Gelert

Gelert's blast catches the Shadow Clam member by surprise and sends him tumbling several feet before he rights himself. He wobbles a bit, but is still standing... just.
Shadow Clan #4 TOU save: 1d20+8-1 13
Bx2, Staggered
How many times is that now? Missed the next level failure by 1.

Nightbird
HP: 1 LP: 1
Condition: Bruise x 1

Imogen still couldn't see any sight of their foes, they must be very talented or it might be time for her to get her eyes checked.

Relaxed Imogen stands like a lone tree in a clearing ready to strike in any direction if the opportunity presents.

Moonlight
HP: 2 LP: 0
Condition: -1 Toughness [heals in one round]

With her heightened senses and training it is easy to spot all of the shadow warriors in the area. Taking aim at the most injured-looking of the bunch, she willed a lightning bolt from the sky toward them.

OOC: Perception check: Perception check: 1d20+14 26 Attack check for Nature Strikes [lightning descriptor]: Attack roll: 1d20+12 20 DC 27 if that hits.

Shadow Clan

Moonlight's lightning strikes the Earth as the Shadow Clan member rolls out of the way. Two of them move to attack Moonlight and Nightbird, while the one Gelert struck moves back into hiding.

Both Nightbird's and Amethyst's readied attacks are avoided as the Shadow Clan moves around. The one moving past Nightbird manages to land a lucky blow against the hero.
Moonlight's attack misses, as do both readied attack.

Amethyst
Condition: Fatigued, AOA2 / HP: 1

Amethyst snaps off a shot from her blaster pistol as the ninjas pop up close to Nightbird, but all it does it crater the concrete runway. However, her HUD tags the one that Gelert blasted and identifies it as significantly wounded.

She drops the pistols to warp in her gatling turbolaser. There's a horrible whining noise as the barrels spin up, and she lets off a burst at 3000 rpm.

OOC

AA Amethyst Perception: 1D20+10 = [19]+10 = 29 Excellent

AA Amethyst attack (AOA 2) vs Shadow Clan 4: 1D20+12+2 = [7]+12+2 = 21
Amazing. That's actually a miss, since in 3e stunned enemies are not also flat-footed

Amethyst

Though injured, the Shadow Clan member is able to avoid Michelle's blaster fire by rolling sideways out of the way.

Gelert looses track of the Shadowclan again, "Oh these guys are real sneaky."
Since he couldn't blast the elusive enemy, Gelert fired off more healing energy to patch up Nightbird, who seemed to be having the roughest time.

Healing 10 (Increased Range: ranged) directed at Nightbird: (DC10) 1d20+10: 16 so two degrees of success. remove 2 damage conditions starting from the most severe.

The wave of energy from Gelert revitalised Imogen like a blast of fresh air into a boarded up house, she could feel her chi flowing normally again after been severed by the inky sword that the Ninja used on her.

"Thanks Gelert, perfect timing I owe you."

Unfortunately she still couldn't spot any of her foes, changing her stance ever so slightly Imogen readied herself for the next attack.

Moonlight
HP: 2 LP: 0
Condition: Fine

For once Aranel's sharp senses couldn't detect even one of the shadow warriors, this fight was taking far too long and they had urgent business to attend to. She prepared to strike with a rock column surging from the ground the next time they acted.

OOC: Perception check: 1d20+14 22 Readied action, Nature Strikes [earth-descriptor] to strike at the first shadow warrior to act: Attack roll: 1d20+12 28 DC 27 if that hits.

Shadow Clan

Several tense moments pass as the three women wait for the Shadow Clam members to attack. The one Gelert hit goes back into hiding.
There is no visible action by the Shadow Clan this round.

Amethyst
Condition: Fatigued / HP: 1

"Definitely really sneaky." Amethyst was getting seriously annoyed by these goons. In her HUD, targeting reticles appear one after another, only to flash green and dissolve as they turn out to be bits of concrete, terrain, and a strategically placed potted plant. Still no ninjas in sight.

Well, if she couldn't see them, maybe she could get them to show themselves. "What's the matter?" she calls to the Shadow Clan in her most annoying sarcastic voice. "Y'all went really quiet all of a sudden. Are you scared now? Worried you've bitten off more than you can chew? Come get some if you can, losers." She half-turns and pats her butt.

OOC

At the start of her turn Amethyst's AOA expires and she is back to normal defense.

AA Amethyst perception: 1D20+10 = [1]+10 = 11 Perfect, it's good to get those 1's out of the way early.

Amethyst is going to try and trick, as in the Tricking function of the deception skill, the shadow clan to attack her. If they attack her, they will trigger readied actions from the other heroes.

AA Amethyst deception: 1D20+10 = [13]+10 = 23 28 if her attractive 2 works on them.
