COMPLICATIONS:
Accident: Even inadvertent skin-to-skin contact can activate her powers and continued usage of them on a subject can take their powers permanently and/or incapacitate them for a long time, if not kill them.
Guilt: Rogue put a boy into a coma when they first kissed, and she's felt horrible about it ever since.
Mommy Issues: Having been adopted by Mystique when she was a child, she has feelings for her as a mother, but with all her evil deeds, she hates what she has become.
Power Loss: Rogue has to have skin-to-skin contact to utilize powers, making them useless against battlesuits, constructs, etc.
Prejudice: Mutant.
Relationships: Long running off-again, on-again relationship with Gambit, but they do truly love each other.
Responsibility: Xavier's Dream.

Abilities 44 + Skills 16 (32 ranks) + Advantages 7 + Powers 182 + Defenses 10 = 260 / 260

Build Comments: With Rogue, I sat round for a while and tried to come up with a mechanic for her powers, whipped something up, realized I forgot about the memory absorption, put that in, realized I had forgotten about the powers being limited to the subject she’s touching and then I was happy. For now, anyway.

Secret Origins: Her parents, Owen and Priscilla, married early in their relationship and lived in a back-to-nature hippie commune in Caldecott County, Mississippi. Born as Anna Marie, she also enjoyed the attentions of her Aunt Carrie, on her mother's side. Anna Marie was raised speaking colloquial English and French, common to the Mississippi bayou area. The commune's failed attempt to use Native American mysticism to reach the "Far Banks" resulted in Priscilla's disappearance. Carrie took over Anna's care, and in her grief at the loss of her sister, was a strict and authoritarian guardian. Anna Marie was a rebellious child and, at some point, the exact event or reasons still unclear, she ran away from home as a young teenager.

At some point, Rogue grew close to a boy named Cody Robbins. During their flirtation, Cody impulsively kissed her, at which point her latent mutant power to absorb the life energy and psyche of others with skin-to-skin contact emerged. Rogue was traumatized by the experience, and Cody was left in a permanent coma. Hence, Rogue wore body-concealing clothing that eliminated the possibility of accidental skin contact. She wished she "did not have to cover up so much around folks" to protect them from her. She thought her power was a curse.

The Story so Far: Not long after, she was approached by Mystique, who sought her out on the advice of her precognitive partner Destiny. Mystique ultimately took Rogue in as a daughter. In time, however, Mystique turned Rogue's loneliness, envy, bitterness, and despair into anger, thus recruiting her into the Brotherhood of Mutants.

When Mystique debuts her Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Destiny advises her to keep Rogue out of the action, advice which proves important when several members of the new Brotherhood are arrested and imprisoned. Mystique concocts a plan to free the other members of the Brotherhood by having Rogue absorb Ms. Marvel's formidable powers. Rogue attacks Ms. Marvel in San Francisco on her front doorstep as she is returning home from grocery shopping. Due to Ms. Marvel's formidable persona, Rogue's struggle to absorb her powers is prolonged, and the transfer of Ms. Marvel's psyche and powers is permanent. Rogue then throws her off the Golden Gate Bridge. She battles the Avengers using her newly acquired powers.

While at the Pentagon, she literally bumps into Carol Danvers, leading into a fight with Storm, Wolverine and Nightcrawler of the X-Men. Though Rogue proves more than a match for them, the four of them escape the Pentagon. Later, with Mystique and Destiny, Rogue attacks Angel and Dazzler, but is overpowered by Dazzler. Rogue develops a grudge against Dazzler for her controllable mutation and her relationship with Angel of the X-Men. Rogue is defeated by Dazzler a few times before Dazzler is publicly revealed to be a mutant and goes into hiding. Sometime after this, Rogue, Mystique and Destiny encountered the half-human, half Dire Wraith entity called Hybrid, with whom the three formed an alliance with against the Spaceknight, Rom. However, when Rogue seized an opportunity to use her power on him, she experienced both his loneliness and his nobility. This moment had a profound effect on her and served as a crucial turning point in her life.

The more Rogue uses her mutant power, the more her mind becomes filled with fragmentary psychic echoes of the people she absorbs. The permanently absorbed Carol Danvers (Ms. Marvel at the time) is a completely distinct, albeit dormant, personality in her head, and Mastermind subtly exacerbates Rogue's psychological distress as a means of revenge against Mystique. Desperate, Rogue turns to Professor Charles Xavier and the X-Men for help. The Professor is unable to do a psychic scan of her, due to the clashing human and Kree portions of her psyche, but nonetheless decides to not only welcome her into the school, but make her a probationary member of the X-Men. The X-Men threaten to leave the school should Rogue be accepted, even though none of the active members aside from Storm and Nightcrawler had even met Rogue before. However, Xavier is adamant and convinces the X-Men to stay.

Rogue has been a member of the X-Men ever since and eventually The Professor was able to use his telepathy to tear down the mental walls that kept Rogue's powers from developing (the walls were created as a side effect every time she absorbed other people starting with Cody, and even more so with Ms. Marvel), and removed the persistent mental echo of Mystique.

Characterization: Rogue has matured from a confused young woman to being one of the best leaders in the X-Men.

Friends and Foes: She is close to many of her X-Men teammates and has been in a long, off-and-on (currently on) relationship with Gambit.

Build Comments: And how late 80’s, early 90’s was Jubilee? Or at least what the writers THOUGHT a late 80's/early 90's teen should act like. ;)

And it took longer than I thought but she’s finally got her PAFs back after being a vampire for too long. I may start reading X-Men comics again after all.

Secret Origins: The daughter of two prosperous Chinese immigrants, Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee, was born and raised in Beverly Hills, California and lived a charmed life. Jubilee attended an exclusive Beverly Hills school and was believed to have the gymnastic potential to participate in the Olympic Games. However, all in one fateful weekend, her parents lost their money in the stock market and were then mistaken for their neighbors (also named the Lees) and killed by two hit-men, while Jubilee was out with a friend of the family.

Jubilee was then sent to an orphanage, but ran away and hid in a Hollywood shopping mall, stealing food to survive. Jubilee first discovered her mutant power, to generate blinding and explosive energy "fireworks", while running away from mall security. The stress of running away from the security guards caused Jubilee to emit a large light energy blast while in a back alley. This completely disoriented the men and allowed the frightened young girl to escape. Upon learning about her mutant ability to create fireworks, Jubilee realized she could earn money by using her powers to entertain customers and visitors in the mall.

Frustrated with the young girl's rebellious nature and powerful light-shows, the mall security hired mutant hunters, known as the M-Squad, to capture her. Jubilee held her own by blasting the M-Squad's energy tractor beams, but she was eventually caught. Lucky for her, Jubilee was rescued by the X-Men Dazzler, Psylocke, Rogue and Storm, who happened to be shopping at the mall. Curious about these strange women, she followed them for a while and later jumped into a portal after them.

The Story so Far: On the other side of the portal, Jubilee found herself at the X-Men's temporary base in the Australian outback. Jubilee stayed hidden and, while living in the underground base, the mutant known as Gateway was the only person aware of Jubilee's existence. During her stay in the base, Jubilee stowed away in Dazzler's quarters and found an immediate kinship, in the extent of Alison Blaire's wardrobe. Jubilee stole food and borrowed clothes from several of the X-Men to create a makeshift costume for herself. Jubilee was present when Nanny and Orphan-Maker ambushed the X-Men at their base, but simply hid while the battle ensued. Once while the X-Men were out, Jubilee was harassed and hounded by a Reaver guard dog that was left at the base. Jubilee stayed in hiding until the X-Men had abandoned the base, and their enemies the Reavers had captured Wolverine and taken over the base.

While sneaking around the caverns in the outback base, Jubilee was startled to find Wolverine hung up on a cross and near death. Jubilee helped Wolverine get down from the cross, and nurtured him back to health. Afterward, she teamed with Wolverine on several of his missions throughout the world. During this time she held her own against The Hand and blew up a section of the Mandarin's castle with her powers while being held prisoner there with Wolverine and Psylocke.

Jubilee and Wolverine grew a close father-daughter relationship with one another. Jubilee needed the guidance of a parent, while Wolverine needed the peace and joy of a child. Due to this relationship, Jubilee was referred to as Wolverine's unofficial sidekick. The duo teamed up to fight Sentinels, Omega Red, Sabretooth, Sauron, and even seek revenge on Reno and Molokai for the murder of her parents.

After hearing of mutants being attacked on the island nation of Genosha, the trio make their way there. They meet Boom Boom and Rictor, who had lost their powers. Leaving Jubilee to guard the depowered mutants, Wolverine and Psylocke attempt to invade the Genoshan Magistrate headquarters, but are captured. The three young mutants escape capture, and help the other X-Men defeat Cameron Hodge. Upon returning to the United States, Jubilee joins Storm, Wolverine, Forge, Psylocke, Banshee and Gambit as a member of the X-Men. She has several adventures with the team after proving herself.

Jubilee became close friends with Colossus's little sister Illyana Rasputin. When Illyana is diagnosed with the Legacy Virus, Jubilee spends all of her time at Illyana’s bedside. When Kitty Pryde arrives Jubilee is jealous of her at first, because she was Wolverines first sidekick, but the two soon form a friendship. Despite all their attempts the X-Men are unable to save Illyana. Jubilee takes her death extremely hard, almost as bad as Colossus. Several weeks later she has another loss to deal with. After Magneto violently removes the Adamantium from Wolverine's skeleton, he decides to leave the X-Men, fearing that he is a liability to them. Knowing how much this will affect Jubilee, he writes her a touching goodbye letter, and leaves his favorite cowboy hat for her.

Feeling that she needed a rest from the stresses at the mansion, Jubilee volunteered to join a new group of teenage mutants known as Generation X. The team was led by both Banshee and Emma Frost, and was comprised mainly of Jubilee, Husk, Synch, M, Chamber, Skin, and Penance.

Both Banshee and Emma Frost educated the teenagers in school subjects as well as combat and field skills. Jubilee and the other mutant teens honed their unique abilities and occasionally battled minions such as the Juggernaut, Omega Red, and their arch-rival Emplate. Time after time, Jubilee used her experience with the X-Men to help her teammates outsmart their enemies.
One of the most important details about her stay in Generation X was when she discovered the true killer of her parents, Hunter Brawn. She staged a solo operation, using all of her powers, skills, and abilities to track down Brawn. With the help of her friends and teammates, she managed to take him down. Enraged at how he had destroyed her family, her powers flared to a massive level. Instead of killing the man, she took out her aggression and blew up his warehouse, leaving him to be arrested by local authorities.

After Generation X disbanded, Jubilee moved to L.A. with former teammate Skin to pursue an acting career. She was unfortunately cast in stereotypical Asian roles, and after her agent tried to seduce her, she blasted him with a powerful plasma blast.

After the House of M, Jubilee was one of the mutants affected by Scarlet Witch's reality altering wave and has lost her powers. When Sally Floyd was trying to get in touch with the X-Men regarding the sudden depowering of most of the mutants, Jubilee did what she could to help, but since she was no longer a mutant she could not go back to the Xavier Institute.

She returns to New York shortly after "running" a half-way house for depowered mutants in Queens, NY and is kidnapped by Omega Red and his henchmen while Wolverine is sidetracked during the battle and taken to Berlin as a hostage. Wolverine manages to use S.H.I.E.L.D. to find Jubilee, but she is beaten and injured badly. Logan trades his freedom from S.H.I.E.L.D. for Jubilee's safety and well-being. She is carried away in a medical unit by S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives.

Jubilee next resurfaces as Wondra, the second in command of the latest incarnation of the New Warriors. She uses technologically based super strength (supplied by what appears to be a variation of The Wizard's "Wonder Gauntlets") capable of lifting a locomotive engine over her head. Recruited as the first member, Jubilee takes a more serious attitude to her role as Wondra and serves alongside former teammates and X-Men Chamber ("Decibel"), Stacy X ("Ripcord)", and Sofia Mantega ("Renascence"). Jubilee distrusts Night Thrasher and uncovers evidence that he is using the team for less than noble reasons, and after a trip to the future, the former mutants leave the team in the hands of ex-members of the Initiative.

Jubilee made her way to the West Coast again, and more specifically to San Francisco, where the X-Men moved following the destruction of the Xavier Institute. Jubilee had remained in contact with many of the new generation students, and met with a group of them at Fisherman's Wharf. The younger kids updated Jubilee on the status of the new island of Utopia, which now acts like a new home for the remaining mutants on Earth. When asked to return to Utopia with them however, Jubilee decided against going to an island of mutants, when she was no longer one. Instead, she had a letter delivered to Wolverine saying simply "Wish you were here."

While Pixie and Jubilee hung-out in Union Square, a biological suicide bomber exploded nearby, coating the area, and Jubilee, in blood. Later on Utopia, Dr. Nemesis discovered that Jubilee had been infected with vampire blood that would slowly over-take her. Ultimately, a hypnotic suggestion took over her and she fled to her masters. After being bitten by Xarus, son of Dracula, Jubilee had become a vampire. Wolverine chased after her and Xarus used Jubilee to convert him. Jubilee bit Wolverine and he led the army of vampires that attacked Utopia until it was revealed that Cyclops had planned for the event and had Nemesis implant nanites in Wolverine's blood. After Dracula killed Xarus and the X-Men defeated the vampire army, Jubilee was released into the X-Men's care and placed into a cell until a cure was found.

Jubilee returns to the X-Men with an orphaned baby, who she names Shogo, who was infected with Arkea. During the Battle of the Atom event Sentinel X, a member of the future X-Men, is revealed to be a now fully grown Shogo and the two spend a bit of quality time together after the death of the future version of Jubilee and the defeat of the Brotherhood. Afterwards Storm informs her that the adoption papers have gone through and that Jubilee is now legally Shogo's mother.

Despite her newfound duties as a mother, Jubilee felt capable of becoming a mentor to the younger generation of students and assured Kitty, who'd become the headmaster at Xavier's, she was excited about the job. Helping with this herculean task was Jono Starsmore, her former teammate at Generation X and the New Warriors.

Jubilee and Jono would be reunited with yet another former teammate when they discovered Monet St. Croix had merged with her brother, Emplate, and was attacking the students at night to absorb their life energy. They manage to drive her away, but decided to implement curfews for the students and start performing surveillance rounds to prevent future attacks.

Bonding during their surveillance walks and through misadventures involving Shogo and their students, Jubilee and Jono grew closer and got romantically involved.

When Monet finally attacked the school again, now during the day, she took away the medallion Jubilee used as protection from sunlight, and then threw her out the window. Witnessing this, Quentin Quire sacrificed the fragment of the Phoenix Force he carried within him to cure her of her vampirism and restore her original powers in the process, thus allowing her to attack Monet and buy her students enough time to come up with a plan to free her from Marius's control.

Characterization: Jubilee is a talented gymnast and in-line skater. While living on her own, she used her skills to evade capture while stealing to survive, first from the various shops in the mall and later in the X-Men's Australian base. She has also displayed above average hand-to-hand combat skills, having learned street-fighting techniques while in Los Angeles County Juvenile Hall, and being coached further by Wolverine. Her skills are sufficient enough to survive combat with the Hand. She also demonstrated strong leadership abilities, often being placed in a field commander role by Banshee during her closing time with Generation X, and acting as a drill-sergeant figure for the most recent New Warriors team.

In one issue of Wolverine's comic, it was stated that Jubilee suffers from dyscalculia.

Friends and Foes: She remains close to Wolverine and several of the X-Men. She has also developed a friendship with X-23, after an initial rivalry.

Not gonna lie.... I liked her better as a vampire.
Of course I can see how they would bring back her original powers and all. And don't get me started on how they've moved the Marvel Vampires away from the Tomb of Dracula stuff (stupid red armor and pony tail). Are they even Undead anymore?

COMPLICATIONS:
Enemy: She has a great enmity for Widowmaker.
Motivation: Lena wants to save the world an make it a better place for all.
Prejudice: She is in an open lesbian relationship and sadly, there's still people who are not OK with that.
Relationships: She is close to her girlfriend Emily and Winston who saved her from the timestream by inventing the Chronal Accelerator.
Responsibility: To Overwatch.
Vulnerable: If Tracer's chronal Accelerator core is damaged or rendered incapacitated, Tracer is prone to disappearing into the timestream, becoming insubstantial as well.

Abilities 64 + Skills 26 (52 ranks) + Advantages 7 + Powers 41 + Defenses 12 = 150 / 150

Build Comments: Tracer is pretty much the face of Overwatch and a cute face it is. With her bubbly personality, she became a fan favorite and as usual in our opinionated, jaded world (always has been folks, don’t let the advent of social media fool you, it’s just easier for people to say stuff to the masses now) a fan hate target. But her powers are cool and she’s the one reason I still might consider picking the game up.

Secret Origins: Lena Oxton (call sign: "Tracer") was the youngest person ever inducted into Overwatch's experimental flight program. Known for her fearless piloting skills, she was handpicked to test the prototype of a teleporting fighter, the Slipstream. But during its first flight, the aircraft's teleportation matrix malfunctioned, and it disappeared. Lena was presumed dead.

She reappeared months later, but her ordeal had greatly changed her: her molecules had been desynchronized from the flow of time. Suffering from "chronal disassociation," she was a living ghost, disappearing for hours and days at a time. Even for the brief moments she was present, she was unable to maintain a physical form.

The Story so Far: Overwatch's doctors and scientists were stumped, and Tracer's case seemed hopeless until a scientist named Winston designed the chronal accelerator, a device capable of keeping Tracer anchored in the present. In addition, it gave Tracer the ability to control her own time, allowing her to speed it up and slow it down at will. With her newfound skills, she became one of Overwatch's most effective agents.

Since Overwatch's dissolution, Tracer has continued to right wrongs and fight the good fight wherever the opportunity presents itself.

Characterization: The former Overwatch agent known as Tracer is a time-jumping adventurer and an irrepressible force for good. Tracer is a very energetic and cheeky woman, loving a good joke and giggling during battle. She's often quick-witted and displays great affection and even insight towards her friends, such as Winston and Mei. She is extremely fearless and determined, not being afraid to take chances and being enthusiastic about discovering new things and places, according to her reaction to meeting all the different characters and seeing all the sights of the Nexus in her trailer for Heroes of the Storm.

Ya know, I always wondered how Rogue was able to defeat Carol when she ambushed her at Carol's doorstep? I do not mean absorbing Carol's powers, but where did Rogue get the strength to battle Carol?

I know it was an ambush and Carol had her arms full of groceries, but she is high-level super-strong. And the battle lasted a while. It moved from Carol's doorstep to the Golden Gate Bridge. We even got to see a psychic image or two of Carol belting Rogue.

COMPLICATIONS:
Honor: Being Reinhardt's apprentice and Torbjorn's daughter has instilled her with a strong code of honor.
Relationships: With her family, particularly her father, Torbjorn. She is also very close to her godfather and mentor, Reinhardt.
Responsibility: To her mentor, Reinhardt and therefore to Overwatch, although she is not officially affiliated.

Abilities 50 + Skills 24 (48 ranks) + Advantages 21 + Powers 42 + Defenses 13 = 150 / 150

Build Comments: I loves me some Brigette. Originally she looked to be Reinhardt lite but while still allied with her mentor, her skill set makes her a different type of support character. And the way I built her, she would be a great leader of her own team of young heroes.

Secret Origins: The youngest daughter of a weapons designer, Torbjörn Lindholm, Brigitte was the first of his children to show an interest in mechanical engineering. Brigitte spent much of her spare time in her father's workshop, learning the trade and honing her skills. Her aptitude for engineering mirrored that of her father's, but Brigitte's primary interest was in armor fabrication and defensive systems, unlike Torbjörn, who was world-renowned (and perhaps infamous) for the weapons he created.

The Story so Far: Everyone expected that Brigitte would continue her apprenticeship and follow in her father's footsteps. But her plans changed due to an influence of another prominent figure in her life, her father's close friend and fellow Overwatch agent, Reinhardt Wilhelm. A close friend of the family and Brigitte's godfather, Reinhardt told Brigitte tales of heroes and chivalry as she grew up. After his retirement and Overwatch's fall, Reinhardt declared that he would become a knight-errant on a quest to bring justice. Before he left on his adventures, Brigitte surprised him by asking to join him as his squire. Reinhardt accepted.

As a squire, Brigitte had many responsibilities, the most important of which was the upkeep of Reinhardt's Crusader armor (a design she was familiar with as the current version was designed by her father). But more and more, she found her main job was taking care of Reinhardt himself, trying to protect him from his overenthusiasm even as his body was breaking down from years of combat.

Eventually, she realized that serving only as a mechanic wasn't enough and that the best way she could aid Reinhardt was to become a warrior in her own right. While Reinhardt trained her in combat, Brigitte began to build her own suit of armor in secret.

Now Brigitte fights at Reinhardt's side to protect him, and any others in need as knight and squire journey to make the world a better place, one battle at a time.

Characterization: Brigitte Lindholm is a hard worker who is following Reinhardt’s footsteps. She is shown to have some of her father’s traits like building and repairing things. She always has a confident attitude, and always makes sure everything and everyone is ready. Brigitte wants Reinhardt, and everyone to be safe so she decides to be their shield leading her to be caring. Brigitte always tries to improve her armor and her skills, wanting to prove herself.

I think you're right. It's not really that much of a benefit in most cases.
