Legacy of Flowers Brainstorm & Notes

Legacy of Flowers
Premise: During a trip to Diagon Alley, young Harry Potter encounters a beautiful blonde girl who changes his entire life. Heard it before? Well what if the blonde was actually Le Fay Pendragon, with Harry actually being the most direct descendant of the Mage of Flowers?
Required Inclusions:
- This fic must begin in Diagon Alley, with Harry encountering Le Fay Pendragon, who must successfully identify him as the Heir of Merlin Emrys.
- Harry must inherit a small magical puzzle box from his ancestor that contains the Archmage’s equivalent to a family grimoire. Actually opening the box will be a long-term project for Harry.
- Harry must join Vali’s Team, and leave Great Britain with them when they decide to head over to Kuoh Town. This should happen after the conclusion of Harry’s fifth year at Hogwarts.
- Harry must form a Pact with a Devil, however this bond must be formed with someone other than Rias Gremory or Sona Sitri.
- Harry must successfully gain control of at least one of the two Magician Factions that have allied themselves with the Khaos Brigade.
- Harry must possess at least some degree of metamorphic talent, allowing him to alter his hair and eye color whenever he wants so as to pass unnoticed when relaxing after work.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should be approximately as strong as a High-class Devil prior to opening Merlin’s Puzzle Box, and he will jump to the level of either an Ultimate or Satan-class Devil after he opens it.
- Harry’s cooking skills should endear him to Ophis and Lilith the Younger, even if he won’t really have a chance to cook for Kunou and Koneko for some time.
- Fleur Delacour should be one of several members of the OotP who are sent to retrieve Harry, only in her case, she’ll most likely end up staying with him once she finds his hiding place.
Optional Inclusions:
- If Voldemort ends up joining the Khaos Brigade, then he’ll have to play nice with Harry as no one messes with Ophis’ personal confectioner!
- Vali Lucifer could actually be a Valeria Lucifer instead.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry remaining within wizarding society after his true heritage is revealed.
- Harry the weak emo doormat.

- Merlin's Puzzle Box: A lot of Harry's potential power is trapped behind an incredibly complicated magical puzzle which he is still in the process of figuring out. When he finally succeeds, his Power Level will increase to 12, and he'll gain access to several new spells that he was previously incapable of casting due to inexperience.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at great risk in order to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore is attempting to sculpt Harry into a sacrificial lamb that he can throw at Voldemort in hopes that Harry's death will act as catalyst that will allow the old man to swoop in and defeat Tom once and for all.
- Relationships: Harry is the most direct descendant of Merlin Emrys, and also the son of the late James and Lily Potter. He is also the godson of the late Sirius Black, with the latter two facts making him the Head of House Potter and Black respectively.
- Rivalry: Harry has accidentally sparked a rivalry with Georg of the Hero Faction over the trivial question of which one holds a superior understanding of magic.

Disce Bene Vivere & Mori
Premise: Harry Potter’s destiny had always been laid out in blood. It always seemed to be shed for his benefit, or because of his actions. Then one day, he awoke to his true nature, which gave him access to the power he would need in order to break free from the shackles which bound him to Wizarding Britain.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must actually be a remarkably powerful Wizarding Dhampir, with his mother having been a Pure-Blooded Vampire from the Carmilla Faction.
- Lily must have possessed a genetic quirk that allowed her to utilize wizarding magic by almost completely suppressing her vampiric nature.
- While the Blood Wards actually will serve the purpose of protecting Harry from Voldemort and his followers, they will also suppress his vampiric traits until he is old enough to fend for himself.
- Harry must drop out of Hogwarts after Sirius kicks the bucket so that he can seek out combat instructors for the Monster Hunting career he truly wishes to pursue.
- Harry must gain a certain level of renown for both his professionalism and success rate after he officially begins hunting down Stray Devils and other assorted monsters.
- Harry must be trained in both swordsmanship and Gun Kata to a level which would make John Preston quite proud of the young Dhampir.
- Harry’s vampiric awakening must not deprive him of his ability to utilize wizarding magic, which is actually an incredibly rare phenomena, as most vampires and dhampir lack such an ability.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should possess the same genetic quirk as his mother which allows him to shift between a wizarding and vampiric persona.
- Harry should first encounter Rias Gremory and her Peerage while they are both hunting the same Stray Devil within the Kuoh city limits.
- Harry should forge a fruitful business partnership and/or alliance with Isabelle Carmilla, which could evolve into something far more romantic down the line.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could eventually be hired by a third party to come back to Britain and deal with Voldemort and his followers in a permanent fashion, much to Dumbledore’s frustration.
- Lily could be revered in a manner befitting a Saint by the rest of the Carmilla Faction.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry allowing any well-meaning adults to have legitimate control over him.
- Harry being turned into a Devil without prior consent.
- Harry being the vessel for either Heavenly Dragon.

Complications
- Bane: Dragonic blood acts as both a Stimulant a potent Aphrodisiac when consumed by a vampire such as Isabelle. This means that it would be incredibly easy for her to become addicted to such blood, and thus entirely dependent upon whichever dragon has decided to supply her with such vital fluid.
- Bloodthirst: Isabelle must make a DC 22 Will resistance check whenever she refrains from consuming blood for an extended period of time. Failure on this check forces her into a feeding frenzy that can only be halted when someone manages to incapacitate her.
- Enemies: Isabelle would be wise to consider Rizevim Livan Lucifer as an enemy, as well as the majority of the vampires who hail from the Tepes faction.
- Honor: Isabelle is basically the "Big Good" of vampiric society, and as such is one of the more honorable members of her species.
- Invitation Required: Isabelle can't cross into someone's home without an invitation (forced or willing) from one of the mortals who call that dwelling their home. Businesses, temporary housing and unowned homes do not offer their occupants this form of protection.
- It's Okay If It's You: Aside from Harry, the only people Isabelle is romantically interested in are other women.
- Motivation: Patriotism: As the Queen of the Carmilla Faction, Isabelle is entirely devoted to the protection and welfare of her people.
- Power Loss: Isabelle loses access to her Body Resistance power when defending herself from fire-based attacks and weapons which are either blessed or made from wood or silver.
- Vampiric Aversions: Water, Garlic and Holy Symbols can be used to hold Isabelle at bay. - Weakness: Isabelle is Toughness Impaired against damage inflicted by Light-based attacks and Holy descriptor effects are also considered to be Incurable against her. Furthermore, she becomes Dazed and Vulnerable when exposed to verbalized prayers or scripture dedicated to the Biblical God.

Crouching Fox, Hidden Dragon
Premise: For all that she’d been adopted as a toddler, Hyōdō Ayame loved her family. Learning that she was a witch wasn’t a big surprise, she had always known she was odd, but learning about the true depths of the Supernatural world and that both she and her younger brother had a role to play in it, well that took them both completely off guard.
Required Inclusions:
- Hyōdō Ayame must actually be none other than Iris Potter, the Girl Who Lived. How she came to live with the Hyōdō family is up to the author.
- Ayame and Issei must be particularly close as siblings, even if Ayame does enjoy teasing her younger brother a bit too much.
- The true supernatural world must catch up with the siblings at around the same time, with Issei being left to the mercy of a beautiful Devil Princess when Ayame heads to Kyoto.
- While Ayame has always been a Kitsune, she must suffer under the delusion that her newly discovered nature is a divine curse with only Yasaka being able to convince her otherwise.
- Ayame must be given the Legendary Spear, Tonbokiri, after completing some manner of Quest for one of the Shinto deities.
- While Ayame will be glad to see her brother surrounded by multiple women who truly love him, she must also be incredibly wary of both Azazel and Kuroka.
- Sirius Black and Remus Lupin must be the only Englishmen who initially know where Ayame/Iris is located, with said knowledge locked behind a modified Fidelius charm.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Issei should officially ban Matsuda and Motohama from the Hyōdō Residence after they are discovered going through Ayame’s underwear drawer.
- The Onmyōji should do their absolute best to shield Ayame from the manipulations of Albus Dumbledore, as they would most likely be aware of her kinship to Yasaka Gozen.
- Ayame should attempt to comfort her brother after he confides in her the true extent of the mental trauma he is suffering from thanks to the Fallen Angel known as Raynare.
Optional Inclusions:
- Ayame could have a reputation for being a “Hafu Barbarian” at Mahōtokoro due to her tendency to overpower her spells during moments of inattention.
- Ayame could be just as attracted to girls as she is to boys.
Forbidden Things:

Complications
- Accidents: Ayame will occasionally use her Untapped Potential advantage without meaning to, often with hilariously disastrous results. On the bright side, she doesn't become Fatigued when this occurs since she'll likely have to personally counter whatever disaster she just unleashed!
- Enemy: The dark wizard who styles himself as "Voldemort" would be quite happy to kill Ayame and everyone she cares about simply because of a few words spoken in an alcohol-induced trance which may or may not have any bearing on reality.
- Honor: Ayame will always keep her word and strives to uphold the common good; however, she is also known for being quite mischievous.
- Impulsive: Ayame is a tempestuous young woman, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when she is being advised of those consequences by someone who might have an idea what they're talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Ayame is highly motivated to use her powers to protect others. She willingly puts herself at risk to defend innocents and those she cares about.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore has proven himself to be quite persistent in his efforts to reclaim Ayame by any means necessary, even if that means making enemies of forces he has little to no understanding of, and would happily manipulate people she might not want to hurt in order to help see his vision for the future come to fruition.
- Relationships: Ayame's mother, Lily Potter, is one of Yasaka Gozen's first cousins, making Ayame herself Yasaka's First Cousin, Once Removed. This in turn means that Yasaka's daughter, Kunō Gozen, is Ayame's Second Cousin. She is also the adoptive daughter of Hyōdō Gorō and Miki, making her the adoptive elder sister of their son, Hyōdō Issei.
- Reputation: Ayame's tendency to overpower her spells has garnered her a rather notorious reputation among those individuals who attended Mahōtokoro with her.

Complications
- Flashbacks: Issei will occasionally suffer emasculating flashbacks to his horrific first date with his late ex-girlfriend, Amano Yūma (aka the Fallen Angel, Raynare).
- Girl Magnet: According to Ddraig, the power of Dragons helps make Issei even more attractive to the fairer gender than he otherwise would have been. It is worth noting that all of Ddraig’s previous hosts were surrounded by members of the opposite gender.
- Honor: With the exception of his sister, Issei is utterly shameless when it comes to ogling girls and gushing about their finer attributes. However, he would NEVER force a girl to be intimate with him, nor would he ever take advantage of a girl in a moment of weakness. Those who would do such things tend to piss Issei off like nothing else ever could (unless it involves peeping on his sister, which is simply asking for a bruising).
- Involuntary Transformation: In times of extreme stress, such as when Issei believes one of his beloved companions has been killed, it is possible for him to accidentally trigger his Sacred Gear's Juggernaut Drive. When exposed to the appropriate stimuli, Issei must succeed on a DC 23 Will Resistance Check or else transform into the equivalent of an Old Red Dragon (PL 14) in terms of combat statistics. While in such a state, Issei will attack anything that his senses are capable of perceiving, whether it is friend or enemy, but will usually focus on the enemy who he believes killed his beloved companion if such is the triggering stimuli.
- Motivation: Hedonism: Issei wants to become the King of a Harem, and it is this desire which serves as the carrot which Rias Gremory hangs in front of him in order to maintain a semblance of control over this young man. Ironically, his sister fully supports him in this desire.
- Relationship: Issei is the younger adoptive brother of Hyōdō Ayame, and is incredibly fond of his sister in spite of her incessant teasing.

I Can See Clearly Now Brainstorm & Notes

I Can See Clearly Now
Premise: What if Harry Potter discovered his true legacy while trying to clear his mind during the period of time where he was attempting to learn Occlumency? And what if this legacy gifted him with powers so great that they were beyond the understanding of most mortal men?
Required Inclusions:
- Harry is allowed to possess any moral and ethical alignment that the author desires, however it is preferable that his baseline personality remain the same despite his new powers.
- Harry must discover his long hidden legacy while trying to center his mind during the period of time where Snape is butchering his attempt to teach Harry Occlumency.
- Harry must discover a creature which shares similarities to a Fire or Psychic-type Pokemon, possibly to the point that it actually is one, and then bond with it as his Familiar.
- Harry must be Highly Gifted in terms of his Intellect, even if he has a history of concealing this intellect from pretty much everyone who might praise him for it.
- Either Dumbledore, Voldemort or the Ministry itself must already be aware of Harry’s hidden legacy. However, the author has free reign to determine how they react to this knowledge.
- The author is allowed to set Harry up with whichever girls that they desire as a romantic pairing, however it has been suggested that Rias Gremory be involved in this pairing.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story should be a crossover with the world setting of High School DxD, with Harry eventually making his way over to Kuoh Town.
- Harry should actually be the son of Helios, who had taken on the mortal identity of James Potter and ultimately transferred his Divine Power to Harry shortly before his demise.
- Harry should possess a Divine Realm of his own, as he is technically the new incarnation of Helios, however the exact nature of this Divine Realm is up to the author.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry’s discovery of his hidden legacy should also give him access to a fully formed Occlumency Palace, which could easily save Sirius’ life.

King of Luminous Ice
Premise: Harry Potter’s heritage is much more complex than anyone could have imagined. While he truly is the only child of James and Lily Potter, there had also been two supernatural entities involved in his conception: Serafall Leviathan and Azazel of the Grigori. How will Harry react when he discovers a family that truly does care about his wellbeing?
Required Inclusions:
- At some point in his youth, Harry must discover the ability to create javelins, spears and various other constructs from ice that glows with an inner light.
- Harry must be rather wary of authority figures and slow to trust other people due to the traumas he suffered through while living with the Dursley family.
- The Magician Society known as the Golden Dawn must detect Harry’s growing power, which is clearly not wizarding magic, and send someone to investigate on their behalf.
- The Golden Dawn must inform the proper authorities in the Underworld once their agent discovers Harry’s true nature.
- Serafall must be fully aware of Harry’s existence, even if she believes he died with James and Lily. Azazel’s knowledge of Harry’s existence however, is up to the author.
- Harry must be firmly within the same level of power as any High-class Devil would be.
- It must still be Harry’s destiny to put down the Dark Lord known as Voldemort, however no one ever said he was unable to receive the training necessary to survive that confrontation.
- Harry’s quasi-angelic nature must act as a means by which to destroy the Scarcrux.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should get along splendidly with Riser Phenex since he would actually see how much Riser does care about his Peerage, and has no stake in his betrothal to Rias Gremory.
- Serafall should lobby the Council of Elders on her son’s behalf, asking them to give Harry a Peerage of his own, since his heritage makes him a target for assassination and kidnap plots.
- Headmaster Dumbledore should be aware of the Supernatural World, and should also make a huge fuss with the magical authorities when Harry disappears from the Dursley residence.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could completely ignore the fact that a Great Devil King is supposed to remain aloof from his or her family by making frequent visits to his mother’s mansion.
- Harry’s signature moves should be patterned on Haku’s Demonic Ice Mirrors and Inuyasha’s Adamant Barrage, only using Luminous Ice instead of the original elemental natures.
Forbidden Things:
- Serafall refusing to acknowledge Harry as her legitimate progeny.
- Azazel taking his new role in Harry’s life particularly well.

- Destiny: It is Harry's destiny to be the one who will ultimately vanquishes the dark wizard who styles himself as "Lord Voldemort."
- Impulsive: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by someone who might have some idea what they're talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at great risk in order to defend innocents and those he cares about.

Complications
- Bumbling: Illya turns into a blushing, stuttering mess whenever she encounters someone in a maid's uniform. Naturally, this means she'll run into a whole lot of trouble in the very near future. The exception to this rule is in the case of maids who are wearing the uniforms of the Einzbern family, since they're basically her sisters!
- Curse Sworn: Illyasviel never actually wanted to become a magical girl, despite being a huge fan of that particular anime genre. Unfortunately, she can't exactly quite being one, since her fully sentient magical focus is who decided to bless (curse) her with these powers and follows a "No Take Backsies" school of thought.
- Life Linked: Illya's life force is connected to the magical energy of the natural world, which means that she suffers from Psychic Backlash whenever someone directly attacks those plants, animals and other natural phenomena that are within her visual perception range. The effect rank of this Psychic Backlash is equal to the Damage Rank of the whatever attack was used on her surroundings.
- Motivation: Protector: Illya wishes to use her magical powers to protect others, and doesn't have a mean bone in her entire body.
- Mythic Weakness: Illyasviel is completely incapable of having children of her own due to her status as a Justeaze-model Homunculus.
- Relationship: Illya is the younger sister of Emiya Shirou, and the elder sister of Emiya Chloe, and is highly protective of both of her siblings. She is also incredibly good friends with a young woman by the name of Miyu Edelfelt.
