There will be no future option for the Cermacrete. You'll no longer have the possibility to locate the people and equipment needed for it's production. Once you decide on the drug lab, it is set. Likewise, I am not allowing the option to do both. You don't have the time, resources, or logistics. One and only one.
Since you've decided on the drug lab, spend the Dominion now.

First a rebellion base, then a ward spy network, and now a drug lord. This is turning into an even more interesting game.
Re: [OOC] MnM 3e - In the Shadow of Imperator (Recruiting 1)
That growth in personal power and influence was always planned for the PCs. Or at least I wanted to give opportunity for it. You could hunker down in your base and just be a team, or you could become your own faction to contend with in time.
That said, I overestimated the pacing of PbP. My initial estimate was that you'd have control of the city within a year of gameplay, and already be working on expanding your influence outside of Hadron City. It has also made the development of super science slow. Only two, or less, months have passed IC. Major breakthroughs can't be justified in that time, yet it has been years OOC.

Re: [OOC] MnM 3e - In the Shadow of Imperator (Recruiting 1)
At the rate we are going team dynamic wise, the whole being a team in the base wouldn't have worked out terribly well. Most PbP games don't last nearly this long on these boards and its predecessors at least. I can't speak for other forums. Getting new players to jump in to long running games that aren't hero based tend to be problematic as well. If this was a table top or chat based game, I'm sure it would have progressed much faster with the downside of having less introspection of the various PC's.

Good points.
I like the introspection. If it were tabletop or chat based (not interested in either medium) I'd pause things and ask you to give me some internal monologues here and there. Or asking what your character is thinking, every so often.

Tabletop and chat based used to be my preference, but it got too mechanical for me. The collaborative story telling that pbp enables is what draws me in now. Diego being able to morph, take out whole squads with one swipe, etc is fun but on its own gets old. The building out a spy network, drug enterprise, and such is the fun bit for me now.

A kidnap and extort job, I feel like there is another catch like a zombie outbreak or super powered security guards coming.
Re: [OOC] MnM 3e - In the Shadow of Imperator (Recruiting 1)
Why would you think there is a catch?

Well ... if you insist.
Yes, Zachary is a jerk. This is the guy who knocked Diego out when he evacuated the PCs from Wichita.

Sakuro,
I was gonna make an Intellect check for John until I realized who they were being sent to kidnap. Sorry for not realizing sooner, but my aging brain has too much to remember these days. It's John's "infatuation" from the Jaguar Casino, isn't it? The smokin' redhead is is also a professional dancer. I can get a post up for John today. I'll have to give it some thought as to how John will react. In perverse sort of way, he's happy to nab her as he desperately wants to see her again. Of course, she'll probably hate his guts from this point onward, but that's a problem to be dealt with later.

Reminder to self, never mention chance for zombie apocalypse to GM.
