DC13 Strength Check or doing 10 HP of damage to the boards on the window to break out.
Please note: Normally it would be a bit more HP and some hardness to break through but this isn't a high quality build. In fact it was quite shoddy patchup job and the materials are quite weak.
Since the flames are just starting the Prestidigitation spell would be able to lower the flames a little bit, making the damage 1d4 instead of 5 points. But in another round or so it's going to be too hot to make a difference.
Due to the size of the fire and (mostly) the oil it's beyond the cantrip's ability to snuff out the flames entirely.

Is there a 2nd door out of the building in the kitchen?
Re: OOC: Against the Cult of the Reptile God - D&D 5E - Recruiting Closed
Yes, but it is boarded up as well. Thankfully the door swings inward so it's the same as smashing through a window.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Arkrite, when I said Tyragorn ran to the front of the inn, I meant on the outside

Ah, that makes a lot more sense to me.
I just assumed he was being rather cautious and checking on the others

Updated with the change.

Okay. So rather than run this as a round by round event (which I believe will take too long and not really add to the fun), I'm going to say that you have two and a half minutes to decide on your actions.
After I see what you guys want to do I can react to the situation and determine what happens next. And we'll get to see who responds to Georgia's call at that time.
Notes:
Flynn is correct.
In real life:
Never use water on an oil fire. Oil naturally floats on top of water, so throwing water on oil simply makes the fire spread further around as it floats on the water.
Always use a CO2 or a powder based fire extinguisher in these cases, or smother it with a blanket, and then only if it's safe to do so.
Remember your own safety is the biggest priority!
In game terms the oil will be burned up fairly quick, whoever lit the place up used the same kind of lamp oil that Aldan did, which means it goes up fast but runs out of fuel pretty quickly.
So you will be able to use the water after about thirty seconds in, but Aldan's usage of the sand and aprons is getting you some successes.
Best Success Conditions: Inn doesn't burn down.
Worst Failure Conditions: Fire starts to spread through the town.
Have fun! ;~)

I'm not worried. We'd have to screw up pretty bad to burn the whole town down.

Not that it'd be a huuuge loss... This area of Orlane seems heavily infected/replaced/compromised.

If I was a villager I'd rather see the in burn. Can you imagine trying to clean it up after the goblin and lizardman infestation?
