Do the traditional vulnerabilities of vampires apply to the Count? Or is he an Anne Rice vampire that collects crucifixes and sleeps in a penthouse bed instead of a coffin? I'm not sure if Elizabeth knows, but any little info would help the team.

A lot of the "traditional" vulnerabilities are myths and folk tales. Also, there is more than one type of vampire (though none of them sparkle in sunlight). Sunlight, staking with wood and religious icons do seem to be consistently effective against vampires.

With regard to Bulwark's question about something useful. This is not a trophy room, but a vault designed to protect the world from dangerous mystical objects. Anything useful for killing vampires would be in the hands of a trusted vampire hunter. Anything helpful in here would be more dangerous to use than the benefit it might provide.

As you enter the room, you fan out and find people in 3 areas.

One is dressed in a weird sort of scuba suit with a large cape behind him. He is holding a small idol just grabbed from a smashed case.

Another area is men dressed as bikers. One is thin and spindly, and the other is larger, holding a golden axe. They seem to just there breaking stuff.

And finally, there is a tall, pale man dressed in an immaculate, but older style suit. He is holding a spear. Behind him is a woman who appears to be made of sand.

The people breaking things. I'll edit my post to account for that mistake.

Since the initial "surprise attack" has taken place, do you want us to roll for initiative? Do we all get a surprise attack before initiative is rolled?

If you want to roll your initiative, go ahead. Otherwise, I will roll for everyone as usual and post tonight, with Luke automatically going first since he kicked it off.

But unless you already took a stealth action of some sort, you won't have any bonus when your turn comes up.

Edit: The Shield went first

Fly, you didn't declare an Aim action prior to the fight.

I'm sorry, I had assumed since we were planning a surprise attack that we didn't need a stealth roll to maintain it, the attack would be a surprise.
If we did you could have asked I would have provided it.
I'm trying not to flood the game with unnecessary rolls, but I'm starting to feel like the devil is in the details.
