He hates on Cat for replacing his girlfriend, Panther, on the team.

-Gun Runner was the last "Gene Pool" creation. An alien, he was an athlete turned into a super-soldier, but was put into suspended animation for centuries, popping up on contemporary Earth. A little-seen character, he last appeared during Annihilation (written by his creators), being subjected to the Annihilation Wave. It's unknown whether or not he survived.

GENETIX:

Next up is a whole GANG of losers- the members of "Genetix", a team created by Marvel UK in the mid-90s. They're from six-issue run that introduced a bunch of stupidly-designed, silly-named, one-note characters that were never seen again. They were mind-wiped creations of Dr. Oonaugh Mullarkey, and sent after Killpower. They eventually learned the truth, and broke free, acting on their own.

-Ridge is your everyday Wolverine rip-off, right down the Claws & anti-social nature, but at least he looks unique. Course, the big bug-eyes and blue skin don't make him look anything other than STUPID, but you can't win 'em all. He's a weak PL 7, balancing around +7/+7 defense/toughness and +8/+6 accuracy/damage, making him an odd Scrapper, and not too powerful. He's sort of like Wolverine if you took all the great stuff off and replaced it with loser claws, Leaping & Skin Density.

-Shift is Ridge's best friend, and a weapon-summoning Teleporter guy who can traverse dimensions. Typical flippant '90s character, too. Not a lot of Jamaican super-heroes out there.
