Sanctificetur Matrimonium Brainstorm & Notes

Sanctificetur Matrimonium
Premise: What if the title “Master of Death” didn’t exactly mean what people thought it meant? What if instead, it was a ruse to find a mate for the sister of a certain pair of gods? What if that mate was Harry James Potter?
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must be paired with Hela at the very least.
- The story must take place after Harry has united the three Deathly Hallows, as those are the means by which he has found himself betrothed to Hela in this fic.
- This story must use the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the Hallows having been contrived by either Loki or Odin as the means by which Hela could be tamed via soul bond.
- Harry must become friends with Bruce Banner, and it must be discovered that the Hulk trusts Harry enough not to maul him when in the transformed state.
- Lily being alive, but must also have been subjected to a Memory Charm, and therefore not remember who Harry is.
- Lily must also have been living a life as the new Sorcerer Supreme instead of Stephen.
- Harry must be working on a way to enable Bruce and the Hulk to coexist peacefully.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Gabrielle Delacour having some sort of role in this story, whether that is as an additional lover, a friend or an assistant, is entirely up to the author.
- Harry eventually coming into a position where he owns some manner of business that he names in honor of his mother, which ultimately draws her attention to him.
- Harry coming into the possession of a new wand that has been constructed of something odd.
Optional Inclusions:
- Wizards and Witches are actually what is termed “Breed Mutants” which is effectively the same thing as the Inhumans, meaning their X-Gene manifests within family lines.
- Harry being on the same level as an Asgardian, due to his collection of the Hallows.

Complications
- Fame: Harry is famous within the cloistered communities where witches and wizards dwell not only for having defeated the Dark Lord Voldemort and having successfully protected the students of Hogwarts for several years, but also because he has progressed the field of magical medicine to a point where it is feasible to assist even those without magic, which had been one of the major contributing factors in the creation of the Statute of Wizarding Secrecy.
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word of honor, uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Relationship: Harry is the godfather of Teddy Lupin, and is therefore responsible for ensuring he is safe and well looked after when the lad isn't actually attending Hogwarts.
- Significant Other: Harry is romantically involved with Gabrielle Delacour, and the two are planning to wed in the near future, however there seems to be something or someone calling Harry to the stars beyond this world.

- Accident: Due to the nature of many of her spells, it is actually possible that Gabi could unintentionally spark a wildfire, however that will generally only happen if she sustains Incendio Duo for longer than a few seconds.
- Enemy: Ginevra Weasley despises Gabi for having successfully "stolen" the heart of "her" Harry.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Gabi seeks to use her abilities to make the world, and possibly even the universe as a whole, a better place for everyone.
- Significant Other: Gabi is romantically involved with Harry Potter and while they do in fact plan to wed in the near future, she realizes there is someone else whose heart is calling out to him, even if that fact isn't entirely comfortable for her. However, no matter what may come of that, Gabi will always stand by her beloved's side.

Build Comments: I decided to drastically dial back Hela's potential brokenness for the purpose of allowing her to be a viable PC (even if an expensive one) in two ways. First, Asgard's army is going to largely consist of minion rule characters so she can make full use of her Takedown advantages. Secondly, I made her attack effects be based on her Strength score rather than having them be a floating array. This way they won't necessarily be as powerful as the spells that Harry, Gabrielle and Lily possess, which is actually appropriate sense she's more of a warrior than a sorcerer.

Complications

Speedster Potter. Turns out that the Speed Force has some relationship with regular magical fields, maybe the whole "master of Death" thing turned Potter into a potential Black Flash.

Run, Harry! Run!
Premise: Turns out that the Speed Force always had a relationship with the world’s magical fields, and that collecting the Deathly Hallows could act as a triggering mechanism of sorts…
Required Inclusions:
- All moral and ethical alignments are permissible.
- Harry being incredibly strong, if not overpowered.
- When the story starts is up to the author, however the prompt indicates that it should start after Harry collects the Deathly Hallows.
- At some point during the course of the story, Harry must discover he is capable of running a hell of a lot faster than other people.
- Harry’s speed must be inherent to his existence, however it is possible that an external triggering mechanism, such as collecting the Hallows, was needed to awaken that speed.
- When Harry runs, he must leave a mystical aura in his path, much like the speedsters in DC. This is especially relevant as the prompt indicated that his speed is part of the Speed Force.
- At least once, Harry must use his speed for mischievous purposes.
- At some point during the course of the story, someone must use the classic line “Run, Harry! Run!” in order to make the title of this fic make some sense.
- All romantic pairings are permissible for the purposes of this fic.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Not only does collecting the Deathly Hallows awaken Harry’s latent access to the Speed Force, but it also turns him into a manifestation of death known as the Black Flash.
- This fic being a full crossover with DC Comics, with Harry being a hero in this setting.
- Harry discovering that in addition to speed, magic and death, he can control lightning.
- At some point during the story, Harry uses his super-speed to travel through time.
- Harry developing a monstrous appetite due to his newly increased metabolism.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry being required to have multiple spouses due to the number of bloodlines he has to pass on to the next generation.
- Harry uses his super-speed to travel back and save at least one of his parents, with his connection to death preventing him from being erased from time by this action.

- Alignment: Light Neutral: "Usually the needs of others outweigh my own, but either the ends or the means may be more important, depending."
- Dual Force Conduit: The reason Harry is empowered by the Speed Force, is because he is technically a Conduit for both the Death and Life Forces and therefore needed a more neutral Cosmic Force to act as his actual power source. Unfortunately, this can sometimes leads to Harry getting mixed messages from the Entities responsible for governing those two opposing Cosmic Forces, leading to him gaining the Dazed condition for a single round.
- Motivation: Responsibility: As a psychompomp who is tied to the seven cosmic forces, it is Harry's responsibility to ensure that those who are tied to said cosmic forces reach their final resting places when it is their appointed time to die, as well as keeping vigil over those who have yet to awaken their connection to those forces, so that they actually have the chance to do so before they die.
- Relationship: Harry has now found himself thrust into an awkward romantic relationship with the newly awakened Life Force Conduit known as Lily Potter, in other words, his very own mother.

Damn, while the idea was good, I don't think I can actually implement it in a way I'll be happy with. I also think I'm going to give another shot at the idea where Harry (or in this case a female version of Harry) is Raven's Sibling.

The Daughters of Trigon Brainstorm & Notes

The Daughters of Trigon
Premise: Early in her marriage, Lily Potter was kidnapped by a cult who worshiped the elder demon known as Trigon. She managed to escape, but not before she had a child sired upon her by said demon. How will the world be different now that Raven has a half-sister?
Required Inclusions:
- Eglantine ‘Tina’ Potter, must be one of Trigon’s half-demon daughters.
- Regardless of how it is accomplished, Tina must be at least two years older than Raven is.
- Tina’s human form must have some demonic traits (in this case those traits will be white hair and orange cat-like eyes).
- When not around people that she trusts, or when she isn’t performing heroic duties, Tina must have a way of disguising her demonic traits (likely based on the Succubi Change Form ability).
- Tina must possess similar, if not identical, powers to Raven, and her powers must be set at a higher level due to having had longer to train with them.
- In addition, Tina must possess a degree of enhanced strength, speed, durability & intelligence.
- Tina must start off as a solo heroine, before eventually being invited to join the Justice League.
- At some point during the course of the story, Trigon must attempt to use Tina in much the same way he would try to use Raven in “The End.” Once he fails, he switches focus to Raven.
- After Trigon attempts to use her as a gate, Tina must track down Raven so as to shield the girl from a similar attempt by their father, and in doing so, become Raven’s heroic mentor.
- Tina must be just a bit more ruthless towards villains than other heroes usually are due to her history in the Wizarding World and at home with the Dursley family.
- Tina’s romantic pairing must include one or more of the following: Diana Prince, Zatanna Zatara, Shayera Hol and/or Dinah Lance. Others are also acceptable.
Optional Inclusions:
- Including the events of some of the DC Movies, such as Crisis on Two Earths, Justice League: Doom and/or the events of Injustice: Gods Among Us.
- Using one of the DC Animated Series as the basis around which this story is based.
- Tina picking a code name that is based around either a species of snake or bird.
- Tina having been taken under the wing of one of Earth’s various magic users.
- Tina’s control over her emotions not being even remotely as effective as Raven’s own control.
- Tina dropping out of Hogwarts so she can both find Raven and take care of the girl.
- Dumbledore, Snape, Ron, Molly, Fudge, Umbridge and Voldemort all getting their comeuppance for the various things they did wrong to Tina.

- Alignment: Light Neutral: "Usually the needs of others outweigh my own, but either the ends or the means may be more important, depending."
- Enemy: Tina has many enemies, but none of them are more irksome to her than Headmaster Dumbledore, as the man cannot seem to get it through his head that she is her own person and not his little minion.
- Hatred: Much like Nymphadora Tonks, Eglantine absolutely despises her given name and will usually yell at someone, if not hex them, if she catches them using that name in reference to her. She much prefers to be referred to by her code name, or the diminutive of Tina.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Tina views it as her personal responsibility to look out for her younger sister and to make sure that neither of the two of them are ever exploited by their father again.
- Powerful Empath: Tina’s self-control sometimes slips and she becomes overwhelmed by ambient emotions, suffers pain from very strong feelings around her, or she unwittingly uses Dream Dementia and Numb Emotions on others. She always regrets these lapses.
- Temper: Tina’s dark nature occasionally threatens to dominate her personality. When giving in to her darker emotions or when overpowered by demonic influence, she becomes the infernal embodiment of Death and it’s up to her closest friends & loved ones to bring her back.

Premise: “Listen baby, ain't no mountain high / Ain't no valley low, ain't no river wide enough baby / If you need me call me no matter where you are / No matter how far don't worry baby / Just call my name I'll be there in a hurry / You don't have to worry // 'Cause baby there ain't no mountain high enough / Ain't no valley low enough / Ain't no river wide enough / To keep me from getting to you babe”
Required Inclusions:
- Rose Potter must be found, taken in and raised by Odin and his wife Frigga.
- While she will continue to be referred to as either Rose Potter or Rose Odinsdottir on Earth, her Asgardian name must officially be changed to Aðalrós Óðinsdóttir.
- Rose must meet and fall in love with an Asgardian.
- Rose must still face and defeat the Dark Lord known as Voldemort at some point during the course of this story.
- Odin blessing Rose with the full powers and might of an Asgardian, and having her trained in the ways of a Valkyrie.
- Rose must have the ability to hear when someone in urgent distress speaks her name (no matter the distance), and another ability which allows her to travel to their location.

- Alignment: Light Lawful: "Usually the needs of others outweigh my own, but the means are as important as the end."
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort seeks to kill Rose with his own wand solely because he perceives her as a threat to his continued existence.
- Fame: Rose is famous within Wizarding Society for having survived the Killing Curse at the age of Teething. However, due to the fact that she never turned up at Hogwarts, her fame has somewhat diminished and could even be considered infamy now that her name has come out of the Goblet of Fire.
- Honor: Rose is an honorable young woman, who believes it is the duty of the strong to protect the weak.
- Motivation: Protector: Rose is always ready to put her life on the line in order to protect or rescue some hapless damsel in distress.
- Relationships: Rose is very close with her adoptive family, viewing them as some of the most important people in her life. Which means she will be very disappointed in her brother, Loki, if he decides to assist Thanos and the Other in their scheme to conquer the Earth.
- Responsibility: As a Valkyrie, Rose is an elite warrior who has sworn to defend the Throne of Asgard, even if that means she might one day have to sacrifice her life in order to defend the reigning Allfather. There are of course other duties that she is responsible for, such as choosing the Slain, but the defense of the Throne is the biggest and most important responsibility she has.

- Alignment: Dark Neutral: "Usually my needs outweigh others’, but either the ends or the means may be more important, depending."
- Lose Control: Attacks which do something to disfigure Amora's face tend to cause her to become outright homicidal towards her assailant. She's even been known to rip someone's soul clear out of their body for such an attack.
- Motivation: Hedonism: Amora lives for the attention of others and will seek out lovers who strike her fancy. She's also not particularly concerned with what gender the target of her affection happens to be, so long as they can potentially reciprocate her feelings.
- Oblivious: Amora regularly treats Skurge the Executioner as hired muscle, and he lets her get away with it because he is utterly and completely in love with her. The problem is that Amora would only ever realize that fact, after Skurge has kicked the bucket, which would cause her to have a major nervous breakdown.
- Obsession: With winning the affection of at least one member of Asgard's royal family, provided of course that said person's name isn't "Loki", as she can't stand the guy.
- Reputation: Amora is known throughout the Nine Realms as a scheming opportunist and seductress.
- Trait of Consequence: Amora's Eldritch Kiss is 10 ranks lower than the rank it would need in order to have a 51% chance at subjugate the cosmic-tier threat known as Red Onslaught, which is something she has demonstrated the ability to do in the comic books.
