Complications
- Enemy: The Dark Lord styling himself as "Voldemort" would like it very much if Erika would simply let the man kill her.
- Honor: Erika follows a strict code of honor when it comes to fights, and even when not fighting. She obeys the rules of fair play and hospitality, and may even pick up other odd and restrictive rules to add to her code of honor as she gets older.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Erika will often go out of her way in order to save the life of some hapless damsel in distress. This also often leads her and those who she calls her friends and comrades, into rather harrowing situations.
- Phoenix Shard: Erika is one of the many possible hosts for the Phoenix Force, and while she is not currently the receptacle for its vast and phenomenal cosmic power, it is possible that at some future point the Phoenix will decide to make Erika it's host, at which point her stats will change to reflect the powers associated with the Phoenix, and she may even become a non-player character due to having become the Dark Phoenix.
- Power Loss: Effects which act to daze or stun her will result in her losing focus on her Psychic & Telekinetic descriptor effects for as long as such conditions remain in effect.
- Prejudice: As a Mutant, Erika is faced with certain prejudices and hatreds being directed at her from the non-powered members of society. This is possibly made worse by the fact that she is also one of the most visible members of Magical Society, or at least she is next to Doctor Stephen Strange.
- Relationships: Erika is apparently the 'reincarnation' of one, Rachel Summers, who is herself the alternate universe daughter of Scott Summers and Jean Grey, two people Erika has a chance of meeting and becoming friends with due to the fact that she is the same age as they are.

MWL, Redux Brainstorm & Notes

Saga of the Martian Who Lived, Redux
Premise: In order to allow him the chance to grow up without the discrimination against his race, a young White Martian's parents sent him to Earth where he was adopted by Lily and James Potter.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry’s birth parents must leave him a telepathic message that explains his race, identity and powers once he reaches a certain age.
- Besides the powers that Martians usually possess, Harry must also possess either a natural affinity towards magic, or else must gain one via a blood adoption performed by the Potters.
- Harry must encounter and befriend Rachel Roth, who must be around Harry’s age, prior to his 11th birthday and the arrival of his Hogwarts Letter.
- Rachel must help Harry learn how to harness both his psionic powers and his magic.
- By the time they turn 17 years old, both Harry and Raven must be acting as superheroes.
- Harry and Raven must be approached by two members of the JLA about joining Young Justice, which they will agree to join around the same time that Artemis got recruited.
- The only ones who can initially know that Harry is a Martian are Rachel, Batman, Martian Manhunter, whichever GL is used, Superman, Miss Martian and Superboy.
- The only ones who can initially know that Harry is a White Martian are Raven, Martian Manhunter and Batman, although Miss Martian will know as soon as they telepathically chat.
- Harry and Rachel must be far more ruthless towards criminals than most heroes.
- In this fic, until Martians reach adulthood they will age at about the same rate as humans.
- The primary pairing for this fic must be Harry / Raven. Additional girls are acceptable after that.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry running away from the Dursley’s after he meets Rachel.
- Harry and Rachel refusing to attend Hogwarts due to the negative intent they can sense coming from either Dumbledore or Snape, one of whom is responsible for delivering the letter.
- Harry or Rachel leaving Dumbledore and/or Snape in a permanently comatose state.
- Harry or Raven leaving a member of the Light in a permanently comatose state.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry subconsciously using Density Shifting in order to protect him from Voldemort’s Killing Curse (this author doesn’t see that working out the way the challenger does).
- Bashing of Wizarding Britain, especially as it pertains to Ron, Ginny & Molly Weasley, Snape, Voldemort & Dumbledore (This author wonders if this is really necessary?)
Forbidden Things:
- Harry winding up romantically involved with a male character.

Complications
- Court of Popular Opinion: Harry has the unfortunate bad luck to have become famous before he could properly understand the concept. As a result he is often the subject of praise, ridicule and various other related concepts, but which one is largely dependent on what the most recent gossip item related to him happens to be.
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort would give just about anything in order to be allowed to kill Harry with his own wand, but only if he is able to do so in front of his followers.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry will often go out of his way in order to save the life of some hapless damsel in distress. This also often leads both Harry and those who would share his company into rather harrowing situations.
- Power Loss: Harry loses all Martian related powers, and suffers a reduction in his Strength to 0, while his Stamina is reduced to 1 whenever he is exposed to fire. Also, while Harry probably has a Bio-Ship, he has no idea where it wound up after his Earth parents passed away, so he can't really make use of it at the moment.
- Prejudice: Harry is a member of the White Martians, and on Mars that would force him to be treated as a second class citizen at the absolute best. On Earth he at least has a chance to make a name for himself, and given the fact that he is the Heir to both the House of Potter and Black, has a better chance than most.
- Relationships: Harry is the bonded mate of Rachel Roth, and much to Rachel's bemusement, seems to constantly attract the attention of other girls. He is also the biological son of a pair of Martians who sent him to Earth for a better life, and the adoptive son of Lily and James Potter. He has furthermore, been named Sirius Black's Heres Ex Asse and through that, stands to inherit all wealth belonging to the House of Black in addition to that associated with the House of Potter.
- Temper: Harry will often decide on a course of action without properly considering the full repercussions of what it is he plans to do. This is something he has been known to do even when people would try and advise him on the consequences of his decisions.
- Unstable Power: Harry has been experiencing difficulty assuming female forms with his Shapeshifting power. This is to be treated as though he had the Unreliable (Roll) flaw on his Shapeshifting power whenever he attempts such a thing.

Complications
- Hell Hath No Fury: Raven's greatest weakness is her temper. While she is enraged she will blindly attack whoever gets in her way, with precedence being placed on the individual who caused her fury. However, at the same time, her Active Defenses are halved; making it far easier to defeat her. Despite this, the only thing that really changes is her Active Defenses and single-minded focus. Not even Harry is entirely safe from her wrath when she becomes this angry.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Raven wishes to be accepted for who she is, not feared for what she could one day allow her father to do to the world she truly wishes to view as her home. Thankfully, she has already found some acceptance in her boyfriend, Harry Potter.
- Power Loss: Raven’s Soul Self can be damaged or even captured by an opponent using the right magic or amount of power. In this case, she cannot use Soul Self Incarnate or the powers in the Soul Self array. She languishes and may die if forcibly separated from her Soul Self for too long.
- Power Nexus: Because of her heritage, Raven is the target of many supernatural forces who wish to use her for their own dark purposes.
- Relationships: Raven is the first and only daughter of Trigon, and also the girlfriend of Harry Potter. She and Harry reluctantly agreed to attend Hogwarts, but now that their OWL exams are finished, well they really didn't want to be attending to begin with, so there may be no time like the present to get out of Dodge as they say.
- Uncontrolled Precognition: When Raven tries to use her Trance or Ritualist advantages, or when she’s just trying to sleep, she can receive precognitive flashes outside her control that knock her out and abort her attempt to use her powers and/or prevent any recovery from resting.

The Clone Who Lived
Premise: Aster Potter always wanted a family that would love her, she just never imagined that family would take the form of an identical twin sister that she had never met and who was actually a year older than her…
Required Inclusions:
- This fic must be centered around a female version of Harry Potter, who shall be referred to as Aster Potter.
- Aster must be a clone of Jean Grey, who for the purposes of this story will be one year older than Aster. How Aster wound up with the Potters and in possession of magic is up to the author.
- Aster must encounter the X-Men, who are the ones to discover that she is a clone. This will likely be a result of her resemblance to Jean, as well as due to a blood test.
- While having Aster be an avatar of the Phoenix Force is permissible, she is not to be as powerful in its use as Jean is herself.
- The author is to remember that due to their different upbringings, Aster and Jean will be different people, in spite of the fact that Aster is Jean’s clone.
Preferred Inclusions:
- It is the author’s preference that Aster simply be in possession of the Psychic Firebird ability, rather than having her be an Avatar of the Phoenix Force, as that is a bit OP.
- Aster being romantically interested in both girls and boys equally, with her forming romantic connections with at least one girl in the X-Men and one Witch. A male pairing is optional.
- Suggested pairings include but are not limited to: X-23, the Stepford Cuckoos, Rachel Summers, Jean Grey herself, Madelyne Pryor, Emma Frost, Fleur Delacour, Daphne Greengrass, Astoria Greengrass, Dancia Malfoy, etc…

Complications
- Court of Popular Opinion: Aster had the unfortunate bad luck to become famous before she could properly understand the concept. As a result she is often the subject of praise, ridicule and various other related concepts, but which one it is she happens to be subjected to at any given moment is dependent on what the most recent gossip related to her life happens to be.
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort would give just about anything in order to be allowed to kill Aster with his own wand, but only if he is able to do so in front of his followers.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Aster will often go out of her way in order to save the life of some hapless damsel in distress. This also often leads both Aster and those who would share her company into rather harrowing situations.
- Relationships: Aster is the first person to have been cloned from Jean Grey. She is also a clone of Lily Potter (née Evans), who also agreed to carry the girl to term. This was something that the person responsible for creating Aster agreed to since he was an old friend of the Potter family and James came to him in hopes of having a child after he turned out to be infertile, the addition of Jean's genetic sequence wasn't something Aster's parents (Lily and James) were aware of. She was also the goddaughter and Heres Ex Asse of of the late Sirius Black.

Complications
- Guy Magnet: Jean has an active boyfriend in Duncan Matthews, nearly got the "Hulk Smash!" treatment via Fred Dukes when the boy decided it was the best way to express his romantic interest in her while she was showing him around Bayville High on his first day, and her teammate Scott Summers will go to pieces if she is hurt during a training session, to say nothing of what happens if the same thing were to happen during a live battle scenario.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Much like many of the other X-Men, Jean was inspired by Charles Xavier's dream of a world where mutants and humans can exist together in peaceful harmony and is constantly striving to help make that a reality.
- Relationships: Jean is the youngest daughter of John and Elaine Grey, with an older sister by the name of Sara. However at the same time, she is one of two genetic templates upon whom Aster Potter was modeled during the cloning process, and both Jean and Aster would prefer to consider each other sisters rather than mother and daughter. Jean's parents seem to be of the same opinion, that Aster should be considered as good as a younger sibling to their daughters.
- Sisters, Sports and Giles: One of the first things Aster managed to accomplish, was to prove that she was a superior athlete to Jean, which means that if Aster truly wished it, she could replace Jean in many of the activities that Jean uses to distinguish herself from the other residents of the X-Mansion. Fortunately, Aster seems to be more interested in American Football than she is in nice safe girl sports. The only question is whether Jean can manage to convince Aster to wear the protective padding and helmet while playing the game...
- Stop Laughing, Aster: For some reason, both Jean and her mentor Xavier feel the need to place the fingers of one, and in some instances both, hands on their temples when using their telepathy. This isn't actually a necessary component of such powers, as Aster will laugh at them both whenever she notices them doing such silly things. Naturally Jean is trying to break herself of this habit so that her younger sister doesn't laugh at her anymore.
- Temper: Not only is she a redhead, but Jean is also a Tsundere in terms of how she reacts to other girls hitting on the boys she is interested in. Although she tends to take her temper out not on the girls, but on the poor unfortunate boy they happen to be hitting on.

The Oncoming Storm (DC) Brainstorm & Notes

The Oncoming Storm
Premise: “He’s like fire and ice and rage. He’s like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun. He’s ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and can see the turn of the universe. And… he’s wonderful!” (This is not a crossover with Doctor Who despite the quote)
Required Inclusions:
- Ares abducts the newly born Prince of Themyscira and places him in the care of the House of Potter in hopes that having him raised in the world of man will drive a wedge between the Prince and his sister, allowing him to have a chance of survival when Diana finally catches up to him.
- Harry must be a powerful and self-confidant demigod, though not a perfect one. He was after all raised by the Dursley family and thus will have certain character flaws.
- Harry must want to live up to the values of the Dark Knight (Batman) and the Justice League, but won’t always agree with their methodology.
- Harry’s romantic pairings must act as his moral compass and serve to keep his darker tendencies in check.
- Harry must be intelligent and can possibly even be a genius. He can have whatever occupation that the author desires so long as he also has full access to the Potter wealth.
- There must be 3 Magical maturities in this setting that serve to unleash a Demigod/Amazon’s full powers, one at the age of 11, another at 14 and the third at 17.
- Harry must eventually leave the Wizarding World for the Muggle one, although why he does so is up to the author. Dobby and Winky must follow him when he leaves, assuming both survive.
- Harry must have all the powers described for Jason in the Prime Earth profile for him, as well as his magic from the Harry Potter continuity.
- Harry must also have a weakness to Nth Metal and no special resistances to magical attacks.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This fic being a crossover between Arrowverse, Justice League and/or Wonder Woman.
- The romantic pairing being a harem would be preferred, even if the number of girls is limited.
- Harry having a knowledge of tactics, military strategy, being a multilinguist, having enhanced intelligence, having mastered at least two Martial Arts, and so on, because if he has these powers he needs to know what to do with them.
- Harry’s initial weapons being either a broadsword, dual shortswords, or a collapsing baton that can be used as a focus for his magic as well as a weapon.
- Harry eventually receiving The Armor of Zeus as well as the Spear of Hippolyta, just like the Canonical Jason did.

- Fame: Harry has become quite famous within Wizarding Britain for the part he played in the final defeat of the Dark Lord Voldemort, and also for all the effort he went through to keep his fellow students at Hogwarts safe during the years that he attended that school.
- Honor: Harry follows a strict code of honor when it comes to fights, and even when not fighting. He obeys the rules of fair play and hospitality, and may even pick up other odd and restrictive rules to add to his code of honor as he gets older.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry will often go out of his way in order to save the life of some hapless damsel in distress. This also often leads him and those who he calls his friends, into rather harrowing situations.
- Power Loss: Harry actually has to call out the name of a specific power slot in his "Aegis of Olympus" array in order to use the benefits of that power slot. This means that if his mouth is bound or he is otherwise prevented from being able to speak, he cannot benefit from that array. The same generally holds true for his Wizarding Magic, as Harry still struggles with casting spells silently, although he has demonstrated the ability to cast them wandlessly, hence his "Catalogue of Arcane Lore" power.

- Black & White Morality: In Lena's mind, someone is either 100% a good person, or 100% a bad person, there is no middle ground. She does however make allowances for people she considers good people to use less than squeaky clean methods to do good things. Also, if you lie to her or betray her trust, you will never get a chance to rebuild your relationship with her.

- Motivation: Acceptance: One of Lena's primary goals, if not her single driving objective, is to undo the damage that her elder half-brother has done to the Luthor family name.
- Quirk: Lena seems to like the color white a whole heck of a lot. Her entire office is done up in the color, right down to the knickknacks that are on the shelves and desk. She also seems to like the color black, as it is the color she most often wears as clothing. This just draws attention to her sense of morality.
- Relationship: Despite the fact that she despises what her half-brother has become, the fact remains that Lena does love him, and did at one time admire the guy.
- Reputation: The Luthor family does not have a very good reputation in the world, primarily due to the actions of Lena's elder half-brother, Lex.

Legends Forever Brainstorm & Notes

Legends Forever
Premise: “Riding through thunder and lighting once again / We slayed the beast we brought an end / Now we have left the kingdom of the damned / Heroes of the day, legends forever”
Required Inclusions:
- All moral and ethical alignments are welcome.
- When the story starts is for the author to decide.
- Harry must be powerful or stronger.
- Harry must possess the power of Tempestakinesis (otherwise known as Storm Manipulation).
- What forms this power takes are up to the author to decide, but it must be an inborn ability, meaning that he doesn’t require a weapon or other device to channel it the way Thor originally did with regards to Mjolnir.
- Regardless of the form that the power takes, Harry must have an affinity with Lightning.
- How Harry discovers his power is up to the author to decide.
- Harry must have a friend and/or ally who can also manipulate the weather in some manner.
- When Harry gets upset, the skies darken with signs of a bad storm being imminent.
- All romantic pairings are permissible for this story.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Crossover with Marvel Comics, with Harry actually being Thor’s son, who was gifted to the Potters so that Harry could learn to be a true hero by being surrounded by humans.
- Due to his semi-deific nature, the Horcrux was incapable of taking hold in Harry’s scar.
- As well as storms, Harry is capable of controlling all forms of weather.
- Harry acquiring a familiar that has some form of connection to storms.
- Harry being involved in a plural relationship.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry learning how to fly without the assistance of a broom, or more probably, learning how to “Ride the Lightning” as it were.
- Harry acquiring a weapon that is able to aid, or increase, his powers, even though the powers themselves must naturally come from his own person.
- Due to the effects of the Resurrection Ritual, Tom becomes Harry’s equal and opposite.
Forbidden Things:

Complications
- Accident: Sometimes, when Harry is particularly upset, the weather in his surroundings will change in order to reflect his roiling emotions.
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort would give just about anything in order to be allowed to kill Harry with his own wand, but only if he is able to do so in front of his followers.
- Honor: Harry follows a strict code of honor when it comes to fights, and even when not fighting. He obeys the rules of fair play and hospitality, and may even pick up other odd and restrictive rules to add to his code of honor as he gets older.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry will often go out of his way in order to save the life of some hapless damsel in distress. This also often leads him and those who he calls his friends, into rather harrowing situations.
- Relationship: Harry is the leader of a group of three friends commonly referred to as the Golden Trio. He is also the son of Thor Odinson and Lady Sif, but was fostered out to the House of Potter in hopes that living among humans could teach him lessons that his father had to learn in a much more roundabout manner. Also, due to the fact that James and Lily Potter were unable to have children of their own and made it abundantly clear they desired Harry to inherit if they died in the war against Voldemort, he has inherited their titles, possessions and lands.

Magic Wings (v2) Brainstorm & Notes

Magic Wings
Premise: Shortly after leaving the Justice League, Shayera Hol discovers a young child being brutally beaten by a group of boys and resolves to make a difference in this young man’s life. This leads to startling revelations and a new relationship that neither she nor this young boy had ever thought possible.
Required Inclusions:
- Shayera Hol must take in and raise Harry Potter, though she will probably view him as a younger brother rather than a son due to the fact that he is only 13 years her junior.
- Shayera must find Harry not long after she leaves the Justice League in the wake of the Thanagarian Invasion, though before she decides to ask the Nelsons for a place to stay.
- Shayera is actually distantly related to the House of Evans (which isn’t that out there considering there were Thanagarians in Ancient Egypt).
- Harry must become a member of Young Justice, Teen Titans or a similar but original group.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Shayera blood adopting Harry (Which wouldn’t be too surprising considering Thanagarians have to have some understanding of magic to begin with, and she did stay with the Nelsons).
- Shayera becoming romantically involved with either Wonder Woman or Batman.
- Shayera not returning to the Justice League until Harry is either a teenager or away at Hogwarts or any of the other magic schools.
Optional Inclusions:
- Instead of using a Blood Adoption to give Harry wings, he uses a Thanagarian Wing Harness.
- Harry still managing to become the Master of Death (or in this case, DoE).
- Harry being paired with at least one of the following YJ characters: Thirteen, Spoiler and/or Wonder Girl (Cassie), with this fic being a crossover with YJ’s 2nd, 3rd & 4th seasons.
- Harry being required to take more than one wife by Wizarding Britain for whatever reason.
