Hawk, what's the DC of that telekinetic attack? Sarah's Dodge is 6 so that 16 hits.

JM< it's a burst area attack.

SHOCK WAVE: Burst area affliction 8, Extra Condition, limited degree, (resisted by Fortitude; Dazed and Vulnerable, Stunned and Defenseless), Limited (John and target must be touching the ground)

You need to make a DC18 Dodge to half the effect, then DC18 or 14 Fort save.

If it's an area attack, why did Hawk roll? Total confusion. Okay.

Dodge DC 18, Toughness DC 18/14: 1d20+6 14 1d20+10 27

Oops. lucky Toughness and Fortitude are both 10 for Sarah. I'll post IC and take my second round attack.

Hawk probably forgot. He's still fairly new to game if I recall correctly.

Oh, didn't know that.

Now if only Sarah could roll higher than an 8 when she attacks.

To be fair this is my first game, so we've got a few new members here.

Also, just so everyone knows, Pemberly does specify hand to hand combat in the ic (I doubled check), so some characters may not do as well in this test. Just so people are aware.

In Maya's defense, AJ floated off the ground. Even if only a vague "few feet", it would make hand to hand kind of fruitless to try, so she just adapted and rolled with the situation, rather than raise a fuss asking if it was supposed to be hand to hand

Oh I'm not criticizing from an ic perspective (or ooc for that matter), I just wanted to make sure people had seen the specifics. :)

Is Pemberly going to rebuke anyone who doesn't engage in hand to hand? Sarah is purposefully using her elongation rather than shooting rocks at range.

I'm afraid that can only be answered ic after the combat.

I would think he might say something between pairings. But apparently he believes in only saying things once. :)
