"Hagen said we were supposed to be staying in a hotel- the camper and gear are just in case we need to stay out closer to the meeting. We should find the place and get checked in. Then maybe wander around town for a bit, play tourists... The meeting doesn't start for a while, but I'd guess some of the players are already in the area. Any information we can pick up fresh might be valuable..."

She paused for a moment, thinking. "Well, we have contacts for the 'conference organizers', I guess you might call them. We'll check in to the hotel, see if Hagen sent any additional info, maybe have a meal that isn't from a roadside stand, then give them a call, see if they want to meet for a quick introduction..."

Rooms have been reserved for you at the Hotel Jägerhaus, a decent if not extravagant hotel. The rooms are simple but clean and well-kept and, according to a quick internet search, the food is supposed to be very good.

Lilly goes inside with the others. "Yes, food would be good!" she comments.

She is unabashedly listening in to conversations around her as they move through the town in case anyone is saying anything of interest, particularly about the meeting...

Leaving the others to follow along if they chose to, Viv headed into the Hotel Jagerhaus. Just inside the door, she paused for a moment, letting a wave of memories flood through her. So many times during her childhood, she and her parents had stepped through the front door of a new hotel- some very much like this one, some far fancier. In her mind, that simple crossing of the threshold into some new lodging marked the start of a new set of experiences- and so many times it had been her parents striding confidently to the front desk, while Viv herself stared around in a child's wide-eyed wonder.

Even after all these years, and all the places she had traveled on her own, something about stepping into a new hotel for the first time still carried a bit of a thrill...

With a sigh, she oriented herself and headed towards the check-in desk, as confident as her parents had ever been. She did not look back to see if any of her fellow agents were following (or gazing around the lobby curiously).

The girl looks around, it's a very nice hotel by her standards. But then, she's more used to youth hostels, staying at temples and camping than anything else. Which in their own right were good experiences. But this was different. She smiled. "This is a nice place," she said, looking forward to sleeping on a decent bed and having a decent meal as well.

"Well, it isn't the Ritz, or even the Grand Budapest Hotel, but in a town like this it will probably do just fine. Anything too fancy would just draw attention. At least it is the Hotel Jaegerhaus and not the Hotel Jaegermonster- I don't think any of us have hats fancy enough for that..."

What is Germany and New Mechanisburg's stances with each other politics wise? I'd assume that once Germany started to ease up on the 'no super's' rule, things would start to thaw so to speak. Just curious.

Inside, the lounge is rustic but looks comfortable. There are only a few people around - humans - though the woman behind the reception desk has slightly pointed ears, hinting at half-elven ancestry. She smiles warmly as you step in. " Welcome to the Jägerhaus. Do you have a reservation?"

Lilly's Divine Sense tingles slightly and she notices that there is a small shrine dedicated to Abnoba in a corner of the lounge where people can place small coins into a shallow wooden bowl before a simple wooden effigy of the goddess.

The girl wandered over to the shrine and placed a coin in the bowl. She also put down an interesting and pretty agate that had delicate blue and green veining on the inside and pink on the outside with the inside polished to show off the colors. Amy wished the goddess well and prayed for a successful meeting and trip with the wolves.
