OOC: Against the Cult of the Reptile God - D&D 5E - Recruiting Closed
Re: OOC: Against the Cult of the Reptile God - D&D 5E - Recruiting Closed
So I might have been waiting on a response from a player who isn't in the game anymore.
*Facepalm*
In other news, I get to spend another three hours tonight doing snow removal. And I'm not even one of those poor guys in Newfound Land!

By my recollection, we're in late afternoon now
Re: OOC: Against the Cult of the Reptile God - D&D 5E - Recruiting Closed
I was halfway through describing the trip through the less populated area when I realized that darned elf went right through the center of town ;~)
Good news, got over my cold, though my wife is still out of commission.
Also going to update the map info at the front to help keep things easy to track.

Ah, going north of the lake would have been a great idea! Didn't see that.
Did we get a purse for expenses from Jarrak? (Really, it was Jarrak all the time, I didn't see a Jakkar.)

I've been meaning to ask, who is this Jakkar fellow you keep asking about? ;~)
I'm honestly just happy I'm not the only person who has problems with names. I still want to call Shock's Vindicators character Victoria.
For the sake of our sanity, and to avoid me having to do some extreme book keeping, Jarrak has sent a small pouch with Jessica (They're a part of the same religious order), which will cover a week or two of moderate living and meals. Longer if you would be able to tolerate bland trail food, or go hunting.

My fault, I was skimming the early pages for the questgiver's name and happened to come across where it was mistyped.
To my fellow players, How involved do we want this scene at the Badger to be? I'm sure there's great info to be had here but I feel the dinner with the mayor might be more informative. In character, I feel slightly bad about staying at a nice place when we know our enemies are willing to set fires to buildings to get at us.

I was thinking we try a little interaction at the Badger, trying to get info on the mayor before going to the meet with him.

LOl- "The Tattooed Man"? What kind of ABSOLUTE DILDO would refer to himself as "The Tattooed Man" !?!

Updated the first post with the innkeepers names, and your benefactor.
I'm pretty sure I missed an NPC's name or two, but I'm sure they'll show up again eventually.

By the way, anyone up for a different D&D game in addition to this? viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1362#p85625. 3rd lvl, looking for full caster like Wizard, Cleric or Druid.

Sounds interesting but I'm not ready for playing a full caster. Thanks for letting us know though.

Sounds like fun but I'm kind of falling behind in my duties as it is, I should probably just stick to the games I've got at the moment.
As for your question, Flynnarrel, after cleaning up you should have some time to wander over and check it out if you want, but if it's anything other than a quick walk in, quick chat and walk out you'd probably be a bit late for dinner.
So if you wanted to take your time it might be better to check after dinner or the next morning.
Unless you guys want to wander around the scary town after dark ;~)

Yeah, Aldan was planning on it.
That's when the bad guys would come out after all, right?

We should probably do the mayor's house before seeing the old guy in the woods. As soon as we get cleaned up.
