Harry Potter and the Great Seraph Brainstorm & Notes

Harry Potter and the Great Seraph
Premise: Life after the Second Blood War for Harry Potter wasn’t what he had been expecting. While it wasn’t actually any worse than his expectations it was still quite different. They say “with great power comes great responsibility,” but what happens when the hero doesn’t want the power and responsibility he’s been given?
Required Inclusions:
- This story must begin shortly after the conclusion of the Second Wizarding Civil War, although when this event tracks onto the DxD timeline has been left up to the author’s discretion.
- Harry must wake up one morning with access to both the knowledge and powers of the God from the Bible, but must also have absolutely no idea how he acquired this “blessing.”
- Wanting to find an explanation for his new powers, Harry must pack his belongings and head off on an extended trip around the globe.
- Harry and his deific predecessor must be two entirely different individuals; so while Harry has his predecessor’s powers, that doesn’t mean he will act like the deity in question.
- While the God from the Bible was kind enough to supply Harry with instructions for his new powers, the new God will still lack the breadth of experience and wisdom of his predecessor.
- The author is allowed to pair Harry with whomever they want so long as Gabriel of the Seraph is involved in that romantic relationship.
- The forces of Heaven must be alerted to their father’s rebirth immediately after it occurs, however Harry must also be crafty enough to continually evade their search parties.
- With that said, Harry must also allow Gabriel to find him so that the two can get to know one another, even if she will have absolutely no luck convincing him to take up his “responsibilities.”
Preferred Inclusions:
- The more powerful supernatural existences should only be able to locate Harry when they are looking for The Man Who Conquered rather than the Successor of God.
- Harry should sneak into Heaven and perform a system reboot and upgrade on the Throne of Heaven, thereby allowing Angels to form romantic relationships and easing Michael’s burden.
- Harry should take Asia Argento under his wing after she is excommunicated from the Church; however, that doesn’t mean he will reveal his divine status to the girl.
- Michael should deliver one heck of a Shovel Speech to Harry after he discovers the latter’s interest in Gabriel. This should happen before Michael learns of Harry’s divine nature.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could call back the soul of Slytherin’s Basilisk while also repairing it’s body and transform the entire creature into a new Sacred Gear that he gives to Daphne Greengrass.
- Daphne could introduce Gabriel of the Seraph to the wonders of Victoria’s Secret.
- Harry could sneak into the Underworld to watch Rating Games while in disguise.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being married, to Ginny or anyone else, prior to the start of the story.
- The Seraph successfully convincing Harry to take up his responsibilities.
- Harry being truly omniscient and omnipotent.
- Harry deciding to join the Khaos Brigade.
- Harry the Dark Emo Doormat.

- Easily Flustered: Anyone who mentions Gabriel's assets in the same sentence as her "Strongest Woman in Heaven" epithet will quickly discover just how easy it is to embarrass this particular angel.
- Honor: Gabriel will always keep her word of honor, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in her dealings.
- Motivation: Responsibility: As an Angel, Gabriel is required to provide aid to good-hearted folks and uphold the cause of her Heavenly Father.

Whispers in the Dark
Premise: What if there was more to the Potter lineage than most people realized? What if they could actually trace their family tree all the way back to Lancelot du Lac? And what if Harry Potter saves the life of a mysterious girl shortly after being abandoned in Japan by the Dursley family?
Required Inclusions:
- The Dursley family must take Harry Potter to Japan and abandon him there prior to his eleventh birthday and the arrival of his Hogwarts Letter.
- At the same time, Akeno Himejima must have fled to the streets of Japan after having witnessed her mother being killed by their kinsmen.
- Akeno and Harry must encounter each other, with the latter saving Akeno’s life from her kinsmen by way of his prodigious talent for acrobatics and swordsmanship.
- Akeno and Harry must ultimately become involved with one another on a romantic level.
- If other girls do end up being included in the pairing, then they must have a similar background to either Harry or Akeno, so no one who comes from a family such as the Gremorys.
- Harry must possess the Knight of Owner attribute, allowing him to imbue improvised weapons with either the Holy or Demonic quality, depending on if he is a Devil or not.
- Akeno must master her father’s Holy Lightning far earlier than in canon.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should eventually gain access to Arondight, the fabled Holy Sword belonging to his Heroic Ancestor. Although, the sword would likely be ‘Blackened’ if Harry becomes a Devil.
- Akeno and Harry should accidentally perform a magical marriage ceremony while they are still young, binding them together in a way that is effectively unbreakable.
- Harry should help Akeno deal with the rage she feels towards both her father and her kinsmen, while Akeno should help Harry deal with the same in regards to the Dursley family.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry taking Xenovia’s place within Rias’ Peerage as her second Knight, with Xenovia managing to hold onto her faith in the Heavenly Father and becoming a Brave Saint.
- Harry could be just as skilled at magic as he is swordsmanship.

Harry of Arcadia Brainstorm & Notes

Harry of Arcadia
Premise: Albus Dumbledore could frankly say he didn’t like how young Harry Potter turned out. The boy was strong willed, independant and prefered living off the land to being stuck in a city, and was far too powerful for his own good. Unfortunately, this was only to be expected since he lived most of his young life in the wilds of Arcadia.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be the Half-Devil progeny of James Potter and Serafall Leviathan, having been left in his father’s care due to Serafall’s political station.
- This odd romantic pairing came about due to the fact that Lily Potter was actually Serafall’s most recent Pact Magician, leading to quite a number of threesomes.
- Harry must still find his way into the care of Petunia Dursley after the deaths of James and Lily Potter, which means that Serafall will have to look long and hard for her son.
- While the Blood Wards surrounding Privet Drive will protect the inhabitants from Voldemort, they won’t shield Harry from supernatural threats which aren’t aligned with the Dark Lord.
- Harry must be abducted at a young age by a guild of supernatural mercenaries who intend to either hold him for ransom or sell him off to the highest bidder.
- These mercenaries must decide to take a break in the Arcadian wilderness, only to be set upon by a clan of Nekomata who live in that Grecian province.
- The mercenaries must be defeated after a short but intense fight, causing them to abandon their quarry so that they can save their own lives.
- The adults of this Nekomata clan must decide to raise Harry as their own since they have no idea where he came from and because he quickly formed a bond with their young daughter
- Harry’s primary romantic pairing must be Atala, the aforementioned daughter. Other girls are permissible provided they get Atala’s permission to join the pairing.
- Harry’s upbringing in the Arcadian wilderness must cause a number of problems once he begins interacting with members of Wizarding and Devilic society.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry and Atala should be accepted as students at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic instead of Hogwarts due to their geographic proximity to the French school in relation to Hogwarts.
- Atala should actually be the inheritor of Atalanta’s spirit, the Chaste Huntress of Greek myth, with Atalanta’s Noble Phantasms becoming a form of Sacred Gear.
- Harry and Atala should be part of the Beauxbatons delegation for the Triwizard Tournament due to Madame Maxime’s desire to keep an eye on her two most troublesome students.
- Harry should take on the self-appointed task of defending Fleur Delacour from unwanted suitors when it is discovered that he is entirely immune to her allure.
- Serafall could bump into Harry completely by accident when she arrives at Hogwarts in order to watch one of the Tasks for the Triwizard Tournament.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry’s lack of training in his demonic powers could cause him to have difficulties when using a wand as a magical focus. On the other hand, he could have a knack for wandless magic.
- Harry and Atala could bond with Rubeus Hagrid over their similar lifestyles.
- If Harry is gifted with his very own Peerage, then he could offer Atala whichever piece she would like, while also advising her on the qualities of each of those pieces.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being the vessel for either of the Heavenly Dragons.
- Dealing with the Scarcrux in the canonical manner.
- Serafall abandoning the search for her son.

Complications

Pax Deo
Premise: Life after the Second Blood War for Harry Potter wasn’t what he had been expecting. While it wasn’t actually any worse than his expectations it was still quite different. They say “with great power comes great responsibility,” but what happens when the hero doesn’t want the power and responsibility he’s been given?
Required Inclusions:
- This story must begin shortly after the conclusion of the Second Wizarding Civil War, although when this event tracks onto the DxD timeline has been left up to the author’s discretion.
- Harry must wake up one morning with access to both the knowledge and powers of the God from the Bible, but must also have absolutely no idea how he acquired this “blessing.”
- Wanting to find an explanation for his new powers, Harry must pack his belongings and head off on an extended trip around the globe.
- Harry and his deific predecessor must be two entirely different individuals; so while Harry has his predecessor’s powers, that doesn’t mean he will act like the deity in question.
- While the God from the Bible was kind enough to supply Harry with instructions for his new powers, the new God will still lack the breadth of experience and wisdom of his predecessor.
- The author is allowed to pair Harry with whomever they want so long as Gabriel of the Seraph is involved in that romantic relationship.
- The forces of Heaven must be alerted to their father’s rebirth immediately after it occurs, however Harry must also be crafty enough to continually evade their search parties.
- With that said, Harry must also allow Gabriel to find him so that the two can get to know one another, even if she will have absolutely no luck convincing him to take up his “responsibilities.”
Preferred Inclusions:
- The more powerful supernatural existences should only be able to locate Harry when they are looking for The Man Who Conquered rather than the Successor of God.
- Harry should sneak into Heaven and perform a system reboot and upgrade on the Throne of Heaven, thereby allowing Angels to form romantic relationships and easing Michael’s burden.
- Harry should take Asia Argento under his wing after she is excommunicated from the Church; however, that doesn’t mean he will reveal his divine status to the girl.
- Michael should deliver one heck of a Shovel Speech to Harry after he discovers the latter’s interest in Gabriel. This should happen before Michael learns of Harry’s divine nature.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could call back the soul of Slytherin’s Basilisk while also repairing it’s body and transform the entire creature into a new Sacred Gear that he gives to Fleur Delacour.
- Fleur could also introduce Gabriel of the Seraph to the wonders of Victoria’s Secret.
- Harry could sneak into the Underworld to watch Rating Games while in disguise.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being married, to Ginny or anyone else, prior to the start of the story.
- The Seraph successfully convincing Harry to take up his responsibilities.
- Harry being truly omniscient and omnipotent.
- Harry deciding to join the Khaos Brigade.

Complications
- Flashbacks: Issei will occasionally suffer emasculating flashbacks to his horrific first date with his late ex-girlfriend, Amano Yūma (aka the Fallen Angel, Raynare).
- Girl Magnet: According to Ddraig, the power of Dragons helps make Issei even more attractive to the fairer gender than he otherwise would have been. It is worth noting that all of Ddraig’s previous hosts were surrounded by members of the opposite gender.
- Honor: Issei is utterly shameless when it comes to ogling girls and gushing about their finer attributes. However, he would NEVER force a girl to be intimate with him, nor would he ever take advantage of a girl in a moment of weakness. Those who would do such things tend to piss Issei off like nothing else ever could.
- Involuntary Transformation: In times of extreme stress, such as when Issei believes one of his beloved companions has been killed, it is possible for him to accidentally trigger his Sacred Gear's Juggernaut Drive. When exposed to the appropriate stimuli, Issei must succeed on a DC 23 Will Resistance Check or else transform into the equivalent of an Old Red Dragon (PL 14) in terms of combat statistics. While in such a state, Issei will attack anything that his senses are capable of perceiving, whether it is friend or enemy, but will usually focus on the enemy who he believes killed his beloved companion if such is the triggering stimuli.
- Motivation: Hedonism: Issei wants to become the King of a Harem, and it is this desire which serves as the carrot which Rias Gremory hangs in front of him in order to maintain a semblance of control over this young man.
- Rivalry: Issei considers himself to be Harry's rival for the heart of the fair maiden known as Asia Argento. Harry on the other hand, simply finds Issei to be an amusing target for pranks.
- Weakness: Issei is Toughness Impaired against damage inflicted by Light-based and Dragon Slaying attacks; Holy descriptor are also considered to be Incurable against him. Furthermore, he becomes Dazed and Vulnerable when exposed to verbalized prayers or scripture dedicated to the Biblical God.
