Grigor "Dog" Geddings
AT: 2 Wounds: 5/5

Dog comes to a stop next to Ericka.

"Remind me not to piss that one off," He mutters under his breath to Ericka, before looking at the others, "Okay... do we mop up the rest of them or just head out?"

He couldn't see what the others were doing, but that amount of gun fire couldn't have gone unnoticed.

Lady Moira Sterling
Moira AT: 6>3>4
Raptage AT: 4>5

Moira looks embarrassed for a moment but is changing magazines as she strides over to where Boris fell. With her LMG loaded with normal rounds she takes aim at center mass from 6 feet away and, after an apologetic look to her companions, fires one bullet into the armored portion over his chest in order to get accurate measurements to compare and contrast to the armor piercing rounds.

She would wait to take those measurements (and gather the silver) until after what they decided to do with the other gang members.

"We should give them a chance to surrender and take in as many as we can. They're still bad guys." Moira says.

"But I won't be shooting any of them." she adds quickly.

Sashura Vlasova
AT : 2, now 5

Sashura had decided to hold back and wait - there was only so much room in melee, and at a minimum did NOT want to block Lady Sterling's shots or be within range of Ericka's explosive spears.

Once she felt that wave of magic, she knew Boris was down for the count, but there were still plenty of other idiots nearby that might try something.
Recovery action, in case need more ATs

As if a prophasy fulfilled, moments later the group hears the sound of several sets of boots rushing back to the farmhouse. It seems the house blocked some of the sound though as before anyone can consider hiding, the bandits are rounding the corner and stop dead, assessing the scene before them.

Five armed and armored warriors, Boris dead on the ground, circling back, these guys might be wielders if they were able to deal with Boris, reassessment; even if the numbers are one to one, the bandit's "ones" are much, much smaller.

One of them speaks up as all five drop their weapons to make it clear they understand they aren't much of a threat to you, and to make themselves look even less threatening. "L-look....we see you're real strong, but there's no way yer gonna be able to march us all back in the dark n' all...what say you let us go, forget you saw us, and we don't set foot in Sepulcur again, ever?"

Yeah, the deal favors the bandits heavily, but form what you heard, this gang, prior to Boris, was more of a neusence than a danger to the people. Boris was clearly using fear to manipulate them, and now with him out of the picture, it's an opportunity for what's left of the gang to get away and maybe even try turning over a new leaf, seeing what this way of life can lead to.

Ericka Akcire
AT: 10 | W: 5/5
Resistances: 6/2/2/3

Ericka stared at the outlaws mutely for a bare second, glancing at her blades for two more. She breathes through her nose, centering herself, before looking to them again. The grip on her blades doesn't yet slack. "If you wanted a chance to sneak away into the night without anyone following behind, then there needs to be a reason for us to not find you again afterward. With this monster as he is, we'll be lacking in answers. Something that you people might be able to provide. We'd asked some of your men before, but without the thread of this thing over your heads, perhaps you'd be more willing to... Elaborate further. Such as where this beast even came from."

Persuade: 6 (5,6,4,3,5,2,5,5,2,3,5)
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

The bandit that spoke lifts his hands. "If it means you'll let us go, that seems pretty fair, but for where that zealous asshole came from, we really don't know. He showed up outta nowhere. Ranted about a place called Petram though, how it burned for its hubris or something like that....maybe he was there before this?"

Grigor "Dog" Geddings
AT: 2 Wounds: 5/5

"Did he mention somebody he answered to? And where did he keep his stuff?" Dog asks.

It was likely the answer to both questions was no and here, but it didn't hurt to ask.

"Someone called Helmontra I reckon, but I don't know if answer to is the right term...more like worships. And he didn't have much 'stuff'. He didn't care much about pillaging or looting, just burnings and sacrificings." the bandit gestures to Boris' corpse. "Have at 'im if you want. And you can search the house if you want, notuch of value in there. Was looted years ago after it was abandoned I reckon."

Lloyd Millhaus
AT: ___ || Wounds: 7/7 || Casting: 6D6

Lloyd looks hard at the collected band of miscreants. It's true times were hard but they chose a living based on making the lives of others harder.

"Leave Sepulcur? Just means you turn to road banditry or food for Deceivers. Come back with us, turn selves in. Get on labor detail to rebuild the homes and buildings *you* burned. We have Guild put in word, get you lighter sentence. Could be Boris have mind powers. Turned you to fire-wielding a-holes who'd ruin lives of decent citizens with arson. Maybe you show shame, remorse, after his defeat? Any decent person would. In world of monsters these actions, somehow, worse. You see this, yes?" he looks at the firelit faces of the gang around him.

"Who of you will come back with us? Better life than out there, I assure you." he asks.
"Something pithy this way comes."

The bandits cast some uneasy looks amongst each other. The gang was, for all intents and purposes, finished. Their old boss was dead, the usuper was dead, and most of the numbers they used to have were dead or incarcerated now. Sure, leaving to another town would be dangerous, but they didn't have the clout to realistically start up the gang again or be much of a force at all. The most they could hope for along that path was to be absorbed into another gang. That or beg in the streets and try to claw their way up to something worthwhile.

Alternatively, they turn themselves in and serve time for their misdeeds. See some pennance for people they have hurt in the past, and more recently and severely. After some tense looks, the bandit who had been speaking for the group turns back. "Look....maybe give us until dawn to talk it over? There's lots of space in the house, and if you wanna lock us up in one of them, that's plenty reasonable." It's a reasonable request. You wouldn't be making it back to town tonight in any case.

Lady Moira Sterling
Moira AT: 6>3>4
Raptage AT: 4>5

Moira follows the conversation as she takes measurements with professional efficiency then quietly scoops the smattering of silver droplets in a small bag. She had little to add but thought the effort and morality of getting them turning themselves in was a noble one.

Lloyd Millhaus
AT: ___ || Wounds: 7/7 || Casting: 6D6

Lloyd looks up at the night sky nodding at the gang member's assessment.

"Largest room, no weapons. Locked doors, but not to keep you in." He gestures to the fanatic, dead and prostrate. "He servant to an Akuma. A Reveler of Ruin. Promoter of Pain. It may know of his death and be curious enough to send something to investigate. Or come Itself. Know that I, at least, will defend you from this thing, should it show. No matter how you choose in the morning. I do this. For you are human, and in this world it is Us against Them. Not Us against Us when avoidable."

He plants his feet and indicates weapons should be piled in front of him.

The bandits had already dropped their weapons and look a little reluctant to pick them up again, even if only to move them into a pile for Lloyd, but one steps forward, slowly doing just that.

Afterwards, the bandits file into the largest room as instructed to be locked in. The group finds otherwise there is a small kitchen and living room, and two smaller bedrooms, though any furnishings are basically destroyed, but not recently.

Sashura Vlasova

As she put her crossbow away, Sashura thought about what Lloyd said. She recalled that thing that showed up when the group killed its "pet" corrupted alligators.

A follower/worshipper might be worth more than a mere pet. But it's hard to tell with Akuma where they value humans.

"May be a long night. Best to stay alert for anything." she groused to herself.

Grigor "Dog" Geddings
AT: 2 Wounds: 5/5

Dog shrugs off his more noble teammates attempts.

He wasn't entirely sure the local constabulary wouldn't just lynch these guys. Probably depended on how many people died during the fires. Either way he didn't have any strong feelings about them going to jail, or running into the night. Either way worked for him.

While the others looked around, Dog took the dirty work. He went over to what was left of the axe wielding nut job and searched the body. He also took the axes because, well, it wasn't like they were being used at the moment.
