Iggy is near panting by the cries galvanize him. He goes to help as many as he can, shunting all of his available reagents into healing salves as needed. His focus is on Emergencies, not getting anyone to full strength, just saving lives. He also wants to call back the carriage and check on the redcap, their only prisoner from this escapade. He'll use a commlink to contact Sir Reginald to report what they know and ask him to contact the docks to have the Dutch Sailing vessel detained if possible. They're responsible for all of this, he reports.

Elizabeth goes to assist with the healing of the wounded. "Iggy... other two people whose names I have been too busy not dying to ask for, we are going to have to track those creatures down later. Hopefully that Redcap will be able to give us insight on what they are trying to accomplish."

Ooc..a commlink? I am sure you can manage a call to Sir Reginald somehow. His advice is to return to the mansion. The carriage isn't too far away. The poor exhausted horses can barely trot. The Redcap still seems unconscious. I am sure you secured it thoroughly.

Iolas

Iolas, having no training in first aid, keeps watch for any creatures that may return while his comrades work to bandage wounds and treat the injured. While doing that, he subconsciously thinks about the dressing down they will receive for utterly failing in the mission.

Iggy relays Sir Reginald's orders and calls back the carriage with a 50-foot wave and shout.

"We should return." he voices his agreement.

At this point, I think it would be damage control and regroup. Elizabeth really wants to get some information from this Redcap.

Fast forward..
Your battered carriage rolls into Sir Reginald's estate. There are more visible servants patrolling the grounds. There is an unusual tingle as you go through the gates. The redcap squirms.

Sir Reginald welcomes you and your unconscious guest. You notice his enormous orkish butler and a gentleman you met briefly, a Mr Merriwether.
You are taken into the cellar where the redcap is chained into a warded cell.
Sir Reginald gazes at you with a wry twinkle in his eye. "You have been busy. Now do tell all. I may have a little explaining to do."

Iggy launches into a full recount, from the thugs that tried to waylay them before the gate to the argument at the gate, the ensuing battle and the sailing ship, the spell and chase through the city.... leaving nothing out.

The massive orcish butler interceded when you describe the ruffians who harassed you at the docks. "The gutter princess. Word is that they have come into money recently. They are London's biggest gang now."
Mr Merriwether asks you to describe the markings you saw on the creatures.

Merriwether looks at the symbols. Looks again then grabs the pages and rips them into little pieces.
He mutters something, and checks his pockets to make sure his revolver and his cane are handy then says
"Sir Reginald. We may have a problem."

Ooc..feel free to ask any of the characters questions.

Iggy frowns at the arcane confetti and begins automatically reaching for a pen, then stops (in a rare moment of good sense). "Oh wait, you don't want me to redraw them, correct?"

"What are they?"

Merriwether frowns. "It is a little tricky to explain...right.
There are two sorts of magic basically. Additive that we call good magic. Magic is created by energy and consciousness.
There is also subtractive magic usually death magic. They are opposed to each other like fire and water. That is good for us puny mortals because while the great ones fight and bicker they ignore us.
There have always been death gods and the like but there are others out there that are so alien to us that if they came back then...it would be frightfully awful.

These markings are for both types of magi which implies not only an alliance of sorts but that someone is getting the attention of the other entities.

Someone is bringing the dinner bell and not realizing that we are the dinner. In our favour is that these entities are slow to react. Whoever is doing this needs to be stopped or then Shiggurath event will seem like a childish prank."
