Having Carman in the group adds a fun event to the game. If Carman was an NPC, Diego would probably have left her for dead and went to escort Iona and Peter. Her being another PC though creates an interesting scene.

Go ahead and make a Persuasion check Glyph. Intimidate won't work for the approach Carman is using. Even if she tried to Intimidate Renly it wouldn't have an impact after he was shown to have the upper hand in a fight.

I do not think Diego and Peter have informed Iona of the Ascendant's Cyber-neural Network and their ability to communicate over distances. Correct me if I am mistaken.

So just trying to figure it out visually. We are on the ground floor and the morgue is on the basement level, but if we go through the floor of the freezer, where will we end up and how far from the morgue for exfil?

You'll end up in a hallway not too far from the morgue if you get the angles right. The freezer is in the general area above the morgue.

Since Iona does not know that Diego is approaching the door, I assume Peter will have to be the one to open if for him.

Code of Honor(Avoid unnecessary collateral damage): While he is dedicated, Diego isn't a psychopath. If he needs to harm civilians to further a goal he will first think of a better way if possible
This is one of Diego's Complications. He gained it through play after the PCs set off a bomb that had a big collateral footprint. More than they had intended, due to security measures in the area they were unaware of. The guilt of that was part of Peter and Diego's character development, and each coped differently.

Post Ascension, where Peter has fought and continues to fight the pull of becoming an emotionless machine, Diego let go of his humanity and embraced what he has become. This has been shown in the character's evolution after the Ascension event. MrDent, do you still feel that the Code of Honor Complication is valid for Diego? Or do you believe something more in line with his lose of humanity is fitting?

Think on it. After the present mission is over changes can be made if you think it is warranted.

I forgot to remove the complication. Part of Diego's journey was grappling with his humanity and post ascension he lost it. The complication should probably be replaced with him being a sociopath whose focus is on completing the job and treating people as pawns when he views it as most efficient for the task at hand.

He might come back around or place more value on human life eventually, but that is part of one of the underlying threads with him in general.
