Brandon stops himself from saying something. He's already expressed his opinion that they disrupted the plan.

Besides, with a complex plan like this, they weren't likely to improvise.

Unless they were desperate.

Danni Morgan

"I was just thinking, if they set something up, and it got borked but trying to set up again was going to be tough- maybe timing, or personnel, or resources, they might do something stupid rather than do nothing at all. For a lot of people, once you've got the gun loaded and pointed at a target, it can be tough to NOT pull that trigger..." She shrugged, and looked around at the others again- new teammates, whose thoughts and approaches she didn't know...

"it doesn't matter to me either way, but we were kind of booked for the day here. Maybe we ought to call the Captain, let him decide." Police and soldiers, despite their differences, tended to see some things in similar ways- and one of those was "When in doubt, let the CO decide".

>OOC: Hopefully I'm expressing my ideas coherently here. Danni doesn't have a terribly strong opinion either way, but she would rather do extra work instead of risk failure through apathy.

Douglas Reach
HP: 1
CND: Fine

When his squad mates begin talking about how to finish up their assignment, and how much effort they should put into looking after the cop's on trial after they left the courthouse, Douglas pulled his attention away from the exterior affairs around them. He instead focused it on the team. Listening to what they said. When Danni suggests passing the decision up the chain of command his brow furrowed, remembering the Sergeant they received their briefing from.

"We don't have any other orders. That, and the attitude expressed during our briefing, tells me we've been given leeway to decide for ourselves. Let's finish this right and make sure the prisoners get back to lock up."
OOC wrote:You are doing fine expressing yourself PathFinder. Though I am not a fan of "let the NPC decide" as a means of determining what we do.

Brandon actually breathes a slight sigh of relief. It felt good that he was following a similar line of thinking as some of the others.

He feels like he is in over his head most of the time.

Conner did care anyway or the other. His body language clearly conveyed the sentiment of whatever. Having a swat van follow a prisoner van didn't come across as too brilliant of an idea to him, but what did he know. "Ready when you are. Having a swt van behind the transport might avoid any second thoughts or replans.", remarks Conner.

"We aren't trying to be subtle, sneaky, or catch someone in the act of wrong doing. The opposite. An armored SWAT van should be a deterrent. Just follow the transport."

So saying Douglas motioned to their vehicle, encouraging the others to get in. For his part he made his way over to the person who was going to be driving the prison transport and let them know that they would be escorting them until their prisoners were dropped off. Then Douglas rejoined his teammates, taking up the front passenger seat.

The armoured truck pulls out ahead of you and Danni, you smoothly pull out after it. This thing ain't too different to an armoured up humvee.l.

You are winding through the streets.
Can everyone make a listen check for me please and a notice cbeck. .

Douglas leaned back into his seat, sitting straight. His eyes were cast out his window, surveying the cityscape, pedestrians, and other vehicles on the road. The man seemed content to remain quiet, and didn't act as though he were inclined towards small talk or talking just to fill the silence. There was an alert readiness to him that was neither ridged nor relaxed. Primed to act, but not on edge.

Not seeing a Listen Skill in the book. Douglas doesn't have ranks in it either way. Here is a Wisdom check, if that is viable: Wisdom: 1D20+3 = [13]+3 = 16

Danni Morgan

Danni kept most of her attention on the road, and on the vehicle they were in convoy with. It wasn't as bad as some of the places she had driven in, but it wasn't exactly open highway either...

>OOC 2: Also, likely to be pretty quiet this week unless actively poked. A sizable portion of my team at work decided to celebrate Labor Day by quitting together (not even two weeks notice, just outright quit)- so this week is damage control and "Where do we go from here?" which is very tiring and stressful.

You all notice a bike courier riding past the armoured vehicle in front. For some reason the bike courier swerves in front of the moving vehicle. The armoured vehicle slams on it's brakes too late. The crumpled bike comes out from.under it's wheels.

@Conner. You hear what sounds like someone/thing landing lightly on the roof of your vehicle.

Actions?

"I think they improvised. I heard something land on the hood. If there is any dogs, cats, or something out there I might be able to get them to let me borrow their eyes for a minute.", says Conner. He looks out the window for any sign of animals he can jump into to get a better view of outside the van without really getting out.
Animcal Control 15 in case any dogs are walking, cats are around, pigeons out, etc that Conner can control to view through their senses.
