The girl relays the message to Torque through her phone and looks decidedly grim. "We stop it then. Gloves off." she looked at Viv. "From the sound of it, it looks like there isn't much of anything left of Razor-head. In any case, the last thing we need is another fragging foot-hold attempt from some interplanetary warlord." she closed her eyes and opened them. "Call it into Markus. See if he can cut the cords. By this point, I doubt he can, but it's worth a try." she bit her lip as another thought occurred to her. "On second thought don't. If this thing is as advanced as I think it might be, the chances of it taking over his systems are pretty good and the kid is a cyborg himself from what Lilly said. It's too big of a risk. Damnit. Why can't things be straightforward?" she asked to no one in particular.

Even before Amy spoke, Viv was already on her phone. A quick call to Markus first- with the ongoing changes, the killswitch might not work, but if it did work, it would be their best option. As soon as she finished that, the next call went to the Ministry. Since they had Lilly on the field team, it was likely that the Ministry had reasonably good files on Darkseid and Apokolips- and they knew just how big a problem this could turn in to... Her message was terse and emphatic, relying on important code-words, including whatever emergency designations the Ministry used for such a situation, and signing off with the usual "If I don't call back in 10 minutes, you'll know we have failed..."

With that notification made, and the knowledge that the Ministry would reach out, officially, to the local authorities, Viv set to work on the real issue- dealing with the problem at hand. "Let's go," she said to her teammates, sliding her phone back into her pocket. "First priority is taking out the portal, or the power source. Even if the killswitch fails, we can deal with one target. We can't fight off an army."

Markus quickly responds, letting her know that he gets an error whenever he tries to use the killswitch. " Okay, I underestimated this thing. No more shady black market cyberware deals for me, I'll just build my stuff myself in the future. Good luck."

Hagen's initial response - a string of german expletives that really don't need to be translated to get the point across - makes it obvious that he knows exactly what this means. " I'll call in GSG-10, but I am not sure when they can be there. I'll need you to try and at least destroy that wannabe-Stargate. Apokolips on its own is bad but who knows what Darkseid cooked up in the last 5 years with all the fresh new flavours of evil available..."

Viv relayed Hagen's concern to the rest of the group. "The portal is definitely our main target. If you can shut down the generator, or cut the cable, or use an electric pokemon to short it out, go for it." She looked around the group- except for Lilly, none of them was really a close combat specialist- and she wasn't sure if Torque could even fit into the bunker...

But...

She quickly pulled her phone back out and called the number that Fiend had given them. "We've found our killer cyborg. If you want in on this, we are (address) on the third level of the bunker, and things are just about to kick off..."

"Well then. Squish the gate thing, that I can do." Amy affirmed. She looked to her pets. "Guys, focus everything on the gate. We gotta destroy that first."

The pokemon clustered around her and nodded. "You betcha. Let's smash this thing into scrap!" Ren said, rubbing his paws together in almost psychotic glee.

"Once we're done with that, we'll focus in on the cyber-dead guy." she said.

She looked up at the others. "Sounds reasonable?"

There is a door but it is open due to the many cables now running into the room.

"It might not be a good idea to teleport behind the bad guy depending on how close the room is. Remember, friendly fire isn't and no matter how good a shot you are, in the heat of the moment, you can always miss." the girl warned Lilly. "The pokemon and I can take care of the portal-thing easy enough. It doesn't sound all that well constructed. So smashing it and shorting it out won't be a problem I think." she said as she followed Viv.
