Complications
- Conditional Ownership: Harry's ownership of Lævateinn is contested, and it is possible for the sword to be summoned by the other Loki while Harry is actively using it in battle, which could cause all manner of problems for the young hero, such as trying to block an enemy's sword with a nonexistent weapon!
- Destiny: It is Harry's destiny to be the one that ultimately vanquishes the dark wizard who styles himself as "Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word of honor, but rarely gives it, and strives to uphold the common good in all that he does.
- Impulsive: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by people who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore is attempting to sculpt Harry into a sacrificial lamb that he can throw at Voldemort in hopes that Harry's death will act as catalyst that will allow the old man to swoop in and defeat Tom once and for all. Defeat, but certainly not vanquish!
- Rivalry: Harry views Loki Laufeyson as an imposter, which is also what Loki considers Harry to be. This means that the two are in a near constant state of rivalry with one another, even if neither is truly willing to escalate things beyond to an all out declaration of war as they are both content to settle things with pranks.
- Significant Other: Harry is trying to figure out the best way in which to liberate his Godfather, Sirius Orion Black, from his longstanding exile from Wizarding Society.
- Weakness: Harry suffers from an automatic degree of effect when exposed to fire damage or extreme heat.

Prince of Asgard Brainstorm & Notes

Prince of Asgard
Premise: Once upon a time, a human wizard saved the life of a very powerful visitor from beyond Earth’s stars. Several centuries later, that visitor returned to Earth and blessed his savior’s descendants with the privilege of raising his youngest son. Then, a foul and loathsome man tried to ruin everything… sound familiar?
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must actually be the youngest son of the Alföðr of Ásgarðr, Haraldr Óðinson.
- Harry’s divine domain should cover the concepts of Knowledge and Spirit, meaning that he is effectively the new Varðlokkur of Ásgarðr, or their Guardian of Knowledge.
- Óðinn must allow James and Lily to raise Harry due to the fact that Lily had been rendered infertile after being struck with a curse in the abdomen.
- Óðinn must collect Harry and return him to Ásgarðr to be raised among his own people after his foster parents are killed by Voldemort.
- Harry must get along better with Loki than he does with Þórr, despite still having a decent enough relationship with his elder brother, due to the similarities between their domains.
- Harry’s name must eventually come out of the Goblet of Fire, forcing him to return to Earth in order to determine the cause of this disturbance and to deal with Voldemort once and for all.
Preferred Inclusions:
- While Dumbledore’s stance on forgiveness will probably rub the Æsir royal family the wrong way, he should still be portrayed as a generally benevolent, if misguided, individual.
- Harry should form a romantic bond with one or more of the following individuals: Astoria Greengrass, Gabrielle Delacour, Amora the Enchantress and/or Wanda Maximoff.
- Harry should have access to a weapon forged from Uru metal that serves the dual purpose of being a martial implement as well as a magical focus.
Optional Inclusions:
- Veela should have strong ties with the Light Elves, and could even be a subspecies thereof.
- Harry could somehow succeed in uniting the Deathly Hallows, thereby becoming “His Sister’s Keeper.” This doesn’t necessarily imply a romantic bond.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry the Malevolent Emo Doormat.

- Significant Other: Harry is romantically involved with a young Ásynja known as Iðunn Ívaldsdóttir, although she'll usually introduce herself as the "Lady Amora of Asgard" since she wants to avoid having people mistake her for Iðunn Njarðardóttir.

The Beckoning Tides Brainstorm & Notes

The Beckoning Tides
Premise: From the depths of time rises a prophecy foretold in salt and sea - a child born of land, water and magic shall rise up to unite the world; or else to drown it in chaos. “The tide beckons Mister Potter, and not even you can escape its pull…”
Required Inclusions:
- Lily Evans must have been a High Born Atlantean from Poseidonis who wound up in the care of the Evans family after fleeing Atlantis due to an attack on the Royal Palace.
- Lily and her son, Harry, must attend Hogwarts due to the fact that they are both capable of using the magic of Atlantis as well as the Magical Humans who dwell on the surface.
- Harry must be a Highborn Atlantean Hybrid, with the other half of his heritage being that of a Highborn Magical Human, giving him a number of abilities that other Atlanteans lack.
- Harry must discover one of those abilities, in this case Animal Dialogue (Aquatic), while on a visit to the Surrey Zoo with the Dursley family.
- Harry’s other powers must include those which are typically found in Highborn Atlanteans, as well as an affinity for Hydrokinesis and Electrokinesis.
- This fic must be set in an alternate continuity to the one which was featured in the recent Aquaman movie, and thus may not feature certain characters from that movie.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should eventually seek out a Queen to rule at his side within the Kingdom of Atlantis, but this shouldn’t happen until his fourth year at Hogwarts at the absolute earliest.
- The fic should start with Harry being informed of his Atlantean Heritage by none other than Fleur Delacour, who is actually a Highborn Veela, which makes her an “enemy” of Atlantis.
- This fic should include at least a few cameos from members of the Justice League, although the author is also allowed to make the story a full crossover with DC Comics.
Optional Inclusions:
- A few of Harry’s Ladies could undergo a process that allows them to survive underwater.
- Harry could, with Fleur’s help, secure a treatment for the scar on his forehead that removes the Horcrux before he ever has to deal with Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest.

- Following the plot of the DCEU, although Wonder Woman is still viable.
- Harry becoming romantically involved with a male character.

The last three stat blocks were an attempt to show that most Teen Titans villains can be built using the "Jobber" archetype from the new Deluxe Gamemaster's Guide, as I wanted to experiment a little with that before getting to my next idea.
