I was actually thinking of a pair of short-swords, one silvered, one iron, with an enchantment that shrinks/expands them from knife to sword size and both blessed. They'll be devices of course, but not too expensive I think. Something to aim for when we get power points.
I think, considering the state of affairs on earth is in and what they usually encounter, the swords would be more practical than lightsabers.

Could you have a single sword that changes descriptor (silver, Iron, etc.) as well as size, rather than two separate blades? Fair point about the risk of injuring yourself with a light saber though!

Maybe. It would depend on how many power points we get. Although one that switches descriptors might be cheaper!

If it's OK with you, Lilly will upgrade this:

Alright, I shifted out some stuff on Amy's build, taking away a couple of feats (defensive attack and power attack), adding All out attack instead and equipment 1 for her critters. That left me with 3 points to play with and came up with the sword. It's very pared down from what I wanted, but I think it fits her character and build fairly well. She'll keep the knives as clutch pieces.

Oh yes, do we get any Hero Points back too?
