Wordmaker Stories
Wordmaker Stories
Just wondering if anyone has saved any of the stories written by Wordmaker on the old ATT forums like "Fall of the Bat"?
Re: Wordmaker Stories
Afraid not, but you might be able to find it on the wayback machine.

<emerges from the ice like Captain America>
So um, wow. People still like those stories?

Re: Wordmaker Stories
It's been a while, huh?
(Thank you!)
Sadly, pretty much all of the Wordverse stories were drafted and posted directly to the ATT forums. I'd love to see if the Internet Archive has them saved.

Re: Wordmaker Stories
Welcome back Wordmaker. And to be honest I find using wayback a real pain so umm ... ahhh ... but I did manage to grab a copy of the Vendetta fight before everything disappeared.
Re: Wordmaker Stories
Welcome back.
I can try to take a look after work.
I don't suppose you had links/bookmarks for the old ATT site saved? If you could drop them here it might help in the search.

Re: Wordmaker Stories
Here, try this one.
I'm not sure how many, if any, of the links work inside it, but it might work.

Re: Wordmaker Stories
Well, I did find the thread, but not much luck getting any of the links to work. Just the last page and the first page
Re: Wordmaker Stories
I wish I'd know the ATT was going down. I'd have backed-up the old stories.
Re: Wordmaker Stories
That is the main thing everybody has been saying since the boards went down.
Apparently there was some kind of security issue that was allowing people to access the store... I don't really know what happened, but apparently they just shut it down immediately.
One of the gentlemen from Green Ronin has been trying to find some way of getting it back up, if only in a read only format, but it's been a little slow going so far.
I get the feeling he's not really getting any backing from the rest of the company.

Re: Wordmaker Stories
I must keep an eye on it, then. My writing was still very rough back then, but I'm pretty proud of them. Even if Fall of the Bat basically ends with Batman beating up his girlfriend... :-O
Re: Wordmaker Stories
Not sure if this will work as I haven't used this account for a very long time but this is the first story I copied back in the day then always meant to copy the rest
