is constantly being hounded by boys who wish to have her for a future bride. The problem with this though, is that they would all demand her children be given their family name, which would end the House of Bones as effectively as killing Susan and her Aunt would.
- Honor: Susan absolutely refuses to use spells that are capable of instantly killing someone if they score a direct hit. Surprisingly enough, the Blasting Curse (Confringo) follows her rules, while the Expelling (Expulso) and Exploding (Bombarda) Hexes do not.
- Hufflepuff, Destroyer of Worlds: Susan is one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet, but if you antagonize her sufficiently you will learn that she is capable of hexing you into submission without permanently crippling or killing you.
- Motivation: Protector: Susan feels it is her duty to protect the more passive members of Hufflepuff from would-be bullies.
- Relationship: Susan is the niece and ward of the current Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, which means that both Susan and her aunt are very high profile targets for someone like Voldemort. In fact, Susan is just a smidge lower than Neville on Voldemort's 'claim as a hostage' list due to both of their guardians having proven themselves to be immune to the Imperius Curse.
- Trait of Consequence: Susan is considered to be Disabled on her Insight skill when using it to resist the effects of the Intimidation skill. Furthermore, she is to be considered Disabled on her Investigation skill when using it for anything other than the Well-Informed advantage.

Builder's Comments: Contrary to what a lot of people seem to think, Umbridge's title of "Senior Undersecretary to the Minister for Magic" is not at all the same thing as being the "Deputy Minister for Magic." In fact, the latter function seems to be one that got incorporated into all the other functions that the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement is responsible for overseeing. Which makes Susan the closest thing Wizarding Britain currently has to a "Presidential Daughter." So I have to wonder why she didn't even get an Auror Cadet as a bodyguard... oh right, I'm referring to problem occurring in a school that one fanfiction author aptly nicknamed "Hogwarts School of Child Endangerment and Gross Negligence." This more than any other reason is why I decided to give Susan such an intimidating spell arsenal.
