- Adorkable: Harry is horribly, horribly awkward in social situations, especially when it involves attractive young maidens; which is unfortunate since his two best friends are highly attractive young ladies and both of them are interested in furthering their relationship with him.

Complications
- Hesitance: Lyra lost a lot of friends when she traveled from the distant future to the present day and age, and is as such very reluctant to form new bonds for fear that she may be forced to leave them behind if she ever returns to the time period from whence she came.
- Impulsive: Lyra greatly enjoys her superhuman strength and has a lot of fun Smashing things when she engages someone in battle. She would also willingly sacrifice her own life to defend the lives of the people who fight alongside of her.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Lyra spent her formative years in training as a soldier for the United Sisterhood's military, and will therefore do what she must in order to obey a just authority figure.
- Normal Identity: When Lyra is enraged, she loses access to her superhuman abilities (except for her pheromones), which also causes her primary attributes to degrade to the following values: STR -1, STA 0 and FGT 3, with appropriate adjustments to her Skill modifiers. She can also revert to this state without getting angry.
- Power Loss: Lyra’s physical prowess are tied to her emotions, and unlike her father, she gets weaker when her anger becomes more prominent. Therefore, effects which induce an artificial rage will cause her to become Impaired if she fails her Resistance check by one degree, Disabled at two degrees of failure, and she will revert to her human form when she fails by three or more degrees.
- Relationships: Lyra is the time-displaced daughter of a woman from the 23rd Century known only as Thundra and the modern day man known as Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk). This was made possible due to the advances humanity had made in genetic sequencing and clone technology by the time that Thundra was ready to have a daughter.

Ab Epistulis
Premise: Harry Potter had thought his life after Voldemort would be a cakewalk; but it turns out his girlfriend was more interested in a quidditch career than a family, and his two best friends refused to stop mooching off of him. Of course, this was all before he discovered his secret family tradition while slaying a rabid vampire.
Required Inclusions:
- The Potter family must be long-standing members of a secret organization known as the Men of Letters, which is a group that stands in direct opposition to the Watcher’s Council.
- Harry must discover his family’s connection to the Men of Letters as a direct result of a fateful encounter with a rabid vampire.
- Harry must find a journal or grimoire left behind by his ancestors that points him in the direction of Sunnydale, California. This should also make him aware of the Slayers.
- Harry must make the conscious decision to aid one of the Slayers after he arrives in Sunnydale, though it will be left up to the author to decide which Slayer gains his assistance.
- Harry must remain entirely human, though he can acquire certain mystical benefits after completing various tasks for the Powers That Be.
- Harry must acquire an additional power up from either a ritual, mystical tattoo or the use of temporary enhancement agents such as potions or reinforcement spells.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should choose Faith Lehane as the Slayer who will receive his assistance, and she should also be his primary romantic interest.
- Harry should take both Willow Rosenberg and Tara Maclay on as his apprentices in the art of magic, helping them to avoid the blunders of their canonical counterparts.
- Harry should encounter Faith before she makes her debut in Sunnydale, but after she has lost her Watcher, with Harry quickly taking said Watcher’s place as her mentor.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could somehow end up with a harem that consists of Faith, Willow and Tara.
- Fenrir Greyback and his pack of werewolves could make a return appearance as antagonists for Harry, the Slayers and Scoobies.

Complications
- Androphobia: Not only does Faith believe that every male on the planet is secretly a pervert who would like nothing better than to have their way with any woman who enters their field of vision, but she feels extreme discomfort whenever she is touched by a man. The problem is that the act of slaying monsters causes Faith to enter a state of hyper-arousal that can only be relieved by a man.
- Enemy: The vampire known as Kakistos would like to find Faith so that he can finish the job he started when he murdered her original Watcher, Diana Dormer.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Faith wants both family and friends to call her own, as well as the respect that would normally be given to a Slayer for protecting the masses. The problem is that she despises her parents, grew up without any friends, and likes killing just a little bit too much to be concerned about protecting the masses.
- Nemeses: Faith is the daughter of Pat and Janice Lehane, both of whom are alcoholics, with her father also being indebted to "Handsome" Jimmy Mulligan, who is the leader of an Irish mafia gang that operates out of Boston.
- Significant Other: Faith has begun to develop romantic feelings for her honorary Watcher, Harry Potter, and it would seem these feelings are mutual. It needs to be said that Harry is one of the only men in the world who Faith would willingly settle down with because they suffered through equally traumatic childhoods.

The Alpha Legacy Brainstorm & Notes

The Alpha Legacy
Premise: When Harry Potter killed Voldemort, he activated a curse on his family that has been dormant since the middle ages, but which actually dates all the way back to the stone age.
Required Inclusions:
- Voldemort’s death at Harry’s hands must somehow meet the requirements for activating dormant werewolf genes, which Harry inherited from his mother’s side of the family tree.
- Harry must be a direct descendant of someone who was part of the Original Werewolf Pack, though it will be up to the author to decide which member stands as Harry’s ancestor.
- Harry must decide to travel the world after his first full moon passes him by, and he must withdraw his assets from all of his Gringotts Vaults before it can be seized.
- Harry’s first transformation, whether he halts it or not, must occur at least a year before the first episode of the Vampire Diaries.
- Harry must eventually meet and begin traveling with at least one of the following characters: Mason Lockwood, Hayley Marshall, Elijah Mikaelson, Lexi Branson, Rose-Marie & Jules.
- Harry must settle in Mystic Falls at some point during either the first or second season of the Vampire Diaries, however it is up to the author as to when he is revealed as a Werewolf.
- Harry must hinder Klaus’ attempts to break the Hybrid Curse, though how he does this, and how successful his efforts are, will be up to the author.
- Harry must be paired with at least one of the following: Hayley Marshall, Rebekah Mikaelson, Katerina Petrova, Caroline Forbes, Daphne Greengrass, Bonnie Bennet and/or Rose-Marie.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Most of Harry’s friends, and the Wizarding World as a whole, should turn their backs on him once they discover that he’s a Werewolf.
- Harry should have the powers which are held in common by the Original Werewolf Pack, since he is one of their direct descendants, including control over his transformation.
- Harry should take his godson, Teddy Lupin, with him when he leaves Great Britain, though it is up to the author whether Andromeda Tonks will accompany them on their journey.
- Harry should have the ability to shift into a humanoid wolf form, as well as the ability to fully transform into a wolf, and he should be able to do both at will (see above).
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could become far more sarcastic and cynical in the aftermath of Voldemort’s demise, owing both to his newfound freedom and his new existential status.
- Fenrir Greyback could have been another individual who is descended from the original werewolf pack, even if only because of his apparent control over the transformation.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being romantically interested in men.
- Harry engaging men in carnal activity.
- Harry the Malevolent Emo Doormat.

Complications
- Accident: If Henry impregnates a female Human or Vampire, then she will be permanently transformed into either a Werewolf or Werewolf-Vampire Hybrid.
- Fame: As Harry Potter, Henry is famous within Wizarding Britain for the part he played in vanquishing the dark wizard who liked to claim that his name was "Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Henry will always keep his word once he has given it to someone, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Motivation: Protector: Henry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.

Complications
- Enemies: Vampires and magical humans have a long and tumultuous history, with the very existence of vampires being the direct result of an ancient witch placing a curse the Mikaelson family. Suffice it to say that most vampires would react very negatively to the discovery that Daphne is capable of magic, especially if they knew that she is affiliated with a werewolf pack.
- Guy Magnet: Daphne tends to attract male attention wherever she goes due to the fact that she is possibly the single most attractive witch in her year-group at Hogwarts.
- Honor: Daphne will always keep her word once she has given it to someone, and strives to uphold the common good.
- Motivation: Protector: Daphne will do whatever it takes to keep her loved ones safe from harm, and it is only her sense of honor that prevents her from becoming truly yandere in her efforts to achieve that goal.
- Relationships: Daphne is the older sister of a girl known as Astoria Greengrass, as well as the eldest of Elizabeth and Cyrus Greengrass's children. She is also one of Henry Evans' three mates.
- Responsibility: Andromeda Tonks has tasked Daphne with looking after her grandson, Teddy Lupin, on each of the nights when his godfather will be preoccupied with controlling the other werewolves in the Eveningshade Pack. In other words, it is her job to protect Teddy from the Big Bad Wolves... and also from the vampires who apparently reside in Mystic Falls.

Hum maybe by forcing the muse to conform to your will instead of the other way around? I know it’s not that simple but it can’t hurt to try.

Well, I have tried that, usually it works for a few hours before I get bored and inevitably move on to something else. But thanks for the suggestion, all the same. It probably is all I can do to keep trying that way, and hope I eventually get something to stick.
