Still looking for a 2e game or help getting into a 3e game.

Post by Poodle »

Like the title says, I love 2e and would love to be a player in a 2e game. I would also be willing to get into a 3e game or even a DnD 5 game but would need a fair ammount of assistance as I have not played either (although lots of DnD).

Anybody out there able to help a gameless player out?

Here is a good resource for D&D 5E stuff.

And there are many Conversion docs from M&M 2E to 3E. Here's one. It's not that big of a shift, though I remember being very cautious in the beginning too.

Also the 3e game has an online SRD so you can try before you buy. https://www.d20herosrd.com/

Well, it's not like there is an abundance of 3e games recruiting at the moment that you are missing out on. But yes, bite that bullet. Add salt and other seasonings as needed.

3rd ed Is a good system its a lot leaner meats a little easier to chew and swallow,

game is just as fun with very minor changes or house ruling needed

I was resistant at first, but some house rules made the system work a bit better for me. In my game, I also employ some optional lethal rules and such.

Right now, I think only In the Shadow of Imperator is recruiting.
