Touched by an Angel Brainstorm & Notes

Touched by an Angel
Premise: What if James Potter had actually been the Seraph known as Jehudiel instead of being a simple human wizard? Well, it would mean that his son, Harry Potter, is actually a member of the Bene Elohim, or as they are more commonly known, the Miracle Children. How will this change the stories of not just Rias Gremory, but the denizens of Wizarding Britain?
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must prefer to avoid using lethal measures on his enemies, while also being aware that such things will sometimes be the only way in which he can deal with his foes.
- Harry must discover his supernatural nature at some point between his third and sixth years of attendance at Hogwarts, although the specific timing is up to the author.
- Harry’s powers as a Bene Elohim must be sufficiently different from wizarding magic that he can make use of them without triggering the Trace.
- James Potter must have been the legitimate Heir to the House of Potter in spite of the fact that he was an angel; how this is actually possible will be up to the author’s discretion.
- James must willingly sacrifice his Quasi-Divine Spark in order to ensure the survival of his family, with Lily accidentally doing the same thing out of ignorance of her husband’s sacrifice.
- Because of their sacrifices, Harry’s Angelic Core will be supercharged to the point where he will one day be capable of standing on an equal footing with the Four Great Seraphs.
- Harry must make contact with the Church after discovering his true nature and in doing so, come to the attention of Griselda Quarta, who will become akin to a mother for Harry.
- The Potter family vault must contain the armor and weaponry that James wore during his time as a Soldier for the Heavenly Host, with Harry hiring Gringotts to adjust them for his own use.
- Harry’s primary romantic interest must be Xenovia Quarta, however other girls are permissible and actively encouraged since this story is a crossover with High School DxD.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story should include elements from the franchise known as Fate/Grand Order, although the extent of this secondary crossover is entirely negotiable.
- Harry should eventually achieve Apotheosis, with the Heavenly Host deeming it necessary to have him take up their father’s throne after Michael is sealed within the Isolation Barrier.
- Harry should interfere in the attempted excommunication of Asia Argento, leading to her salvation and inclusion in his growing harem.
- Both Asia and Xenovia should become members of Harry’s Brave Saint Deck once he acquires a deck of his own, rather than becoming members of Rias Gremory’s Peerage.
Optional Inclusions:
- Certain members of the British Ministry for Magic could attempt to sanction Harry’s ability to manipulate Holy Light, in an effort to gain a measure of control over our young hero.
- Harry could place another throne next to the one he is being asked to claim and demand that Lady Gabriel sit in it as the new Queen of Heaven and his Wife De Jure.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being romantically interested in male characters.

Complications
- Lareina Jenkins: Xenovia is someone who takes Harry's tendency to rush into places where other angels fear to tread to the Nth Degree. She doesn't know the meaning of the word "fear", and "retreat" was also removed from her internal lexicon. For her, the only combat related words that matter are "Attack! Attack! Attack!"
- Motivation: Justice: Xenovia sees absolutely nothing wrong with killing Devils, Vampires and even exiled members of the Church, because she has been raised to believe that such indviduals are inherently evil. Unfortunately, this means her beliefs will come into conflict with the parameters of her current mission.
- Responsibility: Xenovia is one of two exorcists who got sent to Kuoh Town by the church for the express purpose of brokering a non-aggression pact with the Devils who occupy that town so that they will have help when attempting to retrieve several stolen fragments of the most famous Holy Sword in the entire world.
- Significant Other: Xenovia has recently begun the process that is needed in order to officially transfer her religious affiliation over to the Anglican Church so that she can pursue the romantic feelings she has been harboring ever since the day she first met Harry Potter.
- Trait of Consequence: Xenovia's understanding of the Japanese language is not currently at the level which would meet their definition of the word "Literate", since she only knows how to form the letters in the Japanese alphabet, rather than also knowing the 100 most common Kanji (out of thousands).

The Sable Prince v2 Brainstorm & Notes

The Sable Prince
Premise: Once upon a time there was a boy who survived against all odds. One who ultimately became a vampire in hopes that it would allow him to defeat an otherwise insurmountable enemy… And now, at long last, this vampire has awoken after spending untold centuries sleeping off the effects of Lord Michael’s light spear.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must have been reborn within the High School DxD universe after dying in his original universe, and must also become an exorcist in this new universe.
- Harry must retain the ability to perform the magic he possessed while living as a wizard in his original reality, even if he rarely ever uses it after becoming an exorcist.
- The Church Elders must give Harry an assignment they don’t expect him to survive, which results in his decision to become a vampire so he can ensure the mission’s completion.
- Harry must be excommunicated from the church, and will possibly even be attacked, once his superiors realize what he has allowed himself to become.
- Harry must survive his excommunication by using whatever abilities he has now gained and his original universe’s magic, and ultimately become a Prince of the Vampire species.
- All romantic pairings are permissible, however as he will be a Prince, Harry must have at least one romantic partner who will act as his Seneschal (i.e. his Queen).
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should be the direct ancestor of almost all modern day vampires within the world of High School DxD, although that doesn’t mean they will necessarily obey his decrees.
- Harry should be incredibly intolerant towards Issei’s perverted actions if they are ever directed towards someone whom Harry considers a romantic partner, or a daughter (i.e. Elmenhilde).
- Harry’s primary romantic partner should be none other than Isabel Carmilla, Queen of the Carmilla Faction, although how they reconcile her beliefs with his existence is up to the author.
Optional Inclusions:
- Additional romantic pairings could include Lady Gabriel, Yasaka, Rossweisse, Serafall Leviathan and possibly even a daughter Harry had with Isabel in the distant past.
- Harry could have been sealed for several centuries due to an argument with Lord Michael.

Complications
- Bloodthirst: If Henrik goes too long without blood, or is exposed to it, he must make a DC 15 Will resistance check to avoid being overcome by his thirst. Failure results in Henrik losing control of himself and going on a feeding frenzy until his appetite has been sated.
- Honor: Despite everything else that might be true about him, Henrik is a fair and just ruler to his people, and lives by a code of honor typical to the age of chivalry.
- Invitation Required: Henrik cannot cross into a living person’s home without an invitation (forced or willing) from one of the inhabitants of that domicile. Businesses, temporary housing (e.g., hotels), and unoccupied homes do not offer this protection.
- Motivation: Protector: Henrik lives for the sole purpose of protecting those who look up to him for leadership, regardless of what species they happen to be.
- Significant Others: Henrik has formed a romantic bond with his fellow Vampiric Progenitor, Isabel Carmilla, as well as with the eldest of their respective Fledglings, Jasmine Vordenburg and Rachel Karnstein; the latter two of whom did not survive Heaven's attack on Henrik's kingdom.
- Troubled Past: Once upon a time, Henrik was one of the most devoted exorcists in service to the Heavens. Then one day, he confessed his love to the Seraph known as Gabriel and had his heart broken by her. That action indirectly led to his becoming a vampire, a species that is considered second only to Devils on the church's "must exorcise immediately" list.
- Vampiric Aversions: Garlic and holy symbols can hold Henrik at bay. Treat their presence as a Cumulative Affliction 15 (Resisted by Will; Entranced, Compelled, Controlled) to stay out of the area or at least 5 feet away from whomever is presenting the object in question, whichever is most appropriate. Henrik must overcome the same affliction in order to cross through a visible body of running water (e.g. a River). Furthermore, he suffers a Rank 1 Damage effect whenever he comes into physical contact with a holy symbol, blessed item or holy water; this is in addition to their usual effects.

- Bloodthirst: If Isabel goes too long without blood, or is exposed to it, she must make a DC 15 Will resistance check to avoid being overcome by her thirst. Failure results in Isabel losing control of herself and going on a feeding frenzy until her appetite has been sated.
- Honor: Isabel follows a very strict code of elegance and manners, as befits a noble woman from the middle ages.
- Invitation Required: Isabel cannot cross into a living person’s home without an invitation (forced or willing) from one of the inhabitants of that domicile. Businesses, temporary housing (e.g., hotels), and unoccupied homes do not offer this protection.
- Monophobia: Isabel is absolutely terrified of being alone, and her forced isolation from Hendrik, Jasmine and Rachel has been one of the most difficult things she has ever had to deal with, leading to a situation where her daughter Stasya is effectively leading the Carmilla Faction in her place.

Potter's Arcane Mind Brainstorm & Notes

Potter’s Arcane Mind
Premise: Harry was feeling rather restless after Voldemort’s final demise. His nemesis was dead and he was alive. Now what? Then one day the seal on his true nature and powers evaporated into thin air. Deciding to delve into magic itself, Harry traveled to a tranquil Japanese town and set up shop. Now he has to deal with Devils, Angels, Fallen and Yokai, oh my!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry’s demonic powers and partial devilish nature must have been sealed away until his18th birthday, with the seal itself being put into place by the author’s preferred Celtic deity.
- Harry must travel to Kuoh Town and set up a discreet magic shop, known as Arcane Minds, after finding his career options in Great Britain to be highly unappealing.
- Harry must be unaware of the fact that Kuoh Town is being supervised by Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri, and yet manage to remain undetected by both until after the Riser Phenex debacle.
- Harry must simultaneously embrace the eccentricity that is common to powerful magic users and his Marauder heritage by dressing flamboyantly and entertaining the local populace.
- Harry’s primary romantic pairing must be Serafall Leviathan, however other ladies are permitted if they can gain the Maou’s approval.
- Rias and/or Sona must eventually confront Harry about his presence within their Territory; although, it is highly unlikely they’ll actually accomplish anything worthwhile.
- Harry’s ancestry as a Cambion must come from the House of Phenex, which will allow him to make use of their standard suite of powers, minus the generation of Phoenix Tears.
- The House of Phenex must eventually discover Harry’s existence, but their reaction to this knowledge has been left open to the author’s interpretation.
- Harry must be rather reluctant to step back into the role of a hero, and be unwilling to aid Rias or Sona in their defense of Kuoh unless they come up against an enemy they can’t handle.
- Rias and Sona must attempt to order Harry into action at least once during the story, with their demand having unforeseen consequences (and humorous) for the heiress who issues it.
- In spite of his misgivings about heroics, Harry must engage the Khaos Brigade’s Stray Magicians, since they actually are his responsibility as fellow spellcasters.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Much to Sona’s embarrassment and the eccentric Magician’s approval, her older sister should prance in his shop while wearing only a pair of panties and one of Harry’s t-shirts.
- Daphne Greengrass should eventually track Harry down once his new reputation is known in Magical Britain in hopes that he either has a cure or a possible treatment for her younger sister.
- Harry should be a full-fledged Animagus with the ability to transform into a hybridized Man-Beast form, like those which are possessed by Lycanthropes.
- Harry should enforce a rule of absolute neutrality in his shop, where he will not tolerate fights from rival Faction members while they are on his property.
- Luna Scamander (née Lovegood) should be a recurring visitor at Harry’s shop, since her eccentricities will fit right in alongside of his own.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry and Azazel could be old drinking pals who are both oblivious to the other's true identity.
- Motohama’s perverted glasses could be one of several rejected experiments performed by Harry on the subject of placing enchantments onto different types of viewing lenses
- The wards on Harry’s shop could have a humorous consequence for anyone who tries to bypass them with teleportation, transporting them to random locations on Earth.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being malevolent in how he entertains Kuoh’s populace.
- Harry being dependent on his wand when performing magic.
- Harry being romantically interested in male characters.

Canticle of the Sea
Premise: Morgan Le Fay was living in a gilded cage, having long since been confined to Tír na nÓg. This was her punishment for all the wrongs she committed during her brother’s reign. Surprisingly, something happened centuries after her imprisonment that broke the monotony of her immortal existence. For the first time in centuries, Sguaba Tuinne docked at the harbour!

- Harry Potter must be the current incarnation of the Celtic deity known to the world as Manannan Mac Lir, having been “reborn” centuries after his apparent demise.
- Harry must awaken his memories as the Man of the Sea at some point after he successfully unites the Deathly Hallows, which will be the sealed forms of Mac Lir’s fabled relics.
- Harry must embark on a journey of self-discovery after awakening his divine powers that will begin with a visit to the Kingdom of Tír na nÓg, where he will discover Morgan’s existence.
- Obviously, Morgan Le Fay must still be alive, and she will most likely be quite upset to discover that her jailor “has been ignoring her for centuries!” Even if that isn’t actually the case.
- Harry must eventually calm Morgan down, and decide to give her a second chance at a life outside of Tír na nÓg, even if there will be conditions to this freedom.
- Two of these conditions will be that Morgan must remain within the same city as Harry, and live in the same dwelling place as him for the entire duration of her time outside of Tír na nÓg.
- Morgan must be willing to turn a new leaf, having come to realize that she truly regrets all of the pain and misery she caused during her brother’s reign as the King of All England.
- Harry’s primary romantic pairing must be Morgan Le Fay, but other women are allowed if they manage to secure Morgan’s blessing.
- Some of the older supernatural forces must harbor a grudge against the Tuatha de Danann and Manannan Mac Lir specifically, meaning that they now have a bone to pick with Harry.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Morgan could be pleasantly surprised when Harry doesn’t follow in his predecessor’s footsteps by barging into her bedchambers and forcing her to submit to his desires.
- Harry and Morgan could playfully banter with one another over the former’s self-effacing nobility and the latter’s snobbish tendencies.
- Harry’s journey of self-discovery could lead him, and Morgan by proxy, to various supernatural entities who each agree to help whip him into proper fighting trim.
- Harry should actually be aware of the existence of Devils, since the 72 Pillars make regular use of Hogwarts and other schools of its ilk as a place to recruit Pact Magicians.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry and Morgan could become involved in the events surrounding Kuoh Academy’s Occult Research Club right around the time when Rias is about to deal with Riser Phenex.
- Harry and/or Morgan will likely try to confiscate any Excalibur Fragments they come across on behalf of the Lady of the Lake, which could end up causing all sorts of diplomatic problems.

- Harry tolerating the factionalism that divides the supernatural world.
