Complications
- Curse Sworn: Hela is far older than she appears to be, having been born prior to the First Century Anno Domini. Fortunately, part of her deal with Mistress Death involved a renewal of her youthful beauty. Unfortunately, this renewal also came with a massive reduction in Hela's maximum combat potential.
- Honor: Hela follows a strict warrior's code of honor that will see her providing no quarter to those she regards as enemies, while also going out of her way to give people a chance to avoid becoming her enemies and also ensuring that noncombatants live to see the end of any battles she is involved in.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Hela wishes to find acceptance among the gods of Asgard, since it is only in the hallowed halls of Valaskjalf that she can at last receive the recognition that will allow her to travel to Valhalla or Folkvang on the day she inevitably passes into the hereafter.
- Relationships: Hela is the daughter of King Odin Borson and the late Queen Gullveig Freysdottir, which means that she is technically the elder half-sister of Thor Odinson and the adoptive sister of Loki Laufeyson.
- The Forgotten Princess: Hela's father has performed what might as well be heretical act among Asgardians by writing Hela's name out of the histories told to their people, which will guarantee her a spot in an incredibly unpleasant afterlife unless certain preventative measures are taken.

Hurricane Force v2 Brainstorm & Notes

Hurricane Force
Premise: The Wind feels good doesn’t it? Not when you think that it’s capable of ripping apart an entire house! People think that fire, ice and lightning are the most dangerous elements, but they forget about the element that surrounds them and keeps them alive. Now, that power is in the hands of young Harry Potter; the forces of darkness will never know what hit them!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must acquire the powers associated with the Parliament of Vapors and the White from DC Comics, marking him as an incredibly powerful Air Elemental.
- Elementals of this sort are incredibly rare, even within Wizarding Society, so it will cause quite a stir when Harry’s status as an Elemental is discovered.
- Harry must be largely self-trained in the use of his powers, as there really won’t be anyone else who lives in the same time period as Harry who can teach him how to use his powers.
- When Harry gets particularly angry, he will unconsciously generate a whirlwind that will push people away from him, but which could also tear into their skin if they try to resist the effect.
- Someone must eventually make a jab against Harry’s element, only to be well and truly schooled by Harry, since it is unwise to pick a fight with one who controls the air you breathe.
- As an Elemental, Harry’s physical appearance must change so that it now resembles an Air Genasi from Dungeons and Dragons, since that is a common side effect of his new powers.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story should be a crossover with DC Comics, as that is where the Parliament of Vapors and the White originate from. The extent of this crossover is up to the author.
- To go along with the above preference, Harry should be drawn into the conflicts surrounding the capes and creeps associated with DC Comics.
- Harry should have the ability to restrain his power to some extent, allowing him to more easily blend in among normal humans, even if said ability probably won’t be entirely perfect.
Optional Inclusions:
- Elementals could be so rare that they are actually highly desirable romantic partners within Wizarding Society, leading to a situation where Harry is now quite popular with the ladies.
- Harry could become romantically involved with Pamela Isley (aka Poison Ivy).
Forbidden Things:
- Harry voluntarily forsaking his powers.

Henrik von Doom Brainstorm & Notes

Henrik von Doom
Premise: At last, Albus Dumbledore and the Order of Kentucky Fried Chicken had managed to locate the True Chosen One, and in doing so, rekindled the hope of Wizarding Britain… or so they thought; but this young man has very little reason to help them, for you see, he is Henrik von Doom the Crown Prince of Latveria!
Required Inclusions:
- Henrik von Doom must be the twin half-brother of the so-called Boy Who Lived by way of a process known as Heteropaternal Superfecundation.
- James and Lily Potter must survive their fateful encounter with Voldemort, with Victor von Doom claiming Henrik as his son and heir shortly thereafter, due to the Potter’s negligence.
- Henrik must be Victor’s eldest child and the rightful heir to the Throne of Latveria, although the author is allowed to give Victor other children after Henrik, such as Valeria von Doom.
- Victor must genuinely care for his children, especially if they remain loyal to both their father and kingdom when faced with the likes of Albus Dumbledore or Reed Richards.
- Henrik’s primary romantic interest must be a character from the Marvel multiverse, although the author is free to choose which aspect of that multiverse the character is drawn from.
- Henrik must be at least sixteen years old when the Order of the Phoenix finally realizes that he is the true Chosen One and come before the Latverian Royals to “beg” for their help.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Henrik’s primary focus should be on the mystical and martial arts, rather than on the sciences, even while still being just as gifted as his father in terms of his intellect.
- Henrik should be an example of what TV Tropes refers to as an Anti-Hero, while his father should be more of an Anti-Villain in this scenario.
- Victor should make arrangements for Susan Storm or Ben Grimm to act as his son’s godparent in the unlikely event that one of his enemies actually succeeds in killing him.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could be an “Enhanced Human” with the ability to use telekinesis as well as magic.
- This story could take place in either the MCU or one of the X-Men Universes, with Harry being around the same age as Natasha Romanoff, Wanda Maximoff and Rogue.

- Accident: If Rogue attempts to absorb powers from someone for more than a single round, then she risks the permanent absorption of the targeted character's powers and personality quirks, which also means that she could potentially incapacitate that individual for an indefinite period of time.

Prince of Winter Brainstorm & Notes

Prince of Winter
Premise: Humanity can be cruel; crueler even than the most violent of gods. When the Dursley family abandoned their nephew to die in the frozen wastes of the north, they unwittingly allowed him to reach heights that they could never imagine, and which a certain old man certainly won’t be prepared for.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be abandoned in the frozen wastes of a northern European country of the author’s choice by the Dursley family.
- Since the Norns don’t take kindly to having their plans unraveled by mere mortals, they will arrange for Harry to be found by Skadi, the Norse goddess of winter & the hunt.
- Skadi must come to care for Harry as though he were her own son, despite being somewhat gruff and anti-social, leading to her decision to share some of her powers with the boy.
- As a result of this decision, Harry will be considered a Norse demigod with the typical powers of a Jotnar, including high magic resistance and a strong affinity for ice magic.
- Skadi must teach Harry everything he needs to know in order to survive and even thrive in the wildlands known as the Arctic Tundra, with Harry doing what he can to make his mother proud.
- Skadi must track down Amora the Enchantress when Harry begins manifesting the powers of a Seidhr, with the latter woman currently living the life of Anastasia Greengrass.
- Being the doting mother of Daphne and Astoria Greengrass must actually be a good thing for Amora, since it allows her to take a few steps back from her obsession with Thor.
- Their encounter with the Greengrass family must be the first time that Skadi and Harry learn about Voldemort’s assault on Godric’s Hollow and the latter’s fame.
- Harry’s primary romantic pairing for this scenario must be Daphne Greengrass, who like him, will be a Demigod. Other girls are permissible if they have Daphne’s approval.
- Skadi must eventually send Harry out into the world to make a name for himself, while also promising that he will always be welcome to share the warmth of her hearth.
- Unfortunately, since Harry didn’t go through the crucible of his canonical counterpart’s childhood, the Norns will make Voldemort far more proactive than he was in the novels.
- While Dumbledore will doubtlessly organize a search effort for Harry when the wards surrounding Privet Drive fail, he will be unable to locate the boy since Harry isn’t in England.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Skadi’s blood adoption / Blessing should destroy the Horcrux in Harry’s scar and turn the boy’s hair as pure white as unblemished snow.
- Harry should initially be reluctant to attend Hogwarts, only to finally be convinced to attend the school by Daphne. It is up to the author how she accomplishes this wonder.
- Harry should be rather gruff and dismissive of just about everyone who is not part of his immediate family and small circle of friends.
- Building on the last preference, Harry should have little to no tolerance for people who simply can’t leave him to live in peace (i.e. Severus Snape, Draco Malfoy and Ron Weasley).
- Harry should be trained in how to fight using a variety of weapons, but most notably the Jotnar sword-axe and spears, since both are traditional weapons of Frost Giants.
- If Harry has a permanent weapon, then it should serve double duty as a martial implement and a spell focus when it comes to his magical abilities.
Optional Inclusions:
- For all that he was raised by a woman, Harry could still be rather clueless when it comes to romantic matters, which will undoubtedly frustrate Daphne quite a lot.
- Harry could eventually find, or be awarded, an Asgardian Sword of the author’s choosing after successfully completing a mission on behalf of the All-Father or another Asgardian Noble.
- Odin could send Thor and the Warriors Three to Midgard in order to retrieve Skadi after she repeatedly ignores a summons to a yearly festival of the author’s choosing.
Forbidden Things:
- Daphne or Astoria being afflicted with the Blood Malediction.
- Harry following Dumbledore’s orders like a “good little boy.”
- Harry being foolish enough to defy Odin’s orders.

No Place Like Home Brainstorm & Notes

No Place Like Home
Premise: Harry had thought his adventures would be over once he defeated the Dark Lord Voldemort, but it seems that the Powers That Be might actually have other plans in store for the young hero. Plans which seem to include rescuing a young girl whose future could be horribly similar to his past.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must find himself being propelled into an alternate reality at some point after the conclusion of his war with You-Know-Who.
- Harry must have no means by which to return to his original world since he’ll have no idea what caused his translocation to begin with.
- In spite of this, he must do the smart thing and avoid making any major waves until after he’s figured out where he is and found a means by which to support himself.
- However, he must promptly set about locating the Child-Who-Lived and making their life far easier than his ever was once he has accomplished those first two tasks.
- Harry must discover that the Child-Who-Lived was placed with the Dursley family, and quickly realize that since his counterpart is a girl, that she’ll be in far greater danger than he ever was.
- Another thing which will be different in this reality is that Bellatrix Black will still be unmarried and will also be the youngest of the three Black sisters.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Magical Humans should make it through puberty far faster than Mundane Humans, meaning that an eleven year old Witch will usually look like a thirteen year old Muggle.
- Harry’s primary romantic interest should be Bellatrix Black, while his counterpart should have Draco Malfoy as her eventual romantic interest.
- While Harry will be unable to defeat Voldemort on his counterpart’s behalf, that doesn’t mean he will be unable to clear the path for her eventual victory over her archenemy.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry’s female counterpart could allow herself to be sorted into Slytherin House, thanks to a positive impression of the house given to her by the Sisters Black.
- Harry could also end up attracting the romantic attention of Fleur Delacour or Tonks.
