Craze
HP: 0
CND: Fine

Unfortunately, Craze didn't keep looking like a tasty enough target. Like all new things, he thought he knew it all. He was quickly learning he didn't. Too ashamed of disappointing his Shaper, Craze just circles back in pursuit of the rogues now.
Yeah, bad case of writers block last few days, so just trying to keep writing through it.

Scout flashes an image of the scene he had witnessed at the ruins. D'Tan bearly get a look at it before the impish Creation is flying off after Craze again. The Shaper points down the line of trampled brush when he sees the pair heading towards the ruins, rather than their companions.

"That way."

... the young Shaper state. Nothing more. Soon their creator faded away, swallowed up in the vegetation the two fliers left in their wake. When they arrive, Pounce and Mind decide that it is best that some of them remain with D'Tan, and return to him while Meat Shield, Craze, and Scout decide what to do about the Rogue Fyora problem. Meat Shield was saying something about an ambush ...

Craze
HP: 0
CND: Fine

I can try to lure the rogues into an ambush if the two of you can hide somewhere. Maybe some trees or rocks to hide behind., offers up Craze via the relay. He knows D'Tan's voice, so maybe he could mimick that. The rogues weren't stupid, but Craze also had it in his DNA, literally, to do this. So, he wasn't going to not try.

*Yes, let's!* sends Meat Shield enthusiastically. They look around for a suitable place for themselves and Scout to hide...

Scout
HP: 1, LP: 2, Condition: Fine

"Agreed."

Scout isn't thrilled about the idea of fighting these creatures. He clearly isn't built for combat.

But he wasn't there before, and Shaper D'Tan was injured. So, he would do his best now to make up for it.

Craze, you need to find the Fyora before you can lure them into an ambush. How do you intend to do that?

Meat Shield
Hero Points: 2; Luck Points: 0; Condition: Fine

Meat Shield looks around to find a place to hide. They settle on a group of bushes arranged in a rough ring, whose foliage is dense in all directions enough to hide within, but open enough for them to see out relatively clearly. They leap into the centre of the rough ring of plants and lurk there, peering out as they wait for the enemy, when they plan to leap forth and have at them!
OOC wrote: Meat Shield Lies in Ambush: 1D20+11 = [3]+11 = 14; unfortunately it might not be as good a hiding place as Meat Shield hoped for...

They ready an action to leap out and attack should the opportunity arise.

Scout
HP: 1, LP: 2

Scout looks around at the ambush site and tries to figure out what is best. His claws are sharp, but small. They don't do a lot of damage. But he could be a distraction for the others. His speed is helpful, and he can always try out that trick he has been practicing.

Scout picks a spot in the line that Craze and the creatures will be moving in, but past Meat Shield, so he will be behind them.

Then he moves up higher into the trees, but not too high that he can't drop down and draw their fire as soon as Craze flies past.
Scout is Invisible
Stealth: 1d20+13 19

Ready an action to make an Illusion of himself that flies down in front of the creatures after they have moved past Meat Shield

Craze
HP: 0
CND: Fine

Craze wasn't a tracker. Shew him a footprint and he'd tell you it's a foot print. A broken twig, well there is a lot of those in the world. Getting noticed, now that was something he could do. It didn't take a tracker to find someone when you make them find you. As the others hid, Craze started doing what he did best, make noise. Making a token effort to hide his tracks, Craze starts making a path through the trees. He keeps his ears open, sniffer going, and generally on alert.Still, he moves in a manner such that he is looking for something, which he was.

Given his current methods, he knew he had a slim chance of finding the rogues, but maybe they would find him. As he flew through the trees, he would occasionally speak in a tone similar to D'Tan giving orders and the such. "Keeping looking for the rogues.", "Try over there", and other such remarks. All the while, he didn't stray too far form the ambush to make it useless.

On first sign of the creatures, he heads back to the ambush spot.
Deception 2
..I give up. The dice just don't like Craze being deceitful.
Perception 27 he has extended scent if it helps.

Craze flies around the ambush site making noise and acting as a lure. This means rather than looking for the Rogues, he relies on them coming to him. There is no rushed response to attack him. No blitzed assault to take advantage of a lone target. The forest is alive with sounds and smells. The avian flies around making a scene for what feels like a long time.

Then, out of nowhere Craze picks up on a reptilian scent. Scout sees a flash of brownish-red scales amidst the foliage. The Fyora have encircled the ambush site. The two fliers notice the threat just as the raptor-like Creations launch their attack. Scout, in response manifests an image of himself near the hostiles. One of them sniffs at it, then proceeds to ignore the illusion as it opens it's mouth in preparation to expel a gout of fire.
OOC wrote:The Rogue Fyora notice all of you as they sneak around. Craze and Scout notice them just as they launch their counter-ambush. Meat Shield is caught off guard and will not be able to act the first round of combat.

To save time I rolled Initiaitve for you.

Scout's Readied Action triggers. It is also Scout's turn.

Ball of fire come in from all directions, one blazes past Meat Shield, hitting a bush and lighting it aflame. A split second later two more slam into him, center mass. Fire comes flying in at Craze, hitting from in front and behind. After the Rogue have launched their attack, they begin moving again, preposition, but maintaining sixty feet distance from your group. All spread out. Their bipedal frames half bouncing as they move through the thick brush.
OOC wrote:Two Fyora attack Craze and three attack Meat Shield. Two hit each of you. You both need to make two DC 19 Toughness checks.

Meat Shield and Craze are up. After they go Scout may act as well.

Meat Shield
Hero Points: 2; Luck Points: 0; Condition: Dazed, Bruised -2
OOC wrote: Meat Shield Toughness Checks:
1D20+9 = [3]+9 = 12
1D20+9 = [2]+9 = 11

So, missed by 7, giving Bruised -1 and Dazed for the first attack, and missed by 9 (taking into account the first Bruised) so another Bruised -1 for -2 total, and Dazed again for the second attack. Don't think the two Dazeds stack...

Craze
HP: 0
CND: -2 damage, staggered

The two fire blasts hit Craze and throw him for a loop. He was starting to realize how useless he was in a proper battle. Unfortunately, the lesson came a bit late as he was burned and not quite in optimal fighting capability. He hated to see the others fight alone though. So, he let out a caw in hopes of capturing as many rogues as possible. If he was to only live for a week, he might as well be some utility.
Toughness 13, 6
First left him dazed and -1. Second leaves him -2 and staggered.
I gotta stop making characters defense shifted.

Affliction 7(Will save, Dazed, Stunned, Incapacitated; Extras: Area Cone +1/rank) vs as many rogues he can get in the area.
