Fos tis Ææa Brainstorm & Notes

Fos tis Ææa
Premise: What if Harry Potter’s mother was not who everyone believed her to be? What if she had in fact been the powerful sorceress known as Circe? And what, if Harry had inherited far more from his maternal grandfather than anything he might have gotten from his paternal family line?
Required Inclusions:
- Circe must have done something that resulted in her being ‘cursed’ to live a mortal life as Lily Evans, and being unable to remember her true nature or use those abilities until Lily ‘dies.’
- Instead of dying properly, Lily’s death at the hands of Voldemort will simply release Circe from her captivity and grant her full knowledge of both her lives, including knowledge of her son.
- Circe must have been incapacitated long enough for Dumbledore to place Harry with the Dursley family following her supposed demise as Lily Potter.
- Circe must track down and recover her son after she regains consciousness, and must also claim the letter Dumbledore left Petunia explaining how he wants the Dursley’s to treat the boy.
- From there, Circe must take Harry to her island, where she will raise him, and teach him magic herself, instead of sending him to a Wizarding School.
- Harry must eventually be summoned to Wizarding Britain, although the mechanism for this summoning is left open to the author’s interpretation.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should inherit his maternal grandfather’s affinity for the Divine Light, which will manifest in a similar manner to the abilities possessed by one of Apollo’s Demigod children.
- Harry should be romantically paired with at least one of the following: An Amazon or Atlantean of the Author’s choice, Raven, Daphne, Fleur and/or Susan.
- Harry should be a heroic individual in spite of the fact that his mother has rather villainous tendencies; although Circe is allowed to reform herself after Harry’s birth.
Optional Inclusions:
- If Harry is paired with Daphne, then either she does not have the Blood Malediction, or someone involved in Harry’s life should know how to cure the curse.
- It is suggested that Circe and Wonder Woman (Diana) end up in a romantic relationship.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being romantically paired with a male character.

Complications
- Cultural Awkwardness: Astoria has absolutely no exposure to the muggle world, and would be prone to making horribly awkward mistakes that could even include wearing the wrong sort of clothing for important functions.
- Frail: Due to the Blood Malediction that she suffers from, Astoria is easily exhausted. At any time when she makes an Acrobatics, Athletics or other physically demanding skill check, as well as for every 5 rounds of sustained combat (even when using ranged attacks), she must simultaneously make a DC 10 Fortitude check. If she fails this check then she becomes Fatigued. Every time she uses one of the aforementioned skills within the same scene, as well as for every 5 rounds of combat within a single scene, the DC for her next Fortitude check in that same scene will increase by 1 point. Standard rules regarding additional degrees of fatigue apply.
- Impulsive: It takes a certain degree of impulsivity to use a ritual that one's family grimoire warns the reader against using, lest it get the caster killed.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Astoria wishes to make the world a better place, which is the main reason she performed the truly dangerous act of summoning a supernatural entity that may or may not have been willing to aid her in her goal. Surprisingly enough, her ritual wound up giving her access to the "Demigod Who Lived."
- Relationships: Astoria is the younger sister of Heiress Daphne Greengrass, and therefore the youngest of two children belonging to the late Elizabeth Greengrass (née Rosier), and her husband Cyrus Greengrass.

The Exiled Martian Brainstorm & Notes

The Exiled Martian
Premise: In the midst of a particularly successful coup, one Martian Royal finds herself being sent to Earth, where she is quickly found by James and Lily Potter. What will happen when the Girl Who Lived isn’t actually from the planet Earth to begin with?
Required Inclusions:
- Myra Valerie Potter must in reality be a young Red Martian by the name of M'yrall Val D'lirac.
- Myra’s birth parents, or whoever it was who sent her to Earth, must leave a telepathic message in her mind that explains who she is, and what her powers will be.
- Aside from the typical Martian abilities, Myra must also possess an affinity towards magic.
- Myra must meet and befriend Raven at some point prior to their eleventh birthdays, as they will be approximately the same age in this scenario.
- Raven must help Myra to master her Telepathic and Magical abilities.
- Myra and Raven must be acting as superheroes by the time they turn seventeen years old.
- Myra and Raven must be approached by at least two members of the Justice League who offer them a place on the YJ Team at around the same time as Artemis joins it.
- Martians must physically, mentally and emotionally age at the same rate as humans until their early twenties, and then slow to the rate described in Young Justice.
- Myra must be paired with either Raven or Miss Martian, if not both of them.
Preferred Inclusions:
- The reason Myra left the Dursley family is because they did not survive an attack on 4 Privet Drive that was executed by Death Eaters after the latter group discovered Myra’s abode.
- Myra should be the more adventurous between herself and Raven, with the latter acting more as a voice of reason, leading to massive headaches for whomever becomes their mentor.
- Myra and Raven opting not to attend Hogwarts due to the fact that they have access to far better resources for learning magic in the Azarathian Library.
Optional Inclusions:
- It has been suggested Myra and Raven alter people’s memories, rather than leaving them in comas, when they don’t want to deal with someone more than once.

Legacy of Camelot Brainstorm & Notes

Legacy of Camelot
Premise: This is a world where the line of Pendragon never truly went extinct, and where the Daughters of House Greengrass will soon discover that the same is true for at least one of the Knights of the Round Table.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be capable of tracing his maternal lineage all the way back to Tristan and the Iseult who was his wife, who are both associated with the Knights of the Round Table.
- Furthermore, the Greengrass Sisters must be capable of tracing either their maternal or paternal lineage all the way back to Artoria Pendragon herself.
- Harry and the Sisters must either possess an innate level of power that places them on the same plateau as a Servant, or acquire such power during the course of their time at Hogwarts.
- Harry and at least one of the two Greengrass sisters must travel to Fuyuki and participate in either the Fourth or Fifth Holy Grail War, which will allow them to interact with Artoria.
- In terms of Servant Class mechanics, Harry must be a Saber, while Daphne will qualify as a Caster, and Astoria as an Assassin. All three however, must retain their magic.
- Harry’s primary romantic pairing must be one of the two Greengrass sisters, although the author is allowed to pair him with both of them if that is his wish. Anyone else, is optional.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Daphne and Astoria should be related, however distantly, to Gray from the Lord El-Melloi II Case Files fandom, with the sisters being some of the only decent relatives Gray has.
- Harry should acquire a suit of armor and sword, that while not on the same level as a Noble Phantasm, will allow him to engage a Servant in battle if that is his wish.
- The Potter Group’s Servant should be Medea if they participate in the Fifth War, or a choice between Bradamante, Gareth, CasCu or Medea Lily if they participate in the Fourth War.
Optional Inclusions:
- It is suggested that this fic covered more than just the Fuyuki Grail War, in fact it would be best if the story detailed the entire Hogwarts Career of these three living Heroes.
- It is suggested that Harry’s sword, once he acquires it, be enchanted with a summoning spell.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry, Daphne and Astoria completely ignoring their family legacies.

- Power Loss: In addition to their normal effects, the Vulnerable and Defenseless conditions also strip a Troll of the Impervious value on it's Toughness score. This means that a Troll is far easier to defeat whenever it is "Surprised" by something.
- Reputation: Trolls have a reputation for being particularly unintelligent, when reality they are only a little bit less intelligent than the average adult human. The reason for this misconception is because they haven't really been given much of a chance to progress their society beyond the level of paleolithic humans.

- Motivation: Protector: Three-Headed Dogs exist for the sole purpose of guarding something, be it a person, location or object. Fluffy is no different in that regard, and the thing he is currently guarding is a trap door leading to a gauntlet of additional dangers that are all designed to protect the famous Philosopher's Stone.
- Mythic Weakness: Not only does music cause Fluffy to lose access to his immunity to sleep, but it will also immediately begin putting him to sleep. However, this form of sleep is treated as a Concentration Affliction with the Instant Recovery flaw, so you've gotta be fast if you want to make it down that trap door in one piece!

Build Comments: A plant that sulks in the sun is nonsensical to me, but having it be afraid of fire makes a whole lot more sense. This is especially true considering that Hermione used the Bluebell Flames spell when dealing with the plant in the novels, rather than whatever the heck "Lumos Solem" was supposed to be.

Clarere Audere Gaudere
Premise: What if Starfire had always had another sister? What if that sister was far more benevolent than Blackfire had proven to be? And what if she was known to Magical Britain as the “Girl Who Lived”?
Required Inclusions:
- All moral and ethical alignments are permissible for this scenario.
- Leandra must be in or approaching either her 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th years of magical education when she chances upon her true nature, which is that of a Tamaranean Highborn.
- It must be possible for the Tamaraneans of this setting to use magic, even if it is still rare for them to do such a thing, with Leandra being one of the exceptional few with that ability.
- Leandra must be fully capable of blending in among mundane humans when not in her heroine costume, which will actually wind up being slightly more modest than what Starfire wears.
- Lily and James must have adopted Leandra when she arrived on Earth, with her being named their Heiress Designate, in case they died without having a child of their own.
- At least one person that the Potter’s trusted must know the truth about Leandra’s heritage and be available to explain the situation to her once Leandra discovers her racial heritage.
- The Potter family vault must contain some remnant of Leandra’s homeworld, which can be anything from a weapon, armor, treasure or even a journal.
- Leandra must eventually return to the world of her birth, even if only to determine what the state of the planet actually is due to the fact that she’s basically never seen the world.
- All romantic pairings are permissible for this scenario.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Leandra’s Hogwarts being located within one of the animated universes associated with DC Comics, with preference being given to the Teen Titans animated series.
- Leandra’s affinity towards magic being in some way responsible for allowing her to utilize the Starbolts that are usually limited to her sisters, Komand’r and Koriand’r.
- As far as romantic pairings are concerned, it is preferred that Leandra become involved with one or more of the following: Raven, Jinx, Daphne Greengrass, and/or Gabrielle Delacour.
- The author should have the Ministry for Magic decide to classify Leandra’s Starbolts as “Hexes”, which is to say they are more severe than Jinxes, but less severe than Curses.
Optional Inclusions:
- Leandra should absolutely refuse to style her eyebrows in the manner that her sisters are known for due to how similar it is to the style worn by nobles in the Zhenyuan era of China.
- Tom or Dumbledore should forge an alliance with an otherworldly force that could pose a threat even to a Tamaranean, though perhaps not to a team of Superheroes.
