The Guardian Beast Brainstorm & Notes

The Guardian Beast
Premise: Everyone with magic knows who Hazel Potter is, as she is the girl who banished Voldemort at the tender young age of Teething. Yet what few people know, is that Hazel Potter is so much more than they could ever imagine her to be, as she is in reality, The Guardian Beast.
Required Inclusions:
- Hazel Lillian Potter must in reality be the Angel known as Haziel, The Guardian Beast
- Hazel must possess the qualities of a Lillend, which is to say she can transform into a winged Lamia and may even have served as part of the inspiration for such creatures.
- Hazel must possess absurdly long hair that she is somehow capable of keeping immaculate even when in the Greenhouses or Sewers of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry.
- Hazel is to be limited to no more than four wings at the start of the fic, so as to prevent her from totally train-wrecking the plot of High School DxD.
- The Wizarding World largely being segregated from the rest of the supernatural community due to either their arrogance in regards to the others, or the presence of Soul Magic.
- Angels must be allowed to take romantic partners, but being required to remain faithful to that partner until they pass on to the hereafter (“Until Death Divide the Two Apart”).
- Hazel must have a horrible temper tantrum when she realizes what Tom’s Diary actually was.
Preferred Inclusions:
- The Hazel Potter persona being roughly the same age as the members of Rias’ peerage.
- Having Hazel drop out of Hogwarts after Sirius’ death, either so she can hunt down Tom’s trinkets, or so she can move to Kuoh in time for the Peace Summit.
- The Heavenly Light that flows through Hazel’s veins manages to prevent the Horcrux from ever taking root, or at the very least greatly weakens it over time and ultimately destroys it.
- Heavenly Light being an incredibly effective weapon against Horcruxes.
Optional Inclusions:
- Hazel infusing her Patronus with Heavenly Light, so that it is actually capable of killing Dementors when it gores them.
- The Perverted Trio becoming Hazel’s new favorite target for pranks upon arriving at Kuoh.
Forbidden Things:
- Hazel possessing a Sacred Gear… Unless it’s one she gets from Azazel.
- Hazel the Weak Emo Doormat. She gets to start off as a mid-class Angel, folks.

Complications
- Destiny: Due to the way in which her fate twisted, Hazel is now bound by a prophecy which says she is the only one who can possibly defeat the Dark Lord known as Voldemort. The problem with this is that her only reason to do such a thing is because the man made a half-dozen Horcruxes, and could have even gotten seven, if Hazel's body hadn't been toxic for the soul shard.
- Honor: Hazel will always keep her word, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in her dealings.
- Motivation: Protector: There are two things which will cause Hazel to ignore her pacifistic tendencies. The first is the creation of a Horcrux. The second, is for her to discover that an innocent life is in danger, especially if that innocent possesses a talent for art, theater or music.
- Pacifist: While Hazel knows how to fight, and will do so if she really has no other choice in the matter, she much prefers to avoid the use of violence whenever possible. This is actually a quality that is shared by almost the entire Lillend population.
- Prejudice: The Lillend aren't exactly the most popular members of the Angelic Hierarchy due to the fact that Samael was a male member of their subspecies. And yet, the Lillend still make up a vast portion of the Heavenly Choir due to their fondness for music.
- Quirk: Hazel refuses to acknowledge Issei as an artist until he can create art that is "Fun for the Whole Family."
- Trait of Consequence: Hazel's Bardic Immunity advantage applies only when she is traveling through a region where the population has an Indifferent or better attitude in regards to the Heaven Faction, and where they recognize her as being a member of said Faction. It is therefore, of little to no use in Wizarding Britain.

Child of Lir Brainstorm & Notes

Child of Lir
Premise: Witches and Wizards thought they were at the top of the supernatural food chain. They thought they had mastered nature and every form of magical creature. They were wrong, oh so very wrong. And yet, into this world was born a child who could master those creatures that even Devils and Angels dread.
Required Inclusions:
- Caelan Ashling Potter is the daughter of the Celtic deity known as Manannan Mac Lir (who is often conflated with his father, the Primordial deity known only as Lir).
- Manannan must have possessed James’ body, though only with the latter’s consent, prior to the conception of Caelan, and therefore she is a Celtic Demigoddess.
- This fic must be at least partially crossed with Irish Mythology, but primarily crossed with High School DxD, with Caelan possessing a strong affinity towards the oceanic depths.
- Caelan must instinctively know how to swim from a very young age, and be capable of surviving for extended periods while underwater.
- Caelan’s baseline powers should be similar to those of an Atlantean from DC Comics.
- All romantic pairings are permissible, but please for the love of all that is beautiful, make it so that Issei has to get over his perversity if he wants to have a chance with Caelan.
- All moral and ethical alignments are permitted for the purposes of this fic.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Godric Gryffindor’s Sword is actually Fragarach, which explains why Caelan got bitten by the Basilisk while trying to kill it. It also possesses a Worthiness Charm similar to Mjolnir.
- Caelan being required to take multiple spouses, although they don’t need to be male due to the existence of certain potions, in order to ensure her Hereditary Lineages don’t die out.
- Caelan having a Kyogre as her Familiar and making use of it during the Second Task of the Triwizard Tournament. She can also have a secondary Cait Sith familiar.
Optional Inclusions:
- One or both Delacour sisters being Demigoddesses, though which pantheon they are from is up to the author’s discretion.
- Caelan having a younger mortal half sister via Lily, who has a major crush on her elder sister.

Complications
- Hatred: A long time ago, Tiamat fell in love with a crimson dragon. Then, that dragon stole a significant portion of her treasure horde and promptly got it destroyed in his epic showdown with a white dragon. Now, Tiamat wants nothing better than to slaughter each and every person known to wield the crimson dragon's prison. You might say she's a bit yandere.
- Mistaken Identity: Tiamat has absolutely no idea how she fell asleep in Romania, and woke up in an approximation of the Colosseum that seems to be located in the Scottish Highlands. What truly confused Tiamat though, was the nest of dragon eggs located in her immediate proximity.
- Motivation: Thrills: Tiamat lives to enjoy herself, and is not averse to sleeping for centuries if only to take some time off from her utterly endless lifespan.
- Responsibility: Tiamat is the official referee for the Rating Game System that is employed by the Devils of the Underworld. Normally she only has to watch the security monitors to ensure everything is operating smoothly, but occasionally she has to actually interfere in the matches, and in those cases her own life is in danger.
- Weakness: Tiamat is Resistance Disabled against Dragon Slaying weapons.

Alyssa Potter, Witch & Exorcist
Premise: The night Alyssa Potter became an orphan, she vanished from her crib before anyone could find her. She would not be seen again by members of the British magical community for quite a long while.
Required Inclusions:
- This fic must be a crossover with High School DxD, although elements borrowed from Fate/Stay Night are permissible.
- As a baby, Alyssa Potter must be whisked away from Godric’s Hollow after Voldemort’s attack before either Sirius, Hagrid or Snape arrive at the scene.
- Alyssa is to be placed in the care of a Church sponsored orphanage in Italy, if not Rome itself, preferably in close proximity to Sicily.
- Alyssa’s survival of the Killing Curse is due to a combination of Gabriel Seraph’s intervention and her mother’s loving sacrifice. Due to these facts, the Horcrux did not take hold (no scar).
- Alyssa must test positive as a natural Holy Sword wielder and be trained in their use from a young age, and her maternal family should be famous for having produced several Exorcists.
- Alyssa being a member of the Assembly of the Eighth Sacrament, which is why she can both use Wizarding Magic, and why she would be allowed to take a romantic partner.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Alyssa being educated at Beauxbatons instead of Hogwarts due to the proximity to Rome.
- Alyssa being romantically paired with one or more of the following: Fleur Delacour, Shidou Irina and/or Asia Argento.
- Alyssa possessing a rare and/or powerful magical creature as a familiar.
- Gabriel having been named as Alyssa’s godmother, and therefore having rights to her custody.

Complications
- Destiny: According to Albus Dumbledore, there is a prophecy which states that Alyssa is the only one who is capable of defeating the Dark Lord Voldemort. Alyssa's godmother is still looking into whether there is any validity to his claims.
- Guy Magnet: Alyssa is an extremely attractive girl. This means there are several boys who would happily fight over her if she even so much as glances in their direction. The most annoying of these individuals are Hyoudou Issei and his two perverted friends.

- Power Loss: Alyssa's Judgement and Verdict powers can only be used while she is actively engaged in battle with someone.
- Relationship: Alyssa is the goddaughter of the Seraph commonly known as Gabriel. Furthermore, she was raised by the Executor known as Griselda Quarta, and considers Xenovia Quarta to be like her very own sister.
- Significant Others: Alyssa is romantically involved with both her fellow executor, Shidou Irina, as well as her Senpai at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Fleur Delacour. Both of whom she is involved with due to the need for her to have heirs for the Houses of Peverell & Potter, as well as her general disinterest in boys, even if she might agree to humoring Irina's interest in Hyoudou Issei.

In my opinion you are too hard on yourself and keep pushing to fix every little detail, but that's how you are. Perhaps watching new anime or read new manga would give you new fandoms to try and expand your horizon?

I Want To Live
Premise: “I want to live my life / The choice is mine, I've made up my mind / Now, I'm free to start again / The way I want to live (to live) and breathe (and breathe) / The way I want that's right for me / I may not know nothing else / But I know this, I want to live”
Required Inclusions:
- Rhoda Potter must realize that she will never be happy if she remains in Wizarding Britain after the defeat of Voldemort, and must subsequently leave in order to make her own life.
- Rhoda must eventually find her way to Kuoh Town and be present during the events of the Peace Treaty, allowing her to aid the defenders in protecting the town.
- As a result of her actions, and because of the fact that she is willing to sacrifice her own life in order to defend even just one person, Rhoda must be offered a place in the Heaven Faction.
- Rhoda must be a Metamorphmagus who upon becoming an angel, will prefer attractive blonde and blue eyed form, instead of her original brunette and green eyed appearance.
- Rhoda must have an affinity towards Ice and Water as an element, which allows her to make Spears of Holy Ice instead of the much more mundane Spears of Light.
- Rhoda can have any ethical alignment, but must have a Good moral alignment.
- Rhoda must remain faithful to whoever she is paired with, so a harem might not work too well.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Despite having left Wizarding Britain, Rhoda should still keep in touch with a few people from that society, such as George Weasley, Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom.
- Rhoda being romantically paired with either Gabriel of the Seraph, Yasaka of Kyoto, or Serafall Leviathan. If there is to be a harem, then have it involve Gabriel and Serafall.
- Rhoda actually arriving earlier than the Peace Treaty and involving herself in either the battle with Raynare, or the one with Kokabiel.
Optional Inclusions:
- Rhoda asking George to create a solution to Dress Break for her, and having him actually succeed in doing just that, even if it probably only works for the original version of the spell.
- Rhoda actually being the Queen of Spades, or in other words, Michael’s Queen.
Forbidden Things:
- Rhoda being romantically paired with Hyoudou Issei.
