-Ares was one of the more eye-popping designs to me looking at this book for the first time in 1998 or so- this "Image Comics" design of an armored guy firing a Space Gun was a big "oh YEAHHHHH... Gods don't HAVE to all wear togas and use melee weapon" moment, and it permanently shifted how I viewed Greek Gods in my settings. The whole "Techno/Magic" contrast was great and inventive for the time. Ares himself is a top-tier fighter, sporting PL 15 stats and INSANE defenses owing to 9 attacks and great bonuses to avoid hits- It says Athena's beaten him several times, but the way the stats are laid out, that seems hard to believe.

I assume that Athena beat him because she out thought him instead of out fought him.
Always ask before you use someone's Original Character.
Never ever use them without permission. Only Villains do that.

-Dionysus still has his repuation as the "Party Animal" of the Gods, but the book carefully lays out that he maintains both aspects of drunkenness: the "fun" side of losing one's inhibitions, and the melancholy or violence that comes in its wake. His ruthlessness is also mentioned, such as driving a town's women insane when the town refused to worship him as a God, or turning a pirate crew into dolphins when they abducted him. He is shown to be irresponsible, but mostly friendly.
-Dionysus has unimpressive stats, being only PL 12 unarmed, but has a pretty solid weapon that boosts this by a bit.

-Poseidon ends up with some interesting backstory tied into the greater meta-plot of Rifts- after he was freed from Tartarus for plotting against Zeus, he gave up his attempts at conquest, and settled on a beautiful ocean-world where millions of mermen and mermaids lived. However, they were not spared when the Mechanoids invaded- the cyborgs killed nearly the entirety of the planet- Poseidon made a suicidal run against the flagship, but the fleet turned against it and blew it up. Poseidon barely survived, but is still full of rage towards them- he will rush to defend any planet from those beings, and is one of their most powerful enemies.

-Poseidon is a "basic" PL 14 fighter, but has some of the best Toughness in the book, plus vast amounts of Magic and Summons.

-Triton is Poseidon's son and greatest ally- the book indicates they are loyal friends as well. Triton shares Poseidon's hatred of the Mechanoids, and as a being whose spent his entire life underwater, he's even more concerned with the environment. He's only a moderately worse fighter, and has way less Toughness, but is still quite potent.

Defenses:
Dodge +15 (DC 25), Parry +15 (DC 25), Toughness +21 (+25 on Olympus), Fortitude +15, Will +12

Complications:
Responsibility (Lord of the Dead)- Hades is ultra-loyal to Zeus.

Total: Abilities: 132 / Skills: 00--0 / Advantages: 18 / Powers: 358 / Defenses: 16 (524)

-Hades is treated a bit "properly" and according with Greek Myth- a frightening figure, but more of an "a job's a job" kind of guy who tortures others because that's his position. It's stated that he's tortured Poseidon, Hera & Athena for different offenses (pointing out that this would surprise scholars of mythology), and is impeccably loyal to Zeus. His power is extreme- easily hitting PL 15 offensively and being extremely tough and durable.

Complications:
Responsibility (Guarding Hades)

Total: Abilities: 106 / Skills: 00--0 / Advantages: 12 / Powers: 64 / Defenses: 15 (197)

-Cerberus appears in his typical three-headed form (bulldog heads, in this case), along with a serpent for a tail. It mentions his defeats, but also that he's otherwise very capable and strong- in this version, he is intelligent and capable of speech. He has no Magic or Psionics, but has some staggering combat abilities- eight attacks and +5 to hit, putting him in the upper tiers of the Pantheon! He's a PL 14 ass-kicker with serious damage (Rail Gun-tier!), and accuracy.

Total: Abilities: 128 / Skills: 00--0 / Advantages: 12 / Powers: 44 / Defenses: 10 (194)

-Charon is apparently quite greedy, and rarely allows others passage for free, unless Hades has specifically requested their presence. He's way lower in power and durability than most of the Olympians.

-Another Alien Intelligence, Cronus is the "Creator" of the Olympian Pantheon- Zeus carefully hides this to avoid spreading panic, as he doesn't want mortals knowing the horror he and his siblings sprang from. Cronus created Zeus and his siblings as minions to better interact with his mortal slaves, but swallowed them up when he felt threatened by their power. As in the myth, Zeus escaped and led a revolt. Cronus has been imprisoned within Tartarus for millennia, and the spell to release him is nearly impossible to cast (it would require 50,000 P.P.E.).

-Cronus is highly powerful, but not really a match for Zeus so much- though he does have Summon Undead and "Absorb Life Energy" (a slow-working life drain of sorts that can erase the personality of his victims first).

Total: Abilities: 144 / Skills: 00--0 / Advantages: 19 / Powers: 108 / Defenses: 19 (290)

-Prometheus actually gets a listing, mostly having his mythical backstory- he sided with the Gods against the Titans, but was tortured by Zeus for giving mankind the gift of fire. However, Zeus had "forgiven him" by the time Herakles freed Prometheus from having his liver eaten daily, and is now a travelling do-gooder. His stats are immensely good- he's a great fighter who does Rail Gun-tier damage and has 40,000 M.D.C.

-Atlas is a moron, and thank goodness- his might is no joke, nor overstated by the book. He does BOOM GUN damage unarmed! This is unprecedented in the setting and puts him in a league of his own. Toughness rivaling that of Zeus doesn't help. He was Cronus's general and the mightiest of the Titans, and only surrendered when tons of Hundred-Handed Giants & Gods opposed him. Nine attacks and +6 to hit just add to it. Atlas is a PL 16 unarmed fighter with PL 20-21 defenses, able to take on Zeus himself.

Offense:
Unarmed +13 (+14 Damage, DC 29)
Whip +13 (+14 Damage & +12 Affliction, DC 29 & 22)
Initiative +4

Defenses:
Dodge +14 (DC 24), Parry +14 (DC 24), Toughness +21 (+22 on Olympus, +23 Armor), Fortitude +15, Will +12

Complications:
Motivation (Power)- Hecate wishes to become the most powerful being in existence, and doesn't care what she has to do to get it.

Total: Abilities: 134 / Skills: 00--0 / Advantages: 17 / Powers: 131 / Defenses: 16 (298)

-Hecate is depicted as "cruel, power-hungry friend" who cares for nothing other than power- she abandoned the Titans when it was clear they would lose, and didn't take part in the war with the Olympians, so Zeus spared her (also, she would be a bitch to capture). It's said she has proven that Gods do in fact get old and die, and so she fights constantly to avoid this fate. Humorously, Vince Martin draws her looking almost EXACTLY like the Splugorth Juicer from Juicer Uprising- wasp-waist, bio-armor, spiky bits everywhere, etc.- she just has a horned "Evil Barbarian" helmet and darkened eyes instead of a visor. I actually had to check to see if one was traced or not!

-Hecate naturally has ALL THE MAGIC, plus a suit of armor that actually increases her Toughness by 7,000 M.D.C., making up for otherwise weaker durability for a God.

Greater Cyclops

... fap?

GREATER CYCLOPS R.C.C.: ST +8, STA +12, INT +1, PRE +2, Protection +3, Darkvision, Immunity (Electrical Damage), Immuity (Energy, Half-Effect), Regeneration 8, 14 feet tall [69]

-Drawn as a swole babe in a fur bikini with Vince Martin's style, the Cyclopses are "Godlings" who were actually normal Cyclopses from the Palladium world given a boost by Zeus. With their stats, most will be doing about +10 damage and up to *1,800* M.D.C.! Like, these things are HUGELY powerful, and said to be Rune Masters (unbeknownst to the Splugorth, who have sold a few into slavery). For the most part, they wander the Megaverse in search of knowledge.

The Hundred-Handed

THE HUNDRED-HANDED R.C.C.: ST +13, STA +12, FIGHTING +17, INT -3, AWA +3, PRE +3, Protection +12, 60-80 feet tall [82]

-The "Hundred Handed" are given a bit of a workaround by Vince Martin, who depicts them as merely eight-armed muscular giants whose name is just an exaggeration. They have childlike intelligence and were convinced to team up with Zeus, who has put them in charge of defending Tartarus. It's said that fighting them is pointless, and one must simply outwit them, and shockingly, the stats actually back that up, for you see...

-These guys possess some of the most insane stats of the game, doing *4D6x10* damage unarmed! That's more than a BOOM GUN! And the book emphasizes that 3D6x10,000 M.D.C. can give them up to 180,000 M.D.C., 2-3 times as many as almost any God! This adds up to like +15 Damage & +26 Toughness- truly insane numbers... oh, and TWELVE ATTACKS, which is a number so high I never bothered to have a stat for it. So like... +22 to hit? This makes a Hundred-Handed about PL 19 unarmed, PL 24 defensively. Kinda makes up for them being a little dumb.

At their size, you could go with the option to have the 100-handed's attacks be considered Area Attacks against anything less the size rank 0 (30' tall and under), which would be great for taking out large groups and vehicles. They could save their actual close range fighting skills for gods and giant opponents.
