Complications
- Fame: Harry is famous all throughout the worldwide Wixen community for the role he played in vanquishing the Dark Lord Voldemort. This means that his mere presence in one of their communes will see him hounded by the Wixen equivalent to Muggle Paparazzi.
- Honor: Harry prefers to judge people based on their actions, and not their words. Furthermore, if someone is in trouble, he's always ready to lend them a helping hand.
- Involuntary Transformation: Harry will automatically transform into a Dire Wolf on the night of a Full Moon, with no ability to transform back into his human or hybrid form until the following morning. On the plus side, he retains his human mind throughout the transformation.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Harry left Wizarding Britain behind because he firmly believes that nothing good will ever come from pretending to be something he's not. This means that while he doesn't openly advertise the fact that he is a Werewolf, that he won't deny that fact should someone confront him about it.
- Mythic Weakness: When ingested, Wolfsbane will cause Harry to become Impaired, and then Disabled, over the course of several minutes to hours. Furthermore, if the substance touches his skin, then it will inflict 5 ranks of Damage, as though it were burning him. The exception to this complication is for Wolfsbane that has been brewed into the form of a Wolfsbane Potion, which won't help or hurt Harry since he can already retain his mind on the night of the full moon.
- Nemeses: The people who were closest to Harry when he was younger know that he is a werewolf, meaning that he firmly believes he can never return to Magical Britain lest his secret be revealed to all and sundry.
- Power Loss: Harry must be capable of performing the necessary wand motions, as well as speaking the requisite incantations, in order to use his magical abilities, meaning that effects which restrict his ability to freely move, or which prevent him from speaking, could cost him the ability to perform his magic.
- Responsibility: Harry feels it is his duty to protect those who are unable to protect themselves, and for this reason, leads a pack of werewolves in hopes that he can control them during their monthly brush with the wilder side of life.

Unfortunately, she lacks the ability to retain her rational mind in this form without the presence of a Werewolf Paragon or consumption of the Wolfsbane Potion.

Reputation: People tend to assume Tracey's a harsh disciplinarian, but deep down she's as soft as butter.
- Responsibility: Tracey reluctantly acts as a surrogate mother for the other members of Harry's pack because she knows that if she fails do so, then no one else is going to waste their time.

- Bane: Ingesting the substance known as Vervain will cause Caroline to become Impaired, then Disabled, and ultimately Incapacitated, though the speed at which this occurs depends on the amount she consumes. Having it come into contact with her body will deal Rank 5 Damage, as though she were being burned.
- Forbiddance: Caroline can't enter a private dwelling without verbal permission from one of the residents.
- Impulsive: Caroline is the sort of woman who would jump at the chance to give someone a makeover. However, that doesn't necessarily mean she is particularly gifted at said art form.
- Lifelinked: If someone ever manages to succeed in killing Niklaus Mikaelson, then every vampire in his Sireline, including Caroline, will be quick to follow in him to their final slumber.
- Motivation: Thrills: Caroline is a very smart woman, but doesn't like to have unrealistic expectations piled upon her, and as such, usually pretends to be a dumb, if demanding, blonde so that she can truly enjoy her life.
- Mythic Weakness: Unless she is wearing her Daywalker Amulet, Caroline will suffer a Rank 4 Damage effect for each round that she is exposed to direct sunlight. Furthermore, she is considered to be Vision Disabled when exposed to direct sunlight without the benefit of her Daywalker Ring.
- Nemesis: Caroline spent several months as a human blood bank for Damon Salvatore, and now finds him to be a rather loathsome individual thanks to the fact that transitioning into a vampire permanently freed her from all the compulsions he had been using on her. Unfortunately, she wouldn't have much luck taking out her ire on the man, since he's a fair bit stronger than she is.
- Obnoxious: Caroline feels absolutely no shame in using her good looks to get what she wants, even if what she wants is another woman's boyfriend.
- Stake to the Heart: If a piercing weapon made of wood is driven into Caroline's heart, then she will desiccate and die immediately afterwards.

The Hollow Witch
Premise: During one of her crazy adventures, things took a turn for the worst for Haruka Potter; but, she managed to pull through… or so it seemed. Unfortunately, she is very different now from when she started, and will need to find a way to keep on living, even though she’s not exactly alive anymore.
Required Inclusions:
- Haruka should possess a similar moral and ethical alignment to her masculine counterpart, though one which is perhaps a bit more jaded due to how badly things have gone for her.
- Unbeknownst to everyone, including Haruka herself for a time, the Girl Who Lived is very much one of the Living Dead, albeit one who looks more alive than most others.
- When and how she dies and subsequently rises into a state of Undeath will be left up to the author, but it is recommended that this transpire when she is in her mid to late teens.
- What makes people believe that she is still alive, is that she seems completely unchanged aside from a few minor oddities that belie her vitality.
- Such clues must include the fact that her presence unsettles mundane animals, that she no longer needs to sleep or consume food to survive, and a diminished emotional capacity.
- When Haruka realizes the truth will be left up to the author, but it must occur either on her own initiative or after an observant individual broaches the subject with her (e.g. Hermione).
- After realizing the truth, Haruka must try to figure out what occurred to transform her into one of the Undead, and whether there is a way in which to reverse the process.
- Now that she is dead, Haruka must discover at least one strange, mystical and/or necromantic ability that she teaches herself and uses for her own betterment.
- All romantic pairings are permissible for the purposes of this fic except for those involving male-slash, as the author of this story just doesn’t want to write such content.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story should be a crossover with the Vampire Diaries and The Originals, with Haruka ending up in a romantic pairing with either Niklaus Mikaelson or Damon Salvatore.
- Because she is effectively dead, Haruka should be completely immune to the effects of Dementors and Boggarts, though they will still affect the living Beings in her vicinity.
- To go along with the idea that this is a crossover the Vampire Diaries, Haruka should purchase a house in Mystic Falls which she will move into near the start of this story.
- Haruka should have a weird effect on other Undead creatures, and in fact, it could be that her status as the Mistress of Death is what caused her transformation.
Optional Inclusions:
- Haruka could technically be a living entity, but one which registers as an “Undead” when observed using any form of magic that is capable of detecting such things.
- To go along with Haruka being the Mistress of Death, she could return to “life” shortly after each time that she’s “killed” due to the tether her existence now has to the mortal coil.
Forbidden Things:
- Immediate deduction of Haruka’s existential status.
- Haruka the malevolent emo doormat.
- The inclusion of male-slash pairings.

Complications
- Debt: All Haruka wants is to make the people who knew her when she was young proud of the woman she has become in the present age; notwithstanding the Dursley family.
- Impulsive: Waiting around makes Haruka antsy. She'd much rather do something stupid, than do nothing at all. This was never more in evidence than when she went on a fool's errand to "save" her Godfather, and wound up witnessing him fall through the Veil of Death.

Animal I Have Become Brainstorm & Notes

Animal I Have Become
Premise: Shortly after killing Voldemort, Harry Potter discovers that he has unknowingly triggered a latent genetic trait that he seemingly inherited from his mother. One which drives him away from Wizarding Society, lest they turn on him in much the same way that they did his honorary uncle, Remus Lupin.
Required Inclusions:
- Voldemort’s death at the hands of Harry Potter must activate our hero’s latent Werewolf Gene, which he inherited from his mother, which means he is different from an Afflicted Werewolf.
- Harry must have the ability to retain full control over himself while in the form of a wolf, which could be due to the fact that he is not an Afflicted Werewolf and because he is a Magical Being.
- Harry must decide to travel the world after discovering that he is a werewolf, which will also allow him to distance himself from the unfortunate prejudices of Wizarding Britain.
- Harry’s first transformation must occur at least one year prior to the first episode of the Vampire Diaries, though the exact timing will be up to the author.
- At some point during his travels, Harry must meet at least one of the following: Mason Lockwood, Hayley Marshall, Elijah Mikaelson, Lexi Branson, Rose-Marie, and/or Jules.
- Harry must settle in Mystic Falls during either the first or second season of the Vampire Diaries, however, it is up to the author to decide when he is revealed as a werewolf.
- Harry must, in some way, hinder Klaus’ attempts to break the Sun and the Moon Curse, though the specific way in which he does this is up to the author.
- Harry must be paired with at least one of the following: Katerina Petrova, Hayley Marshall, Rebekah Mikaelson, Caroline Forbes, Daphne Greengrass, Rose-Marie or Bonnie Bennet.
Preferred Inclusions:
- The vast majority of Harry’s friends in the wizarding world should turn their back on him after it is discovered that he is a werewolf. Their reasoning is up to the author.
- Harry’s personality should become more cynical and sarcastic following the demise of Voldemort, due in part to his treatment at the hands of Wizarding Britain.
- Harry should possess some form of immortality, which could possibly be due to his status as the Master of Death, though the exact nature of this quality is up to the author.
- Harry should file for a legal name change so that he is known as Henry Evans, rather than Harry Potter, even if only to avoid being hounded by the American wizarding populace.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could take Teddy with him when he leaves Wizarding Britain, with Andromeda being one of the few people in that community who stays in contact with him.
- Harry could possess an antagonistic relationship with some of the key players in Mystic Falls, particularly in regards to Elena Gilbert, who is not the most selfless of individuals.

Complications
- Determinator: As far as Henry is concerned, giving up in the face of adversity is never an option that he is willing to take!
- Enemy: Harry is actively working on thwarting Niklaus Mikaelson's attempts to break the Sun and Moon Curse because he has discovered that once Klaus is cured, he'll be able to take control of any werewolf pack he comes across, and Henry knows that he's the sort of man who would use them as cannon fodder.
- Involuntary Transformation: Henry will automatically transform into a Dire Wolf on the night of a full moon, but as far as mechanics go, this transformation is identical to when he is using his Lycanthropic Enhancements. Like an ordinary wolf, however, he is unable to speak with humans and vampires on the night of the full moon.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Henry is completely unable to ignore a cry for help, and is also dedicated to helping people that are in need of any form of assistance he might able to provide them with.
- Mythic Weakness: Henry will become Impaired, then Disabled, and finally Incapacitated, when exposed to Wolfsbane in an undiluted form. Fortunately, he isn't allergic to silver in the way that an Afflicted Werewolf would be.
- Prejudice: Werewolves are widely feared as savage beasts that will kill anything they lay eyes upon, which is only true on the night of the full moon, and even then, Henry is capable of retaining his rational mind during that time.
- Significant Others: The other members of Henry's pack mean the world to him, while everything else in his life comes in second place. As of the moment, however, his pack consists only of three people, himself as the Alpha, his mate, Lavender Brown, and his godson, Teddy Lupin. He is also playing host to a female Alpha Werewolf by the name of Hayley Marshall.

Complications
- Anti-Social: Lavender tends to be a purveyor of doom and gloom, as she feels that her world would be one without hope if not for Henry's intercession in her life. This is personality quirk probably traces its origin back to her highly developed Inner Eye.
- Honor: Lavender would sacrifice her life and soul in order to protect the innocent, especially when it concerns her youngest packmate, Teddy Lupin, who has only just turned four years old.
- Involuntary Transformation: As is the case with Henry, Lavender turns into a wolf on the night of the full moon. Unlike Henry, however, Lavender has no control over herself unless she is in the presence of an Alpha Werewolf, or she's consumed the Wolfsbane Potion. In effect, her stats change to what they are under her Lycanthropic Enhancement, but her Intellect drops to a -5, and she is treated as though she were under the effects of the Temper complication.
- Monstrous: In their transformed state, an Afflicted Werewolf really looks nothing like a wolf, and is instead a rather horrific and equally emaciated amalgam between a human and canine that is not all pleasant to look at. This is also the easiest way to distinguish them from a Natural Werewolf, who actually do look like wolves in their transformed state.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Lavender tries to help those in need, no matter what the personal cost.
- Mythic Weakness: Not only is Lavender allergic to undiluted Wolfsbane, but she is also allergic to silver, and thus cannot benefit from her Accelerated Healing or Impervious Toughness against weapons made out of silver, with the former case being due to the fact that her body treats Silver as an Incurable source of damage.
- Power Loss: The Curse of Lycanthropy effect will not work on other Werewolves, Vampires, or their respective variations; nor will it work on abominations, such as Dementors, Unintelligent Undead or Animals. This means it is primarily useful against living Beings, if you can call such an effect "useful."
- Prejudice: Werewolves are widely feared as savage beasts that will kill anything they lay eyes upon, which is only true on the night of the full moon.
Quirk: Lavender likes to read and memorize poetry, since it keeps her calm and brings her fleeting moments of happiness.
- Troubled Past: Lavender was afflicted with the Lycanthropy Curse during the Battle of Hogwarts when she was attacked by Fenrir Greyback, which she only just barely managed to survive. This is an event which she doesn't like to talk about, since she feels that her personal trauma would only be a burden to her friends.

Werewolf Classifications
I suppose I should specifically outline the caste system I am using for the werewolves in this story. It is as follows:

- Alphas (Benefit, Status 3): These are your Pack Leaders and can be either gender. Some are born as Alphas, others gain that status by defeating the reigning Alpha of a given pack. In the latter case, it is almost always a Beta or an Omega who challenges an Alpha for leadership.
- Betas (Benefit, Status 1): These types of Werewolves make up the vast majority of any given pack, and can be of either gender.
- Omegas (Benefit, Status 0): These are the runts of a Werewolf pack, and tend to be exiled from whichever pack they are part of. Remus Lupin fits into this class based solely on the fact that he is not part of a recognized pack.
- Gammas (Benefit, Status 1): These can only occur in Afflicted Werewolf Packs, or Werewolf-Vampire Hybrid Packs, since they are the result of a Werewolf being created with a Sire-Bond to the Alpha Wolf of their Pack.
- Deltas (Benefit, Status 2): Are almost always female, and are usually the mates of a male Alpha. They are noted for being significantly faster than most other supernatural species, but far weaker than even a Beta Werewolf.

Beyond that, I am not including the other types of werewolf found on the Variants and Types page of the Full Moon High wiki, which is where I got most of the information listed above. This is because I only need the above listed social strata's to properly represent a Werewolf Pack as it would be portrayed in a crossover between Potterverse and Vampire Diaries. Please note that Vampire Diaries does not normally include any of these classifications beyond the Alpha Wolf.

The Price is Right
Premise: There is much more to magic than learning to repeat spells verbatim. Power and intent play just as large a part in the equation. It would seem that Harry Potter was willing to pay any price to get away from his Relatives, so long as it didn’t involve a coffin. Enter Crowley, the King of the Crossroad Demons, stage right.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must somehow manage to get his hands on the materials needed to summon a Crossroads Demon while he is still living at Privet Drive.
- Canonically, summoning a Demon is a rather complex affair, but Harry must be so desperate that his magic will grant his wish in spite of this fact.
- Harry’s act of surviving an otherwise instantly fatal curse must have made him into a hot commodity for any Demon who is capable of snagging his soul.
- Following the previous requirement, Harry’s contract is so high class that it can only be overseen by the King of the Crossroads himself.
- Instead of giving Harry a mere ten years to enjoy his freedom, Crowley must decide to keep the boy, training him as a Bounty Hunter, since mortal agents can bypass Anti-Demon Wards.
- Voldemort must have made a Demon deal and weaseled out of it by shattering his soul so that the Hellhounds are incapable of finding him.
- Crowley will eventually make another Deal with Harry: in exchange for Riddle’s complete soul, he won’t go to Hell when his initial contract expires.
- To even the odds between his protegee and Tom Riddle, Crowley will eventually change Harry into an artificial Half-Devil to enhance his already considerable power.
- Since nothing in life or death is free, Harry will have to pay for his new powers with the soul fragment embedded into the curse scar adorning his forehead.
- Harry must meet the Winchester brothers at least once, bonus points if he bails them out of a situation caused by an unfortunate lack of preparation on their part.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should maintain a Neutral Gray ethical and moral alignment, since Crawley himself is a Lawful Dark individual. This will allow Harry to retain most of his canonical personality.
- The story should include a scene where Harry is fighting an enemy near Hogwarts Castle, with the climax of the fight occurring within the Great Hall during the evening meal.
- Instead of using a wand, Harry should employ a less obvious and/or flimsy magical focus, with suggestions including a pair of bracers, or even an enchanted ring.
- The mortal agents of supernatural entities, like Angels and Demons, should “benefit” from a measure of infamy with Europe’s magical enclaves.
- Albus Dumbledore should have been entirely unaware of the unfortunate living conditions Harry was suffering under until after the boy’s disappearance from the Dursley residence.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could learn how to run a business and manage his political affairs from Crowley, who views such lessons as a good investment in the future of magical society.
- A prank war could erupt between Loki, the surviving Marauders (Sirius & Remus) and the Weasley Twins. Please note, this is dependent on Harry introducing them to one another.
- Harry could end up with a harem that may, or may not, include a demon or other supernatural entity that has taken the form of an attractive woman.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry ending up in hell after failing to uphold his end of the contract.
- Harry joining forces with either Albus Dumbledore or Tom Riddle.
- Harry becoming a martyr on behalf of Wixen Society.

Complications
- Curse Sworn: A fair chunk of Harry's supernatural powers derive from a Faustian Pact that he agreed to with Crowley, the King of the Crossroads Demon, and in order for him to avoid being damned to hell, Harry must succeed in collecting the fragments of Voldemort's soul before sending the Dark Lord himself to the afterlife, where he will take Harry's place in the pits of eternal suffering.
- Impulsive: The best way to get Harry to do something is to tell him he won't be able to succeed at a given task.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is loyal to his friends and surrogate family, not to any ideals. He wouldn't even bat an eye if everyone else in the world was consigned to Hell.
- Power Loss: Harry's regeneration does not work on damage caused by Holy Weapons, such as Angel Blades.
- Quirk: The first thing Harry does when arriving at a new place, is to note the locations of everything valuable, or where such things could be hidden.
- Trait of Consequence: Harry's left eyebrow will quiver whenever he is telling a lie, which means it is almost impossible for him to successfully bluff someone who is familiar with his mannerisms.

The Heretic Who Lived
Premise: When Harry awakens with no memory of an attack, he thinks things can't get any worse, but then he discovers a thirst he’s never had before, and now, he's faced with a choice: consume the blood of another living creature and become a vampire, or fail to do so and die. Hmm, decisions, decisions…
Required Inclusions:
- Harry is allowed to have any moral and ethical alignments that the author prefers to give him for the purposes of this story, but it would be preferred if he retained his canonical morality.
- Harry must be a vampire with the ability to continue using his magical abilities, though it is up to the author to decide if this is because he was a Siphoner in life or for some other reason.
- The story must begin either during one of the holidays Harry spends away from Hogwarts, or else during the aftermath of the Battle of Hogwarts.
- Harry must have a back-and-forth slide along the path of a Vegan Vampire and an outright Predator of the Night before finally settling on one or the other.
- Harry must possess all of the usual weaknesses for a Magical Vampire, and he should get over his weakness to sunlight exposure by forging himself a Daywalker Amulet.
- Like other Vampires, Harry’s facial features must morph to display his “True Face” when he is either aroused or exposed to freshly spilled blood.
- Harry’s Sire must be none other than Katerina Petrova, who will initially view him as a way to gain an advantage against the Original Vampires.
- Harry’s new status as a vampire must cause a certain level of mistrust among his old friends and allies, though some of his old enemies, such as the Malfoys, could become new allies.
- Even if he has a benevolent disposition, Harry must have occasional moments of bloodlust that he has to deal with in one way or another.
- All romantic pairings are permissible, including harems, but Harry will have to demonstrate his dominance over Katerina if he expects to include her in his romantic life.
Preferred Inclusions:
- It should be Harry’s status as the Master of Death which allows him to continue using magic, and which allows him to stand as an equal to the Original Vampires.
- Harry should have a rather antagonistic relationship with Damon Salvatore, especially in the earlier seasons, since the man spent over one hundred years crushing on Katerina.
- Harry should be the one to discover a spell that allows him to unlink a Vampiric Lineage from the Original Vampire that their bloodline descends from.
- Due to his status as either a reincarnated member of the Original Family (see below) or the Master of Death, Harry could slowly undergo a transformation into a new Original Vampire.
- Because he is a vampire, Harry should discover that werewolves are far more antagonistic towards him than they were when he was still human.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could be the reincarnation of Henrik Mikaelson, which, when discovered, could cause a rift to develop within the Original Family.
- If he was actually a Siphoner, then Harry could have been siphoning magic directly from the Horcrux in his scar, which is what allowed him to use magic on a continuous basis.
- A character from Potterverse could become the first member of Harry’s vampiric legacy.

Complications
- Blood Thirst: A vampire, such as Harry, requires blood to survive, and will become Impaired if they go for 48 hours without consuming blood, then Disabled if they go for an additional 48 hours without blood, and finally entering a blood frenzy after a final 48 hours where they will be forced to consume blood from the nearest human until they have drained them dry. Animal blood can sustain a vampire, but using such blood will leave them Impaired until such time as they consume human blood. The exception is if the animal blood comes from a powerful magical creature, such as a dragon.
- Impulsive: Waiting around makes Harry antsy. He'd rather do something stupid than nothing at all.
- Marked: Harry bears several scars which remind him of the life he has led over the past several years, and which would serve to identify him to anyone who has knowledge of his identity as the Man Who Conquered and Boy Who Lived.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry can't bring himself to ignore a cry for help, and is dedicated to helping people in need.
- Mythic Weakness: Vampires, such as Harry, must be invited by a permanent resident of any given private dwelling before they can enter that structure. Consumption of Vervain will cause a vampire to begin desiccating, which has the effect of causing them to become Vulnerable & Hinded, Defenseless & Immobile and finally Incapacitated over the course of several minutes. Lastly, direct exposure to sunlight will cause Harry to sustain DC 20 Damage for each round of exposure unless he is wearing a Daywalker Amulet (which is more of a plot device than a piece of equipment).
- Overconfident: Harry is the sort of person who will spit and laugh in the face of danger.
Power Loss: Harry's Toughness is not Impervious against fire-based attacks or magical weapons. Furthermore, he suffers an automatic degree of effect from fire-based attacks.
- Weakness: Driving a stake through a non-Original Vampire's heart will cause them to immediately desiccate and die, while being stabbed with wood in any other part of their body will cause them to become Dazed until the wood is removed. Werewolf venom is also lethal to a vampire and bypasses their Immortality power.
