Ricardo is the last playable character acquired in Shadow Hearts: From The New World. I built him because I liked him. I still do, really. He's a guitarist and singing good enough to earn the attention of Al Capone's consigliere and the love of Capone's sister. Also his guitar comes equipped with a machine gun, mini missile launcher, and a flamethrower, and that's frickin' badass. 'Nuff said.

Johnny is the protagonist of Shadow Hearts: From The New World. He's a Kid Detective and The Person Who Needs Everything Explained To Them. That last part is fair, because he's going from finding lost cats to dealing with more supernatural crap than you can shake a stick at. Anyway, the idea was that he's normally that PL6 Kid Detective. A worthy sidekick to any Golden Age Hero, aside from the whole...cuts enemies with a knife instead of punching...thing. And then he transforms and starts booting head like a Modern Ager. Oh, and him being able to transform is a spoiler. Sorry.

Ultimate Power had a lot of wacky powers in it. Color Control was one of the wackiest. 3E doesn't have it, probably because it doesn't do anything Illusion doesn't, so I had to work around that. The Paintbrust Staff is just cool. Crime never sleeps, and with it neither does this fella.

This last one is just...fun. I remember when I was a kid, reading Legion of Super-Heroes comics and coming across Color Kd, and even then I knew enough about science to realize controlling color was NOT useless. Either you change the physical properties of an object or control light frequencies; it means you can do things like become semi-invisible, neutralize lasers and EM radiation, blind foes with clouds of blackness, all sorts of useful effects. It took Legion writers years more to realize all this somehow.

And if you combined the power with a decent advantage/skill set, it makes for a pretty solid, if funky, character build.

All my best.

I was skimming the boards yesterday and I read the name this latest build as Color Controlling Cow.

Rereading properly, it makes a lot more sense. Albeit not quite as funny. :)

All the way back in 2015, I was browsing the Atomic Think Tank, and somebody had made a Moonstone build. I thought that I could make it PC viable, and so I did. This is a conversion to 3E of that, with some actual descriptors on the array.

May I ask why didn't you gathered all movement powers in an array? I liked the big gravity control array, much better than a standart 24 pp one.

You would have to travel back in time and ask the Eternal Phoenix of 6 and a half years ago. Because the Eternal Phoenix of right now has no earthly idea what I was thinking when I made some of the original 2e versions of these. Best I can say is that I didn't see it was redundant due to inexperience building. Like I said in the first post, some of these are rough around the edges.

Hey remember that ATT thread I mentioned in the last post? Yeah, they had built Songbird too. I remember specifically that they had put her force field in her (in that build) dynamic array. Always seemed kind of crazy to me, but maybe some people like it, the weirdoes. With that said, this is the second build so far I'd actually play myself. The first being the literal first in Speedster Archer. I dunno if that's a recommendation or not, but there it is. There's another couple of those in Part 1, I think, but it'll be a little while yet before we get to them.
