Complications
- Hatred: Corum absolutely despises both the inhabitants of the surface world, and any inhabitant of Atlantis whose physical appearance has been mutated in such a manner as to cause them to resemble a fish or other aquatic animal.
- Nemesis: Corum's reign as the King of Poseidonis is constantly being called into question by Reverend Mother Cetea of the Widowhood, one of Atlantis' most sacred organizations (Who seem to be very badly disguised Bene Gesserit clones), as well as the monarchs of the neighboring kingdoms.
- Obsession: Corum is obsessed with eradicating the Seachanged Atlanteans, as he feels that when an Atlantean acquires fish-like characteristics they've lost all pride in their nation and therefore any right to live. Ironically, his necromantic transformation gives him the exact same characteristics he loathes, but makes him too stupid to realize the hypocrisy it forces him to perform.
- Relationships: Corum was the threat that caused Princess T'Lollih Poseidonia Duthea to be sent to the surface world, where she would be found and eventually adopted by John and Amy Evans, gaining the name of Lily Evans. In a twisted manner of speaking, he is also the reason why Hyacinth Potter was born with a power that Voldemort "knows not."
- Weakness: Corum has all the normal weaknesses you'd expect a fish to possess. This is due to his status as a "Lowborn Atlantean."

Build Comments: This guy's stat block was modeled on Gamebook's Ocean Master stat block for the simple reason that there is in fact a whole lot of overlap between these two characters in the Prime Earth world setting. The main difference between them is that Ocean Master is a legitimate member of the royal family of Poseidonis, where as Corum Rath most certainly is not.

With that said, Corum was the most viable candidate for a canonical villain who could have been responsible for Hyacinth's mother being sent to the surface world by her grandparents. The largest hurdle that I ran into was the chronology involved, but considering that there is sufficient evidence to support the notion that multiple Atlantean Kings have been known as "Orin", I simply made Corum a contemporary of Voldemort.

Complications
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore has been a pain in Voldemort's rear end since the day they first met all the way back when Voldemort was an 11 year old orphan known only as Tom Riddle. Dumbledore will either already be present or show up soon after Voldemort arrives on any given battlefield and the two will wind up dueling to a standstill. The truly galling thing about this, is that Dumbledore prefers to use charms and transfiguration spells, the majority of which are intrinsically nonlethal. So while Dumbledore might consider himself to be Voldemort's enemy, Voldemort himself considers Dumbledore to be an overly powerful gadfly.
- Obsession: With killing Hyacinth Potter so that she can no longer be a threat to his immortality.
- Relationships: Voldemort will most certainly not be having romantic interludes with any of his Death Eaters in this scenario.
- Thanatophobia: Voldemort has an irrational fear of everyone's favorite member of the Endless ("I've Sirius-Lee gotten a whole lot nicer since meeting those three brothers, so why is everyone still afraid of me?" ... "Death, did you just use two name puns at the same time?" ... "Possib-Lee?")
- Weakness: It is extremely painful for Voldemort to enter the mind of someone who is feeling an overabundance of love, which is why he hasn't had much success with invading Hyacinth's mind since she was a first year at Hogwarts. It is also just as painful for him to use Power of Possession on such a person.

New House Rule for the Attractive Advantage

This advantage will now be divided into two different forms when given a single rank, with 2 ranks giving access to both of those forms. This is detailed below:

- Attractive 1a: the person who knows how to flirt and wheedle their way through (These are characters like Dinah Laurel Lance & Barbara Gordon)
- Attractive 1b: the person who walks into a room and catches people's eye, without particularly trying (These are characters like Mary Jane Watson, Harry Potter or Jean Grey)
- Attractive 2: the person who walks into a room and catches people's eye, without particularly trying BUT ALSO knows how to flirt and wheedle their way through. This pretty much is the person who knows how to walk into a room and immediately capture every eye (These are characters like Emma Frost & Catwoman)

I also decided to stop using the White Knight, and Badgirl/Badboy advantages due to their circumstance bonus overlapping with the Attractive advantage and therefore being invalidated by it. The same can be said for the Favored Type advantage.

Premise: “Hey Youngblood doesn't it feel like our time is running out / I'm going to change you like a remix / Then I'll raise you like a phoenix / Wearing all vintage misery / No I think it looked a little better on me / I'm going to change you like a remix / Then I'll raise you like a phoenix”
Required Inclusions:
- This fic must include a female version of Harry Potter to be known as Rosalind Potter.
- Rosalind must be a clone of Jean Grey, but how she came to be in the care of the Potters has been left open to the interpretation of the author.
- Rosalind must encounter the X-Men, who are the ones to discover that she is a clone, likely due to her resemblance to Jean as well as by way of a blood test.
- While it is permissible for Rosalind to be a potential Host for the Phoenix Force, it is important that she not be as powerful in this capacity as Jean herself happens to be.
- This isn’t so much a requirement as it is a reminder, but Rosalind had a different upbringing to Jean, so while they share the same baseline appearance, Rosalind will still likely look different.
- Rosalind must be a natural at both Occlumency and Legilimency due to her Telepathy.
- All moral and ethical alignments are permissible.
- All romantic pairings are permissible.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Rosalind being paired with a female character, with the highest preference being for X-23, one or more of the Stepford Cuckoos, Wanda Maximoff (Evo Version), or the author’s favorite witch.
- The story occurring before Jean ‘dies’ in the comics, with Rosalind getting along better with Emma Frost (who could even be another pairing option) than she does with Jean.
- Rosalind getting tattoos, piercings and dressing in a remarkably punkish manner so as to differentiate herself from her genetic template (Jean Grey).

Complications
- Enemy: The Dark Lord known as Voldemort has made regular attempts to kill Rosalind, all of which have been the result of his flawed understanding of a prophecy that if he knew the entirety of might have led him to simply leave Rosalind alone. Sadly, Rosalind now realizes that she will eventually have to deal with him on a permanent basis if she wishes to have any peace in her life.
- Honor: While Rosalind could conceivably use her Telepathy to take control of someone else's mind and therefore their body, she has sworn to herself that she will never do such a thing, as it is far too similar to using the Imperius Curse on someone, and that is something she'd rather not have to do as well.
- Impulsive: Rosalind is a tempestuous young lady, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when she is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Rosalind is highly motivated to use her powers to protect others. She willingly puts herself at risk to defend innocents and those she cares about.
- Phoenix Spark: Rosalind is one of several redheads who have the potential to become the next Host for the Phoenix Force, which is an event that tends to be one of the worst things that can happen to someone, even if it does grant that person incomprehensible superpowers. This is represented by the Holding Back advantage.
- Prejudice: While Rosalind isn't technically a mutant (she's actually what is known as a mutate), the fact remains that most people will regard her as a mutant simply because she is almost identical, in both appearance and her power suite, to one of the most recognizable mutants in the entire world. Unfortunately, most people tend not to like mutants very much, and the Dursley family of Little Whinging dislike mutants even more than they do witches and wizards!
- Relationships: Rosalind is the oldest of Jean Grey's clone, a fact which has the two of them considering each other to be more akin to sisters than anything else now that they know each other. She is also, by adoption, the daughter of the late James and Lily Potter, and now the Head of the House of Potter, as well as the Regent for the House of Black, which would make her one of the most influential people in Wizarding Britain if not for the fact that she is at odds with almost the entire Pure-Blood community due to their general alliance with Voldemort.

Build Comments: Ordinarily I would rate an immunity to Mind Reading as a 2 point immunity (Uncommon), but in a setting where Telepathy is as common as it is in the X-Men comics, it suddenly becomes as costly as any damage effect immunity would be.

It is also worth noting that an immunity to mind reading only stops the Mind Reading power effect, so it won't do anything like stopping someone from using Telepathic Communication to talk to Rosalind, or prevent Cerebro from locating her. Unfortunately, that means it also won't stop Will-resisted Afflictions, such as the Imperius Curse.

The Hexfyre Exploits
Required Inclusions:
- This fic must involve a female version of Harry Potter, who will be known as Aster Potter.
- Aster must have been bound in a marriage contract with Princess Komand’r of the planet known as Tamaran, which is also the planet that Aster’s mother was from (see below).
- Lily must have been a Tamaranean Noble who came to Earth as an ambassador of sorts, and who had the name of "Lilin of House Ados." Meaning that Aster’s true name is “Astar of House Ados.”
- Aster isn’t allowed to discover the marriage contract until her second year at Hogwarts ends, at the earliest. Conversely, she must discover it no later than the end of her fifth year.
- Despite the fact that only Komand’r is betrothed to Aster, Koriand’r and her team, the Teen Titans, must play a huge role in helping Aster connect with her seemingly oblivious betrothed.
- Aster must discover that she also has to take a bride for each of the houses that she is the heiress or head of on Earth, in addition to being the bride of the monarch of Tamaran.
- House Peverell and Potter must be considered a single House for pairing purposes.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Aster having inherited a Metamorphic talent from her father’s side of the family in order to aid her in fulfilling certain requirements of the aforementioned marriage contract.
- Aster, Komand’r and whoever else they are paired with setting up an equivalent to the Teen Titans that operates out of London and which has jurisdiction in the wider galaxy as well.
- Final pairing being Aster / Komand’r (Tamaran) / Astoria (Black) / Zatanna (Potter / Peverell)
- Any girls in the pairing who aren't capable of magic being given access to Hogwarts so as to be closer to Aster.
Optional Inclusions:
- Magic having been mixed into Aster’s Star Energy allowing her to project it the same way as Komand’r and Koriand’r do, despite the fact that other Tamaraneans aren’t usually capable of it.
- Daphne teaching each of the girls who are capable of magic how to perform her favorite spell.
Forbidden Things:
- Aster winding up romantically paired with a male character.

This has little to no effect on her ability to sense magic, utilize her Wizarding spells, or absorb languages.
- Relationship: Aster is the betrothed of Komand'r, the Crown Princess of Tamaran, as well as the heiress to the Houses of Black and Potter, the latter two of which will require her to seek consorts to carry on those lines. Surprisingly enough, because of her metamorphmagus abilities, Aster does not require a male consort, which is good, as she is not interested in boys in that way.
- Transformation: Aster has not yet undergone the Tamaranean form of puberty known as the "Transformation." Yes, this is a complication, but one which has far greater rewards than a simple Hero Point.

- Motivation: Responsibility: Komand'r views it as her personal responsibility to look out for the best interests of her people. Unfortunately, sometimes looking out for the best interests of her people means that she has to do things that might seem cruel to those who she truly cares about.
- Power Loss: If Komand'r is unable to absorb sunlight for significant period of time, her Dark Star Energy and Racial powers will fade, and her STR and STA will begin lowering until they reach a rank of 3. Her powers are also reliant on her emotions, and effects which destabilize those emotions can hinder her powers to some degree.
- Relationship: Initially, Komand'r was unaware that she had been betrothed to Aster Potter when the two were very young, and is still somewhat unsure what she thinks about the entire deal, especially seeing as how she will apparently have to share Aster with others, which is something that bothers Komand'r just a bit.
- Rivalry: Komand'r and her younger sister, Koriand'r are in a near constant state of rivalry for reasons that might seem childish to other people, but in reality are really important, as the two sisters are actually in opposition on what they truly believe is in the best interests of their people.

Required Inclusions:
- Saga Potter’s real parents are the Asgardian deities Odin Borson and Freyja Freyrdottir, with Saga having been given one of Freyja’s bynames as her personal name.
- While Saga is technically an Asgardian Deity in her own right, her powers have been restricted to the level of an Asgardian Demigod for whatever reason the author decides on.
- At some point, Saga’s quasi-divine nature must be a factor in one or more of her many adventures, leading to her discovering who and what she really is.
- With the exception of Neville, Fred & George, Sagas friends and allies must turn on her at some point during the course of the story. Whether this is permanent or not is up to the author.
- Any romantic pairings are up to the author to decide, but whomever is chosen needs to have Asgardian-class longevity, or else be granted such longevity by the reigning Allfather.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Saga having been given to the Potters to raise as a boon when it is discovered that James is infertile, as the family has long since been an ally of Asgard.

Complications
- Accident: Saga's full Asgardian strength had been sealed behind powerful binding spells that were forcibly released the moment she touched her sword for the first time in the moments preceding her attempt at the Triwizard Tournament's First Task. She still hasn't gotten used to her increased physical prowess and has a tendency to cause things to bend, break, shatter or tear whenever she tries to interact with them, open them or even touch them. Fortunately, this seems to only apply to inanimate objects (and oddly enough, her wand seems to be immune to such accidents).
- Destiny: The Norns have decreed that Saga must one day face the Dark Lord known as Voldemort in a contest of single combat, where only one of them gets to walk away with their life. They have not specified a victor, nor have they forbidden Saga or her loved ones from making conditions on the battlefield as favorable for Saga as they could ever possibly become.
- Enemy: When Saga touched her sword for the first time, it didn't just release the binding spells that had been placed upon her, it informed her that such bindings would require a thorough understanding of Asgardian physiology, and that while James and Lily Potter had such knowledge, neither would create such a binding spell. Therefore, whoever ceated the binding was to be considered an enemy.
- Honor: Saga is very honorable, and will always attempt to do the right thing in any given situation, even if doing the right thing requires her to break something... like one of that greasy pervert's femurs, for example. It's not Saga's fault she looks a great deal like her foster mother, is it?
- Impulsive: Saga tends to prioritize the lives of others ahead of her own, meaning that she is fully willing to engage an enemy she can't possibly defeat in battle, just so she might have a small possibility of saving some innocent's life.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Upon awakening her Asgardian nature, Saga discovered that what she once thought to be nothing more than a minor interest in poetry and music, was in reality her quasi-divine nature trying to escape the bindings. Saga is what in Asgard would be referred to as a Skald, a Warrior Poet, and is responsible for accompanying other Asgardians on their adventures so that their exploits can be recounted in the feasting halls of Asgard after they are completed. She is also responsible for inspiring those same warriors to greater heights of heroism while pursuing those same adventures.
- Relationship: Saga is the youngest of Odin Borson and Freyja Freyrdottir's children, and also the foster daughter of James and Lily Potter. Unfortunately, James and Lily were killed when Saga was still just a toddler, and due to circumstances outside of the control of her true parents, Saga grew up in an unloving home. She is also now the heiress to the House of Black due to the new Lord Black naming her his sole heir.

The Good Life Brainstorm & Notes

The Good Life
Premise: “All I want / Is a little of the good life / All I need / Is to have a good time / Oh / The good life / All I want / Is a little of the good life / All I need / Is to have a good time / The good life (The good life)”
Required Inclusions:
- Laura Potter must in reality be the daughter of Lily Potter (née Evans) and Logan Howlett instead of being the daughter of Lily and James Potter.
- Logan must be completely unaware of the fact that he is Laura’s father.
- Laura Potter must have the same power suite, appearance and general backstory as Laura Kinney would have in the canonical comics, meaning that Vernon does something abysmal.
- The abysmal thing that Vernon does is to give Laura to the Facility, where she undergoes heavy experimentation to make her into an ideal assassin for the Weapon-X Program.
- When Logan finally discovers Laura’s existence, he must demonstrably care about her.
- The Wizarding World must either be unaware of the existence of mutants, or else they must consider them to be a muggle problem.
- Laura must be the only mutant present at Hogwarts during any period of time when she is actively attending the school.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Laura being the result of a drunken one-night stand between Lily and Logan, with James simply being ecstatic enough to be having a daughter that he doesn’t care who the father is.
- Laura being paired with one or more of the following: A mutant of the author’s choice, Fleur Delacour or Nymphadora “Oi!” Tonks.
- Even if not paired with either of them, Laura’s relationship with Jubilee and Gambit from the comics should be retained.
Optional Inclusions:
- Laura either escaping from the Facility, or else being rescued by either Wolverine himself, the Order of the Phoenix, or the X-Men as a whole.

Complications
- Destiny: It is Laura's destiny to be the one who ultimately defeats, or is defeated by, the Dark Lord styling himself as Voldemort.
- Impulsive: Laura is a tempestuous young woman, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when she is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about
- Lose Control: Laura has been subjected to conditioning which can cause her to enter a blind berserker rage whenever she is exposed to a triggering scent. These rages will last until she has killed whoever it is that was marked with the triggering pheromone. Most often she will only kill the person who has been so marked, but occasionally she'll begin targeting anyone near that person. It is however, possible for her to resist this effect if she succeeds on a DC 16 Will Check.
- Motivation: Protector: Despite her desire to seek vengeance on all those who have wronged her, Laura also has no wish to place those who are innocent in harms way, and will even go out of her way to ensure that the innocent are protected whenever and wherever she can.
- Relationship: Laura is the daughter of James Howlett (commonly known only as Logan) and Lily Potter (née Evans), with James Potter serving as her adoptive father. Furthermore, she is the goddaughter of Sirius Orion Black and Alice Longbottom, which makes her the godsister of Neville Longbottom.
- Temper: Laura blames her father (no, not James Potter) for HYDRA getting the idea to put her through the Weapon-X program, and as such feels that she is fully justified in kicking his arse to kingdom come. That said, she also doesn't want her father to die, and will try to prevent him from being targeted by HYDRA because of her actions. Lastly, she dislikes being called 'child' or 'kid' because it reminds her of the childhood she most definitely did not have.
- Weakness: Power Effects that don't actually deal damage to Laura cannot be healed using her accelerated healing factor, which means that binds, snares and age accelerators tend to be her undoing in battle.

Required Inclusions:
- The Emoticlone commonly known as Rage, must somehow escape from Raven’s mind and manifest in the real world (how this is done is up to the author).
- Rage’s absence must cause changes in Raven that leads to her seeking Rage out so as forcibly return her to the interior of her mindscape.
- Before being pulled back into Raven’s mindscape, Rage must somehow be involved in the birth of Lyssa Potter, becoming her parent in some manner.
- Rage must know about Lyssa’s existence, but somehow succeed in keeping the girl a secret from Raven and the other Emoticlones until Raven actually encounters Lyssa.
- Lyssa must encounter Raven sometime after her second year at Hogwarts, but before her fifth year at the same school.
- Despite only Rage being involved in Lyssa’s birth, Raven must still see Lyssa as her own child.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Rage having traveled back in time (that is something Raven can do) and subsequently posing as Lily Potter (née Evans) long enough to be Lyssa’s actual mother.
- Back in the present, Lyssa is actually the same age as Raven, leading to awkwardness when Raven tries to act as Lyssa’s maternal figure.
- There actually being something that causes members of Raven and Lyssa’s species to become romantically interested in their offspring, though the reverse isn’t always true.

Complications
- Destiny: Lyssa is apparently the only one who can possibly defeat the Dark Lord calling himself Voldemort. The problem is, people expect Lyssa to play by the Light Faction's rules while she goes about defeating him, and she simply won't do such a thing, because she is in fact, a Dark Witch.
- Honor: Lyssa will steadfastly refuse to use her offensive powers on someone who is innocent of any wrongdoing.
- Motivation: Protector: Lyssa is highly motivated to use her powers to protect others. She willingly puts herself at risk to defend innocents and those she cares about.
- Relationship: Lyssa is the daughter of Rachel Roth via her Rage Emoticlone, who had been living a life as Lily Potter (née Evans) when Lyssa was born. This was possible due to Rachel having the ability to time travel.
- Temper: Lyssa is known to have a remarkably short temper, so much so in fact, that there are those who consider her a Dark Witch simply because of her anger management issues.
- Weakness: Lyssa counts as both a Human and a Native Outsider for purposes of determining how spells interact with her.
