I like that.

You mean if he casts it again within the 1 minute? Yes, I suppose so. In this version, it's more about knowing you're going to be casting it a few times, and the duration's not long enough to make a network of it.

Around 6 seconds, with an individual turn being about 3 seconds. (page 107)

Since each phase has all participants act more or less simultaneously, it's easier to parse the time.

So, what Moira was talking about is in use in real world today, the military trains soldiers what a raised closed fist means (stop and pay attention) and also many other signals. (Note, *I* was never in the military but have an older brother that was, I am by no means an expert).

In game terms I'm thinking it'd be a skill, based off Cunning, called 'Callsigns' or something like that. It'd be a little expanded since we want to use whistles (these arent birdcalls or anything like that, if we wanted to incorporate that it'd still be a disguise or survival check probably.) But they'd be actual whistles that meant something.
It'd work like we tell the GM what message we're trying to convey and he sets the difficulty Tier in conveying that message. We roll to convey the gestures, the recipient rolls to receive/interpret them (same Tier difficulty) and partial successes could indicate a partial or jumbled interpretation.

What do you guys (esp. GM) think?

A skill to use and understand hand signs sounds neat. Yeah, the difficulty would be based on the complexity of the message.

With this new trick and the ability to pull off combos while wielding her daggers... I'm currently picturing her looking very close to blender-status.
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

So, 'Callsigns', a skill to interpret gestures and whistles to convey simple meanings at a distance [Cunning based]. Do I have that right?

So we're on the same page, did Ericka heal the horse or dress its wounds? Treat wounds with the Heal skill doesn't actually restore hitpoints does it?

Not immediately. It helps natural overnight recovery by giving levels of advantage on the roll.

From the surgical kit descriptor;
"Restores Injuries equal to the amount
Successes with advantage, rolled on a Heal"

Early arrangements on the deal gave her free access to supplies to help heal up the caravan crew themselves, I presume that applies to the horses as well.

Heal: 2 {4,1,4,1,1,3,2,3}
Why are my dice being such crap? -_-

Oh, I thought all the healing stuff worked by improving overnight recovery. Oh Well, I'm hardly an encyclopedia. ^^;
