The goblin by Tyragorn makes a couple stabs at the paladin, but it's hesitation costs it would could have been a solid strike.
During this time another goblin makes it's appearance by the trap door, bursting out in front of Zasio and Jessica. It waves it's sword, but it's too disoriented to attack.

Back by the trap door Aldan faces two more goblins that wave their swords but trip over each other trying to get out the door first to attack the rogue.
OOC:
Goblin 1 rolls a natural 17. Then I remembered the disadvantage and it rolled a 1, so it doesn't pummel poor Tyragorn this turn.
Goblin 7 does a double move to pop out of the door next to Zasio.
Goblin 8 runs up to the door next to Aldan and rolls a mighty 5.
Goblin 9 does a double move to move next to Goblin 8.
Aldan's turn.

Goblin 1 - 4 HP Damage, Disadvantage on next attack
Goblin 2 - Dead (Killed by Zasio)
Goblin 3 - Dead (Killed by Zasio)
Goblin 4 - Dead (Killed Georgia)
Goblin 5 - Dead (Killed by Aldan)
Goblin 6 - Dead (Killed by Aldan)
Goblin 7

Aldan
Passive Perception:14 | Init:+4 | AC:16 | HP:11/14

Aldan was NOT in the place one of his ilk preferred to be in - facing two with no good way to split their attention or be tricky. No good way to break line of sight in order to jump back into a shadow either. One lucky shot could ruin his day, but to do anything tricky could leave their bard open for attack

"Green unpleasantness back here." he says as warning to his friends. Then tries to stab at Goblin 8 with his rapier.
atk rapier: 1d20+6 19
dmg rapier: 1d8+4 10
He'll shuffle a step to the side so that if Goblin 9 comes out it'll have no choice but to have enemies on both sides.
"Something pithy this way comes."

Tyragorn
HP: 11 AC:18

Tyragorn used the goblin's hesitation to gather himself for a more effective attack and shoved the head of his hammer at its chest.
Hammer attack: 1d20+5 15
Hammer damage: 1d8+3 10
Will move into its space and again apply disadvantage if the next goblin attacks an adjacent ally.

Tyragorn's thrust puts the spike of the hammer clean through the goblin, and so intense is the thrust it crushes the goblin's ribcage with the body of the hammer.

At the same time Jessica rushes forward, bringing her mace down on the head of the goblin that had popped out of the trap door next to her with a sickening crunch.

The final goblin is dispatched with a fast and brutal thrust.

And like that the entire building is silent again.

"Is that all of them?" Jessica asks quietly as she peeks through the secret door.

Tyragorn
HP: 11 AC:18

Tyragorn stayed tense and looked around. "Where did they come from? We blocked that door."

Aldan
Passive Perception:14 | Init:+4 | AC:16 | HP:11/14

"It's all one big room where they all were. Honestly, the fact that they kept trying that door for so long indicates how addled their brains must be."

Aldan looks around the new room, wiping his blades and sheathing them.

"The walls are thick stone so there's a chance we weren't heard; still, we should hurry. We must be close to the head priest, Brother Abramo. Tyragorn, you need patching up again." Aldan says. It's not a question.

"We've no idea what twisted magics he might have at his command. Anything you two can do to counter him?" he asks Sister Bright and the bard.

"I'll try to draw his fire." Aldan says, wondering if it was to be literal fire. "Always go for the mage first." he says patting the 'wand' in a sheath at his side.

Tyragorn
HP: 11 AC:18

Tyragorn nodded at Aldan's suggestion he get healed. "Jessica, if you have a prayer to help it would be appreciated." He knew he had a blessing from Heironeous that would help but it felt selfish to use it on himself and he wasn't sure his god would approve.

The paladin looked around the goblin bunk room in disgust. He found it hard to believe the things had anything of value in their possession.

Jessica nods and places her hands on Tyragorn's shoulders, whispering a prayer.
A few moments later a feeling of warmth, like stepping out of a dark house and into the summer sun, spreads over the Paladin and the pain of his wounds subsides.

"I can grant Pelor's blessing on three of us. It might help defend against magical spells, but it won't last very long," Jessica offers.
OOC: 8 HP are healed for Tyragorn.

Tyragorn
HP: 11->19 AC:18

"My thanks to Pelor and to you." Tyragorn nodded to Jessica. "Let's keep moving." He turned his back on the filthy room and returned to the hall of the ambush.

Aldan
Passive Perception:14 | Init:+4 | AC:16 | HP:11/14

Aldan steps up next to the paladin and quietly checks if the southern door is locked. If not he cracks it a bit and listens at the space with sharp, elven ears.

As the door shifts open the sound of bells can be faintly heard. A quick examination of the back of the door reveals a number of bells had been fastened to the back of the door.

Lit torches light the room indicating that this room must have been used recently.

The walls of this chamber are scratched, stained, and covered with strange markings. Loose chips of stone lie scattered on the floor. Aside from the southeast exit, the room appears empty.

Aldan
Passive Perception:14 | Init:+4 | AC:16 | HP:11/14

Aldan winced as the bells tinkled through the chamber. He chided himself for a rookie mistake.
Is the eastern wall that Aldan can see a solid brick wall?
