The Gate to Avalon
Premise: The Great Wizard Merlin wasn’t getting any younger. In fact, old age was finally starting to catch up to him. Magic could only do so much to slow Time after all. But before retiring to Avalon to live his remaining years in peaceful seclusion, he needed a final apprentice, one who could take the mantle of the Court Wizard. Enter a time displaced child with enormous magical potential.
Required Inclusions:
- The meaning of the name ‘Merlin’ was mistranslated over the ages. It is actually the title given to the Court Wizard of Albion, and not a given name.
- The current Merlin must be getting on in age, with Time finally overpowering his magic, thus his pressing need to find a worthy successor.
- Myrddin got his wish when an injured lad fell at his feet from a space-time breech, clutching a dead body and some kind of gaudy looking cup.
- While Harry managed to escape the graveyard of Little Hangleton with his life and with Cedric’s body, a stray spell hit the Triwizard cup just as the portkey activated.
- The enchantment used to create Portkeys is quite finicky and easy to get wrong, hence why it’s the height of foolishness to mess and tamper with it.
- Teleportation magic was in its infancy during the time of King Arthur, thus there is no known way for Harry to return to his time, if said timeline still exists at all.
- While Cedric will be buried with honors, Harry will be taken to the nearby Tintagel Castle for treatment, which will be occupied by Morgan Le Fay and her immediate family.
- The arrival of the Great Wizard and this unknown boy who seems to be around her age will arouse Morgan’s curiosity, to the point that she’ll volunteer her help to nurse him back to health.
- Harry and Morgan will bond and become quick friends during his convalescence, since he could care less about her status as a noble.
- After Harry comes to the realization that his previous life is effectively over, he’ll take Merlin’s offer to become his eventual successor.
- The main romantic pairing in this scenario must eventually be between Harry and Morgan. Other women are allowed so long as they obtain Morgan’s blessings.
- Harry must be on hand to help build the Kingdom of Camelot when Arthur is chosen as the High King of the island known as Albion.
- Years later, Harry will realize that his aging has slowed to even more of a crawl than what is normally expected for witches and wizards, no matter their innate level of power.
- It’s the mix of Basilisk venom and Phoenix tears in his bloodstream that is responsible for such a feat, and is what will allow him to still look about thirty by the 1990’s.
- Harry and Arthur will butt heads occasionally, since as the Court Wizard, it’s the former’s duty to tell the latter when he’s being an idiot or is making a mistake.
- Morgan and Harry will not get along with Selene Gallio, since the Black Queen has been a thorn in the lovers’ side for centuries. Despite this, it is Selene who was known as Sebile.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Merlin should have a spell to break the language barrier but should also abstain from offering it to Harry right away, since it’s funnier to see him struggle, that is, until the old man gets bored.
- Somehow, Death’s Invisibility Cloak should have followed Harry into the past, its magical properties should also fascinate Morgan, giving Harry some teasing material.
- The current Lady of the Lake should select Morgan as her successor as the ruler of the Celtic Otherworld, though whether Morgan accepts this position or not is up to the author.
- Harry and Morgan should deal with Voldemort either during his first rise or before he can start anew after his resurrection.
- The Braddock family’s reign on Avalon should only be possible because Morgan lost any interest in being Queen over the centuries and Harry doesn’t want to rule either.
- The man known as Godric Gryffindor should try to skewer Harry with a sword after our intrepid hero claims his daughter’s virginity, not knowing, or caring, that she was the one to jump Harry.
Optional Inclusions:
- Morgan could be quite cross with Harry for picking a fight with the current Host of the Phoenix Force on a dare from Lancelot.
- Harry and Morgan could decide to elope after she’s promised to an arborent suitor once she becomes sixteen years old, putting her family in front of a done deal.
- Instead of being Morgan’s son, Mordred could be one of Arthur’s various bastard children with low-born women, or simply the child of Arthur and Morgan’s sister, Morgause.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being able to return to his era in any way other than the slow crawl of time.
- Harry having an easy time understanding and learning proper courtly behavior.
- Harry and his ladies following the Church’s Doctrine.
- Harry and his ladies, the pathetic emo-doormats.
- Harry being involved in a male-slash pairing.

Complications
- Cultural Awkwardness: Myrddin is from the distant future, where he was raised in an abusive household with very little in the way of courtly manners. As such, he has a tendency to forget how to conduct himself when interacting with the nobles and aristocrats of King Arthur's court, even though both Morgan and Gwendolen do what they can to aid him in making up for his lack of decorum.
- Impulsive: Myrddin is the sort of person who will run into places where angels fear to tread simply to save just one single life from mortal peril.
- Motivation: The Greater Good: Myrddin believes that it is each person's responsibility to make the most happiness for the whole community, and is therefore most annoyed with the antics of the Ladies Morgause and Sebile, who are constantly trying to bring ruin to the Kingdom of Camelot.
- Obnoxious: Myrddin has a tendency to watch over his friends as if they were a newborn litter of pups, which has a tendency to annoy his wives, the Ladies Morgan Le Fay and Gwendolen Wyllt.
- Temper: Myrddin will bring down terrible wrath upon any evildoers who threaten the safety of the Kingdom of Camelot, and later on the British Commonwealth.

Fortunae Meae, Multorum Faber
Premise: What would happen if Harry Potter had been replaced by a young man known as Hyperion Black? Just who is this mysterious gentleman, and what is his relationship to the infamous Black sisters «Marauder Era, Quasi-OC’s & Fem!Voldemort»
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be replaced by a young man known to the wizarding world as Hyperion Black, the twin brother to Miss Andromeda Black.
- Hyperion’s decision to join one of the three wizarding political factions must be a major plot element that takes up a considerable portion of the first few arcs of this story.
- Hyperion must regard both Sirius and Regulus as the brothers he never had, and be disappointed in whichever one of them sides against him in the First Blood War.
- Hyperion must be involved in a romantic relationship with one of his yearmates at Hogwarts, with a distinct preference being given to the mother of Blaise Zabini.
- There must be someone who takes Harry Potter’s place as the Boy Who Lived on the 31st of October in the year of 1981, though this individual does not need to be a boy.
- Hyperion must be a Seer, with the ability to tap into the future as it was portrayed in the canonical novels, meaning that he can see what led to the Dark Lord (or Lady)’s demise.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Hyperion should be a member of the Dark Lord (or Dark Lady)’s Inner Circle, and bonus points will be given if he becomes the Dark Lord (or Dark Lady)’s second in command.
- Hyperion should share the views of his paternal family in regards to Muggles, though whether this extends to Muggle-Borns or not is up to the author.
- Hyperion should assume command of the Death Eaters in the event that his Lord (or Lady) is discorporated, assuming of course that he has sided with the Death Eaters.

White Magician, the Dragon Knight
Premise: Emma Frost was someone who could always claim to be the most expensive date in the world. But then, her new boyfriend bodyguard was the sort of man who definitely liked to hoard his treasure. Introducing Harry Potter, the Mutant Dragon Shifter!
Required Inclusions:
- This story must involve a Wrong-Child-Who-Lived scenario, with Harry’s sibling being one of the more benevolent examples of the trope in question.
- Harry must be a magical mutant that was seemingly turned into a Squib following Voldemort’s attack on the Potter cottage on October 31st of 1981.
- Harry must run away from home at some point after Voldemort’s attack on the Potter cottage, whether this is from the Dursleys or Potters is up to the author.
- While living on the streets, Harry must meet and befriend a young Emma Frost, how she came to be in the United Kingdom, if that is where they meet, will be up to the author.
- Emma must help Harry, either by periodically bringing him supplies, or else by bringing him back home with her, causing Harry to be extremely loyal towards her.
- Harry must join the Hellfire Club alongside Emma, becoming the White Knight to her White Queen, as well as her personal bodyguard or assistant.
- Emma must be Harry’s primary romantic relationship, other pairings are permissible provided that they can earn Emma’s approval.
- Emma must accompany Harry to England when it is discovered that he is the true Chosen One, and that he must be the one who ultimately vanquishes “Lord Voldemort.”
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should save Emma’s life when they first meet one another, causing her to be just as loyal to him as he is towards her.
- Harry should possess the mutant ability to transform into a draconic creature, much like how Wolfsbane can transform into a pseudo-werewolf.
- Emma should attempt to use her connections within the Hellfire Club in order to take it over for benevolent reasons, rather than being the villainess she was in the early comic book series.
- Assuming Harry doesn’t claim Jean Grey’s heart as his own, then he and Emma could have fun putting her and Scott Summers in horribly awkward romantic situations.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry and Emma could be instructors at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, though what they actually teach would be up to the individual author.
- Harry and Emma could be extremely possessive of one another, in the former’s case because he is a dragon, and in the latter’s case because that’s just how she is.

Nil Igitur Mors Est Ad Nos
Premise: A large tube of otherworldly energy opened up on Privet Drive shortly after Albus Dumbledore left Harry Potter on the doorstep of the Dursley residence and made good his departure. Out of this tube came a massive woman that looked more like a man, who plucked the young Potter heir off the Dursley doorstep and took him back to the world she came from…
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must be willing to use lethal force against his adversaries, while still allowing the innocent and weak to escape with their lives.
- The being who takes Harry away from Privet Drive is none other than Granny Goodness, and she absconded with him on behalf of her Lord and Master, Darkseid.
- Harry’s upbringing as one of Darkseid’s “beloved” children must be included in the story. How his presence on Apokolips changes things for the New Gods is up to the author.
- Darkseid must perform an adoption ritual that transforms Harry into his true son, and provides the boy with divine protection should Dumbledore try to use Fawkes to retrieve him.
- Harry must be paired with a female character, though the exact number of girls that are involved with Harry will be left up to the author.
- Harry must make use of the abilities that he acquires on Apokolips when he inevitably returns to Earth in order to deal with the dark wizard known as Voldemort.
- Harry’s strength and divine abilities must unnerve, annoy and even frighten certain members of wizarding society, as well as the capes and cowls who inhabit the world.
- At least one student who is in attendance at Hogwarts must be a New God, though the specific identity of this character will be left up to the author.
- Harry must offer to train at least one character in how to fight like the people of Apokolips. Who this character is, and how they are connected to Harry is up to the author.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should be assigned a squad of Female Furies that is composed of at least one of the following: Kara Zor-El, Mary Bromfield, and/or Koriand’r Tykayl.
- Harry should be provided with the full suite of royal training, because even though he isn’t expected to claim the throne of Apokolips, he is still expected to govern one of their colonies.
- Harry should have a weapon that can be disguised in some manner, though the exact nature of this weapon will be left up to the author.
- Harry should somehow succeed in getting Sirius cleared of all the charges that he stands accused of, though the manner in which he does this is up to the author.
Optional Inclusions:
- Darkseid could have inhabited James Potter’s body during the night on which Harry was conceived, more or less making Harry a legitimate heir to the throne of Apokolips.
- There could be a long forgotten prophecy that speaks of the Prince of Armageddon, and how he will reshape the destiny of the world in his own image.

- Honor: Exos will always spare the weak or the innocent, and do what he can to prevent them from coming to harm during his battles. After all, what is the point to being a ruler without subjects to govern?
- Motivation: Dreamer: Exos is determined to become the ruler of the planet known as Earth, no matter what boulders may lie in his path. He also firmly believes that the history books will remember him fondly, no matter what crimes he may need to commit while striving towards his life-long ambition.
- Overconfident: Exos believes he can turn anyone to his side, no matter their previous beliefs, even without needing to rely upon his father's precious Anti-Life Equation.
- Power Loss: The Omega Effect depends on Exos' ability to endure terrible pain. This means that the maximum Rank of Effects with that Descriptor is equal to his Fortitude rank, and that any effect which "Weakens" his Fortitude score will cause an equal loss to the Effect Rank to those powers.

High Voltage v5 Brainstorm & Notes

High Voltage
Premise: Harry always knew he was different, ever since his cousin Dudley almost shattered his hand trying to punch him when they were nine. He thought that he had found his answers when he turned eleven. Then he started being able to manipulate both lightning and the weather; and now, a whole new host of problems have arisen when encountering Veela!
Required Inclusions:
- In this scenario, Harry Potter is actually the long lost son of Diana Prince and Clark Kent, who was originally known as Hunter Kent.
- The reason for his disappearance is that Albus Dumbledore ordered Fawkes to abduct the boy mere days after his birth, since he was a candidate for Sybil Trelawney’s first prophecy.
- The only reason this stunt was successful was because Clark was in another galaxy at the time, and Diana was still weakened from giving birth to a Kryptonian’s child.
- The various wand-waver communities around the world are, unfortunately, so well hidden that not even the wandless mystics of the world can find them unless an invitation is extended.
- Making this worse, is that the superhero community in Great Britain and the rest of Europe is still in its infancy, making it even more difficult to locate Hunter/Harry.
- Years later, during the events of the Triwizard Tournament, young Harry Potter encounters the most beautiful creature he has ever laid eyes on, and inadvertently awakens his Heat Vision.
- Of course, this event will act as a homing beacon, both for the Veela Nation, and for the Justice League, who will both arrive at Hogwarts in relatively short order.
- As a direct result of this, Harry will find himself betrothed to a Veela Princess (either Fleur or Gabrielle), and also discover that he is to become a member of the Teen Titans.
- Harry’s reunion with his birth parents must occur naturally, since they won’t always see eye to eye about a great many things; plus, Clark & Diana could have separated after his abduction.
- While the Veela in question must be Harry’s primary romantic partner, he is allowed to have other romantic partners provided that the Veela approves of those relationships.
- If Harry wears a superhero costume, then it must be a form of armor, rather than one of the spandex jumpsuits that are so common in the earlier incarnations of the DC Universe.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Voldemort’s threat level should increase quite significantly if the Dark Lord is capable of using Harry’s blood during his resurrection ritual, since he’ll become Harry’s version of Match.
- Harry should express confusion when he witnesses his birth parents becoming furious on his behalf after learning what all it is that he has been through over the past three years.
- Instead of trying to justify his past actions against the Kent family using the “It was for the Greater Good” mantra, Dumbledore should use Spock’s famous quote from Wrath of Khan.
- Harry and Beast Boy should develop a strained relationship after it is discovered that Raven harbors romantic feelings for Harry. Especially since Harry already has at least one girlfriend.
- Harry should metaphorically rip Martian Manhunter’s head off after the man enters his mind without permission, which is a severe breach of etiquette in Wizarding Society.
Optional Inclusions:
- Like Clark, Harry could be unwilling to kill someone in all but the most extreme of situations.
- Harry could also find himself becoming romantically involved with Circe, which could confound his mother, since the two women are well known to be enemies.
- Harry could end up engaging Fenrir Greyback and/or the other members of his pack in a battle that he will most likely win due to his otherworldly heritage.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being easily cowed by the Justice League’s founders.
- Harry dating Kara Kent, Donna Troy, or Cassie Sandsmark.
- Harry willingly accepting confinement at the Kent Farm.

Complications
- Dark Insight: Harry will occasionally suffer seemingly prophetic visions of the events surrounding Voldemort and his Death Eaters, and in these visions he takes on the role of Voldemort himself. These are often accompanied by excruciating pain caused by a psychic overload. Headmaster Dumbledore believes these visions to be caused by a Horcrux that is lodged in the scar on Harry's forehead, whether this is true or not is debatable.
- Destiny: It is Harry's destiny to be the one who ultimately vanquishes the self-proclaimed "Dark Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry prefers to judge people based on their actions instead of their words. Furthermore, if someone is in trouble, he is always ready to led his assistance. He is also a hero who will protect those who are unable to protect themselves.
- Motivation: Justice: Harry does whatever he can in order to prevent tyrants from oppressing the common people.
- Nemesis: Albus Dumbledore is attempting to sculpt Harry into a sacrificial lamb that he can throw at Voldemort in hopes that the lad's death will act as catalyst which will allow the old goat to swoop in and defeat the so-called Dark Lord once and for all. Defeat, but certainly not vanquish.
- Relationships: Biologically speaking, Harry is the son of Clark Kent (aka Superman) and Diana Prince (aka Wonder Woman). However, he was stolen as an infant and given over into the care of James and Lily Potter, who died when he was but a year old. After which time, he was raised by Vernon and Petunia Dursley, who both absolutely despised his existence and treated him horribly.
- Weakness: Due to his paternal genetics, Harry is susceptible to Kryptonite radiation, like his father. Furthermore, due to his inexperience with Psychic Foes, Harry is considered to be Will Disabled against Mental attacks.

The Consultant Brainstorm & Notes

The Consultant
Premise: What would happen if the ICW felt the need to keep a close eye on the Stargate due to their knowledge of an ancient threat to the Earth from beyond the stars? How would things change if Harry Potter was chosen to serve as the magical attaché to Stargate Command? Let’s find out…
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must decide to join the International Auror Force following the defeat of Voldemort during the Battle of Hogwarts instead of becoming a member of Magical Britain’s Auror Force.
- As a result of this decision, it will be Harry who is assigned to the task of serving as the magical attaché to Stargate Command at the Cheyenne Mountain Facility.
- The reason for this assignment must be due to the ICW’s knowledge of entities like the Goa’uld, who the ancient magical humans were partly responsible for banishing from Earth.
- Harry must become involved in the adventures of the group known as Stargate One (Sierra Gulf One), with our young wizard accompanying them on a few trips through the Gate.
- Harry must become romantically involved with either Samantha Carter, Janet Fraiser, Anise and/or Freya. Anyone else he is involved with will be up to the author.
- Harry must be capable of utilizing wandless magic, but he must also continue to be a human wizard for the vast majority of the story instead of undergoing Ascension.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should become involved with the SGC during the events of the two part Stargate: SG-1 Series Premier, though how this comes to happen will be up to the author.
- Harry should have a customized set of combat fatigues to denote his status as a civilian consultant rather than a member of the military, which Daniel Jackson could also wear.

Premise: By a twist of Fate, young Harry Potter’s destiny was rewritten when he came under the care of his father’s cousin, Virginia ‘Pepper’ Potts, after his Aunt Petunia’s untimely demise. Shipped all the way to America, what kind of new adventures will await our young hero in the Land of the Free?
Required Inclusions:
- In this scenario, Virginia Potts is actually a cousin of James Potter, who made her life in the Mundane world due to being born as a squib.
- Harry had always been unlucky for his birthdays, but his thirteenth one took the cake. His aunt Petunia died in an accident and his Uncle Vernon made it clear that he wouldn’t keep the lad.
- Vernon may hate the boy for his freakishness, but he will follow the legal procedures to send the kid to a proper guardian, which in this case is Pepper Potts, his 1st Cousin, Once Removed.
- Harry must be shipped all the way to California on an all-expenses paid flight aboard a private jet owned by Stark Industries care of Pepper’s boss, Tony Stark.
- Both Albus Dumbledore and the Ministry for Magic must be caught flat-footed by their icon’s sudden departure to America, and be unable to contest Harry’s new guardianship.
- Since MaCUSA is always looking for a way to one-up their British forebears, they will gladly block any and all political attempts to repatriate Harry back to the United Kingdom.
- While Tony Stark is far from the ideal father figure, he’ll eventually get attached to his personal assistant’s cousin and make an effort to tone down his bad habits in Harry’s presence.
- Six months later, young Harry will discover the ability to control the winds and create lightning without a wand, prompting a home visit from Professor Charles Xavier.
- It turns out that Harry was far more special than he first believed, since he possesses what is known as an Active X-Gene.
- The main pairing in this scenario will eventually be between Harry Potter and Amara Aquilla. Other women are allowed should they obtain Amara’s blessing.
- The responsible adults in Harry’s life must get him the help needed to manage his self-destructive tendencies, even over any protests might lodge.
- The veracity of Trelawney’s first prophecy is unimportant. The fact is that Voldemort will not rest until Harry is dead, so the young man will have no other choice but to defend himself.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Since he now has a supportive family, Harry should refuse to attend Ilvermorny due to his rather unfortunate experiences at Hogwarts.
- Once settled into Xavier’s Institute, Harry should be tutored by Ororo Munroe due to the similarity between their powers.
- Charles should schedule an appointment with Doctor Stephen Strange for Harry about the psychic leech embedded in the boy’s scar.
- Harry and Scott Summers should be at odds with one another, mostly due to their clashing personalities and the former’s lack of regard for most authority figures.
- Harry should be quite distrustful of Natalie Rushman when she arrives at Stark Industries, having intuitively guessed that the woman is far more dangerous than she appears.
- If Harry’s name comes out of the Goblet of Fire, then there should be a way to either remove him from the tournament or allow him to compete without risking his life.
Optional Inclusions:
- After seeing the color scheme of Tony’s armor, Harry could gush about the man’s Gryffindor pride, and then beg to be allowed to have his own suit of armor.
- Much to Pepper’s chagrin, Harry and Tony could get along like a house on fire, with both of them actively encouraging each other’s thrill-seeking tendencies.
- Harry could instinctively know that Obadiah Stane is bad news, and do everything he can in order to prevent the man from discovering the secret of magic.
