Re: Adventures In Hyboria: OCC thread
Arkrite had a few questions you could weigh in on. I was also reserving my input until we knew the legally expected thing to do.

He did! I thought I'd answered them. I'll get that on my next break.

Re: Adventures In Hyboria: OCC thread
There is the option to simply leave the goblins there tied up. Not a great answer, but a possible choice.Arkrite wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 10:09 pm
I could use a little guidance in this setting as to what the appropriate solution would be in our situation. Letting them go seems like a bad idea, it sounds like executing them for their crimes would be frowned upon, and we're not really equipped to guard prisoners while going on a rescue mission.
The God of travelers who have no problem with executing the offensive little so & so's. However, in the last 20 years there are those among his worshippers who are trying make him a bit more accepting of such actions without bloody payback. It's had mix success so far.Arkrite wrote: Also curious to know what the opinion of Jarrak's god would be in regards to bandits. I can't imagine the god of travel would approve anything that specifically attacks people on the roads. ;~)

So... Looking to the rest of the group, are we left with two plot derailing options of either dealing with prisoners that we aren't equipped to deal so with that we don't become outlaws OR saving the merchants, but not both?
We rise from the ashes so that new legends can be born.

And to make it funnier, Jack is way prettier than Jarrak.
But not as pretty as Abigail.
My god, is this an adventuring troupe or a wandering band of models? ;~)

Tully is a old dwarf with a charisma score of 16, dude may just be a silver fox.
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

Re: Adventures In Hyboria: OCC thread
But is it 'I'm too sexy' or 'I'm sexy and I know it' levels of being pretty?
And, I'm reading correctly that the goblins are already dead?
We rise from the ashes so that new legends can be born.

Re: Adventures In Hyboria: OCC thread
The plan was for them to be alive, tied up, and hanging from a tree so they wouldn't be able to scoot away (or get ate by wolves).
Something like this gentleman.
... In theory being upside down might make it harder for them to escape.
In practice Jarrak might just be mean.

Ah, hanging from a tree has other less comfortable implications.
We rise from the ashes so that new legends can be born.

Huh... you know, if they're making soup, and that kitchen has some kind of chimney that goes straight up Lan's plan might be easier than expected. ;~)
Re: Adventures In Hyboria: OCC thread
Hmmm... good question, if there's a stove the smoke has to escape somewhere, right?

Re: Adventures In Hyboria: OCC thread
There is a chimney for the stove, and considering the size I have in mind a small person (or animal) could fit through it
