Complications
- Motivation: Doing Good: Kara feels it is incredibly important to use her powers to defend the people who inhabit the world she has come to consider her new home.
- Responsibility: Kara is the current Den-mother for the Young Justice Team, and responsible for ensuring their mental health and well-being, as well as for keeping the food stores stocked with sufficient amounts of food to feed... well, Kid Flash at the very least.
- Shop Smart, Shop Doppelmart: While this complication isn't as obvious as it usually is due to Kara's hair style, the fact remains that she is one of the single most duplicated characters in the DC Universe, and will occasionally run into her doppelgangers.
- Temper: Do not compare Kara's bustline to those belonging to her girlfriends if you wish to avoid her wrath. She also greatly dislikes being told what to do, especially when it is her elder cousin who is dictating the terms.
- Weakness: Kara suffers all the same effects as any other Kryptonian would whenever she is exposed to the radiation coming from the meteor rocks that accompanied her cousin, Kal-El, to Earth. However, thanks to her bond with the Flamebird, she doesn't lose her powers when deprived of yellow solar energy extended periods of time, or when exposed to red solar energy.

Complications
- Bane: Fleur's Garden of the Vohc power is treated as though it were an object with a Toughness value of 15 (the same value as Titanium) for purposes of determining how long it would take the Flamebird's avatar to "destroy" the garden using her Wrath of the Flamebird power; provided of course, that Flamebird's Avatar can safely reach the garden's central nexus point.
- Hatred: Fleur absolutely despises William Weasley for the simple reason that she caught him in bed with another woman about a week after he had given her a daughter. She also doesn't particularly like his mother or sister due to their tendency to belittle and demean her simply because of her species.
- Motivation: Protector: Fleur's most cherished creation, the thing she would do anything to protect from the Flamebird's wrath, is her daughter, Victoire Weasley.
- Mythic Weakness: Damage inflicted upon Fleur by Wrought Iron weaponry is considered to be Incurable, as per the Extra of the same name.

Build Comments: The primary reason I built a stat block for Victoire, is so I actually have a toughness value for her in case there ever is a situation where Kara decides to use the Wrath of the Flamebird power on the poor girl (As horrifying a thought as that may be). It's also useful to have her stat block in case I ever need to deal with the dastardly exploits of one, Jervis Tetch.

Also, anyone who says a baby wouldn't have access to the skills and advantages I gave Victoire, has obviously never interacted with a baby. The defensive roll one is possibly pushing things, I grant you, but the others, even Stealth, totally make sense.

Premise: In order to allow her the chance to grow up without the discrimination against her race, a young White Martian's parents sent the girl to Earth where she was swiftly adopted by Lily and James Potter.
Required Inclusions:
- Marlene’s birth parents must leave her a mental message to be received on her 11th birthday.
- In addition to the typical Martian superpowers, Marlene must possess an affinity for magic, although the author is free to determine how this is accomplished.
- Marlene must encounter Rachel Roth at some point prior to her 11th birthday, with Raven being around Marlene’s age, and helping the girl explore her magic and psionic abilities.
- Marlene and Raven must be acting as superheroes by the time they reach their 16th birthdays, with Marlene assisting Raven when it comes time to deal with the latter’s father.
- Two members of the Justice League must approach the girls and offer them a place on the Young Justice Team at around the same point in time when Artemis would join the Team.
- Due to their darker natures, both Marlene and Raven must be somewhat more vicious towards criminals than the other heroes on the Team.
- Martians must reach physical & mental maturity at the same rate as humans, but as a society, they tend to wait until they’re about fifty years old before declaring themselves “Adults.”
Preferred Inclusions:
- The preferred romantic pairing is one that involves Raven and/or Miss Martian.
- The author is advised to have Marlene run away from the Dursley family after she first encounters Raven, with the two living on their own for a few years before meeting the Team.
- The author should have Marlene and Raven refuse to attend Hogwarts after sensing some unpleasant emotions wafting off of Dumbledore or Snape, one of whom delivers their letter.
- Marlene and/or Raven should leave one or more of their Arch-Enemies in a permanent coma.

Mistress of the Mystic Arts Brainstorm & Notes

Mistress of the Mystic Arts
Premise: Elain Potter finds herself stumbling upon a world of magic and wonder one day while trying to escape from the Dursley family, only it isn’t the world of magic and wonder she was originally destined to discover on her eleventh birthday.
Required Inclusions:
- Elain’s moral and ethical alignment must fall in line with that of the Ancient One.
- Elain must be powerful, although she need not be god-like.
- Elain must stumble upon the London Sanctum Sanctorum at some point prior to when she would have received her Hogwarts Letter, leading to her being taught magic in Kamar-Taj.
- Elain must still defeat Voldemort, due to the fact that he is still a major mystical threat and therefore something that the Masters of the Mystic Arts are supposed to deal with.
- Either the Ancient One, Wong or Mordo must be the person who is primarily responsible for raising and training Elain in the ways of the Mystic Arts.
- Elain’s mastery of the Mystic Arts must be such that she frightens and amazes the inhabitants of Wizarding Britain due to just how vast the gulf between the two disciplines is.
- Elain must learn how to cast either the Silencing Charm or the “Spell of Silence™”.
- All romantic pairings are permissible for the purposes of this fic.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Elain taking Stephen Strange’s place within the plotline of the MCU, complete with her eventually becoming the Sorcerer Supreme of that setting.
- Elain becomes romantically involved with Clea, Dormammu’s daughter, much like how Stephen himself would have become romantically involved with Clea had he been present.
- Elain manages to turn Hogwarts itself into a new Sanctum Sanctorum at some point after her conflict with Voldemort comes to an end, basically making it the Scottish Sanctum.
Optional Inclusions:
- The Deathly Hallows were actually relics created by the Asgardian goddess known as Hela to use as a means by which to determine the worth of a prospective mate.

Ab Uno Disce Omnes
Premise: Harry Potter’s full potential would have been a wasted resource, if not for the fact that he managed to catch the attention of a certain Asgardian sorceress.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must meet Amora the Enchantress of Asgard, and become her apprentice, at some point between the end of his second year and the start of his fifth year at Hogwarts.
- This story must be set within the same universe as the recent Marvel movies.
- Amora must be more of an Anti-Hero rather than an outright villainess in this scenario, and must not be as obsessed with Thor as her canonical counterpart.
- Harry and Amora must take part in one of the movies leading up to Avengers Assemble, Avengers Assemble itself or the events surrounding the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series.
- Harry must gain the same degree of longevity as an Asgardian at some point prior to his 21st birthday, how this is accomplished is up to the author.
- Harry must befriend one or more of the following characters: Hela, the reincarnated Fenris, Sleipnir, and/or Jormungandr.

- Age: Gabi is only seven years old, and as such there are a lot of things she simply isn't allowed to do, that she would really like to be able to do, such as helping assist her beloved Harry on his more daring exploits!
- Bane: Damage inflicted upon Gabi by Wrought Iron weaponry is considered to be Incurable, as per the Extra of the same name.
- Motivation: Thrills: Gabi is a seven year old girl, and lives for the joy she can get from causing mischief and mayhem, as well as more normal pasttimes like Exploding Snap and Wizard's Chess.

Complications
- Accident: Powers with the Unreliable (Roll) flaw will still activate, as per normal, when Illyana rolls a 10 or less on the required activation check. However, she loses the ability to select both her own destination, and that of each individual passenger whenever she fails that check, meaning the power is "Uncontrolled" for the duration of that journey.
- Age: Despite the fact that Illya is legitimately a 13 year old girl, most of her commrades within the X-Men still treat her like the 6 year old girl she was when they first met her due to the fact that her change from one age to the next only took a single second worth of time, from their perspective at least.
- Cursed: Illyana's soul was removed from her body by the Sorcerer turned Demon known as Belasco. It was then split into two pieces, one of which was used in the process of creating her Soulsword, and the other was turned into a Bloodstone that can be used by whoever holds it as a means of subverting Illyana's free will, possibly even causing her to attack her loved ones.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Illyana is the Official Sorceress Supreme of Limbo, and as such is responsible for protecting that dimension from extradimensional threats. The problem with this, is that Limbo is well known for being the point of origin for invasionary forces sent to dimensions such as Earth.
- Relationship: Illyana is the precocious younger sister of Piotr Rasputin, otherwise known as Colossus. She is also relearning how to perform magic when outside of Limbo from a woman known as Amora, the Enchantress of Asgard, as without such instruction she would have been limited to the spells she is capable of casting as Darkchilde (the Demonic Magic spells), Thought-Casting and her Stepping Discs.
- Temper: Illyana is prone to childish bursts of rage that are often accompanied by a sudden transformation into her Darkchilde form and an accompanying beatdown of whatever has infuriated her. This is all a side effect of having a large chunk of her soul removed when she was merely six years old.

Build Comments: Belasco opted to replace the large chunk of Illyana's soul he removed from her body with a equally large glob of demonic energy, which is why she qualifies as being "Demon-Possessed" in this scenario. It has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not there is an actual demonic entity living inside of her, even if that sometimes does seem to be the case.

I'll also be listing Illyana's age in a different way to the other characters due to what wound up happening to her.

Oh! "Animabrand" is simply a fancy way of saying "Soulsword", and this stat block is also intended to represent Illya when she IS NOT inside of Limbo. If I were to build her Stat Block within Limbo, she'd be sitting on a Power Level of either 13 or 14, as those are the PL's I tend to assign to characters who qualify as a Sorcerer Supreme.

And I just realized I was building these stat blocks more with the intention of having Amora raise these characters, rather than having her wind up involved in the romance herself, which defeats the purpose of the original challenge. This means I likely can't continue along this idea. The age gap factor itself isn't actually as bad as it seems once Harry and the other characters reach adulthood, as Amora is herself basically unaging at this point.
