I'll make a roll for taht check tonight when I get home- tough to access a dice roller from work.

Yep, no problem. As a soft GM reminder since this guy sidetracked you two, originally you had plans to visit the convention center where they were still setting up.
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

Yup.
I'm so easily amused I had to throw in the fake porn magazine that Dean likes reading in the TV series Supernatural, and the website people keep requesting in the youtube comedy skit "What if Google was a guy?" ;~)

Luckily I still need something from Bladewind and I believe Catsi, as I've not been here for a few days. In the case there's nothing then, I'll move things along again some point tomorrow.

Question: How many PP would it take for Eric to have Detect Hidden? And does he have them?
Thanks, and have a nice day :)

I think that the power in question was an old holdover from D&D.
I could be mistaken but I believe that Michael is built as a D&D style elf. In that setting, in some editions, they had the ability to spot hidden doors.

Now the running joke is: You already have the ability to detect hidden doors.
Normal eyesight and a high perception check would probably get the same results and save you some power points. ;~)

As Arkite said. You also can not spend points in thr middle of a 'session', and what's more to buy the power you know would be useful in this exact situation is a little too meta-abusive in my opinion.

Dammit, why didn't I have Eric looking for hidden stuff, the way Michael was??? I'm sure Eric would've been doing that, as an experienced investigator, but because *I* didn't say it, it didn't happen...
Thanks, and have a nice day :)

Don't worry to much about it Ichi. Seeing as Bladewind hasn't responded here yet, I'll push Mikjal along in the right direction for you guys later tonight.

Just to clarify, that roll was to see if Felix would have ran across the same story I, the player, had ages ago.
It is in no way to clarify that it is an accurate recounting of that story, and I know for a fact that Felix got a couple things wrong ;~)

Trying my best to avoid puppeting, apologies to Bladewind for whenever he's back around.
