Re: Tales from the Trails (Soulbound) - (Full)
I'm ready to go.
Went back to Maryland to visit my folks; much easier time getting back to Pittsburgh than going down
(AMTRAK cancelled my ticket twice because of that winter storm; but, then again, high temp of -7
doesn't happen all that often in PA,)

Is the two-pronged approach a bad idea? Too complicated?

Complicated? No, just be clear how you plan to get around to a different part of the map and make appropriate rolls for me, keeping in mind, the corner I set you guys in is the closest to the portal, so entering from another angle is going to be more difficult since you have to sneak over more ground.

If any of you haven't seen it, Moira proposed a 'stealth' group go North, hugging the building, past the tree, using the cart near her as cover to approach, then the other, obvious group, go East then North to keep her attention. That way only one group at a time gets fireballed.

Which could be beneficial, yeah.
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

Worth noting, there are broken down walls you can go inside those buildings as well, but there's so much rubble any indoor tile will be difficult terrain.
Also, I don't know if I mentioned before, those damp cloaks will provide protection from flames in the way of giving the attacking effect disadvantage on any Elemental damage dice. After providing this effect three times, it will have lost too much water to provide that protection any more.
If you can get back to the water barrel and spend a 0AT Action to douse the cloak, you can refresh that.

Did the roofs look like they could support weight? Asking for no reason whatsoever.

They're pretty solid overall.

Oop, seems I thought that was a question towards my own game.

Oh, I forgot, Moira's levitating. Would that change things?Gunmetal_Rainbow wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 7:43 pmIt would be very risky. They are clearly structurally unsound and you could easily fall through a weak spot if you tried to climb around up there.

Yes. Yes it would. She would be in no danger of collapsing the roof for one. I think she can ignore difficult terrain inside the buildings as well.

I need stealth rolls from everyone, and I need to know where you want to sneak out to, including the path you take please (you should be able to draw a line in roll20 to indicate the path you take)

I'm still waiting on people to move their tokens on Roll20. And please remember to draw the path your character takes to get there.
