Vivid wrote: Mon Apr 05, 2021 5:22 pm I think we just need a stealth from Jarrak (to see how far in to the complex we get before the battle starts, I suppose). And we have a couple of initiatives already.
Init, Move Silently with disadvantage: 1d20-1 7 1d20-1 13 1d20-1 14

Wow. So, Init is only 7 (higher than I expected), and even with disadvantage Jarrak manages a 13 for move silently.
I'm shocked because I was expecting to roll a 0 ;~)

Sorry for the delays, RL time demands are still high. I plan to get a post up either first thing tomorrow morning or late afternoon at worst.

Sorry for the additional delay, but my wife is going to Virginia to visit family for the weekend and last night was filled with dinner, packing bags and getting things ready for me to drop her off bright & early this morning.

So anyways, I got the post finished & posted.

Holy smokes! They've a perception of +9!? I guess lair bonus? Ironically, I don't feel bad about rolling poor stealth checks now.

And great call reposting the map. It's much appreciated.

Your whirlwind attack leaves only one goblin remaining, who struggles to draw his sword after taking the end of your quarterstaff to his chest but he manages to clear the blade and try to attack you. However, his swing is wild and goes wide of where he was trying to connect, making his attack easy to avoid all together.

OOC wrote:Sorry about that Flynn, I'd forgotten Lan was taking a different route in. We'll say there is only three goblins in the kitchen.

Only the first goblin manages to survive, the other two are dead.

So the goblin's turn.
Sword Attack: _: 1D20+4 = [3]+4 = 7. I assume that would be a miss, which would make it Lan's turn again.

My apologies if I wasn't clear. Lan is with the main group. The two she took out and one she injured was from the initial 8 that the main group faces. Her Familiar, Kai, entered via the chimney again. He'll not engage but get to the prisoner area to give a dagger to the dwarf or his assistant.

Tully's Shocking Grasp would have Benefitted from the advantage.

It's okay, someone will use it, if only Anne to negate the disadvantage from using a ranged spell attack in melee (unless she moves back prompting an AOO).

Did Tully's attack go against one of the goblins on Lan, or one of the goblins on Jarrak?

Arkrite did not use the bonus & he should have.

either way, her action of giving advantage to one of the goblins still on Jarrak should still work.

I do hope Arkrite gets a chance to reroll his attack and possibility take out the goblin formerly on Anne.
