Jad is one the Mercenaries that's permanently involved with the Caravan the players are protecting towards the next town, since Gnoll attacks are on the rise in the area. He is a very staunch and devoted protector. Since this is the forgotten realms, he is a typical Chondathan with blonde hair, and hazel eyes. He is five foot ten, and weights 190 lbs. He is a devout worshiper of Helm.
Recent events of the game, Jad has gained a new weapon. I am essentially running a campaign for one actual player, and I'm playing the roll of two of his party members, out of necessity to keep the game going. The party while protecting their caravan came across a massacre at a lone farm along the way. Investigating it, reveals that a party of six gnolls had killed the family and were residing in the home. The party cleared the house of gnolls, but not without Jad and Hadjewick (the player) took some serious damage. The Gnoll leader set a trap for the party on the second floor, by pushing a book case down the stairs at them. The party was quick, having able to avoid it save Lex. Who took some minor damage.
The Mace of the gnoll leader, after the party split up the treasure in their first encounter. The Mace is not magical, but it is painted red in swaths. With a red leather hilt, from which a feather is hung. The mace is spiked, and does 1d8+1 to hit and damage against unarmored foes and creatures. Otherwise, it does 1d8 damage.
