Grigor "Dog" Geddings
AT: 6 Wounds: 5/5

Ducking, Dog pulls his flintlock and fires at the giant Boro-Boro as it leaps over him.

With a flex of his magical energies, he twirled the flintlock in his finger. The gun reloaded itself and he brought it back up again, his thumb pulling back the hammer.

As the battle reaches its climax, many things happen all quickly. Lloyd swings his weapon around in a wide arc, striking all three deceivers solidly. One swing, and two, but putting none of the resilient monsters down, though as a parting gift for the mounted deceiver, Lloyd parts with slice from his off-hand weapon, opening a vein and putting the creature down as he glides to safty, his weapon left behind to pin the other smaller boro-boro to the ground, dropping it from the air.

While Sashura and Moira reposition in anticipation of Ericka's explosive, Dog, who is already a safe distance away, takes a quick shot with his flintlock, dealing a telling blow to the large Boro-boro before Tectus detonates, engulfing the three monsters (and the two haunts that snuck into existence from Moira's spell) in a fireball of terrifying destruction that also burns away some of the local fog. As the smoke clears and the weilders prepare to engage once again, they see all three boro-boros have ceased moving, with Heartwood looking a little charred, but not too worse for the wear.

Willow brings the wagon up once it seems the danger has passed, the merchants otherwise keeping back a ways, more wary at this time. "Helluva job weilders! Knew ya wouldn't be needin' my help, didn't doubt ya for a second." she smiles broadly, clearly impressed with your display.

Lloyd will only nod at the senior hunter's words. He'll retrieve Heartwood and examine their horse. Did it survive the encounter? and while not opening any of their cargo, he'll take a peek at the contents of any spilled or broken containers to see if something might have attracted the deceivers in particular.

The horse is spooked something fierce, but physically unharmed. Nothing about the cart's contents, from what Lloyd can see on a cursory look over, would have drawn deceivers any more than the humans piloting it.

Lady Moira Sterling
Moira AT: 2
Bearrage AT (prime): 5
Raptage AT: 5

Lady Moira straightened her coat to look more presentable. A few whispered commands sent Raptage (for as long as he lasts) to circle high and cry out if he sees more danger. She also sent Bearrage farther away so as not to spook either the horse or the rescuees.

She looks to see how damaged the wagon might be.
She then goes to greet the three travelers. She doesn't make a big deal about there being an inch of space between her feet and the stone of the bridge and greets them warmly. "Hello, I'm Moira of House Sterling. We have Healers if anyone's hurt." she gestures back to Sashura and Erika.

Raptage unfortunately still has to contend with the fog, making it difficult to scout. The wagon has suffered significant damage, yet somehow miraculously, the axel is undamaged and wheels are intact. Moira assesses that once tipped back onto its wheels, the wagon should be able to make it back to Sepulcur, should the horse be calmed enough to draw it.

The merchants don't seem to notice Moira's levitating and shake their heads. "N-no ma'am. The deceiver took us by surprise, but the initial attack tipped the cart and we were able to get behind it. Damn near went sailing over the edge, but we're all Hale and whole thanks to you lot."

Sashura Vlasova
Sharpness of Chelydra : 2 left
Auto-Buckler : 4 uses left
Pheromone Dispenser : 1 empty and 1 full vial in device

Sashura looked around a bit - once all the smoke from Tectus' explosion cleared away. It seemed all the travelers got through Moira's gate. Leaving nothing but a cart and a very spooked horse over here.

She noted the three Deceiver bodies; there could be a small fortune in parts if they can harvest them properly.

The Boro-boro was just trying to feed its chicks. Its actions were understandable, but since they EAT PEOPLE, taking them out was a good thing.

The horse is successfully calmed. While the straps used to hook the cart to the horse are damaged (tieing them together would be sufficient repair to get the cart back to Sepulcur) and may have caused some bruises in the initial boro-boro attack, the horse doesn't seem to have suffered to any point to impede it's ability to walk.

"Well, I took a look at your cart. It's still serviceable, we just need to get it righted." Moira says. She lets out a whistle and Bearrage trundles over to the cart to bring his ursine bulk to bear and try to tip it back on it's wheels.
strength: 9D6 = [5, 3, 2, 5, 5, 2, 5, 2, 1] = 30
I extrapolate a Strength of 9 based off his attack, but even discounting the last two dice its 4 successes.

The cart tips back onto its wheels with a heavy bang, but fortunately causes no additional damage to the vehicle itself. It's definitely not fit for a long travel, but it could make it the few miles back to town with some minor repairs on the horse tackle straps so the horse can pull it.

Even the supplies and goods that spilled off the cart are in reasonable condition with little loss. As the merchants go about collecting up their spilled goods and belongings into the cart, they fill a small crate with some items. "Here. Please accept these as our thanks. We don't have a lot to offer, but I hope it conveys our gratitude, wielders." the elder merchant says.

Inside the crate is a silver bar, three packets of clotmoss, a bottle of wine (a reasonably good vintage for anyone with a knowledge for such things. Not high table stuff, but far from the cheap stuff either), parts for an integrated lantern upgrade, a leather long coat and a rather nice outfit of clothing that looks like it may suit a member of Qray Ralim aristocrasy. It does seem like an eccletic mix of things, but all good quality.

Lloyd gives thumbs up to Sashura as the horse is placated. He produces a piece of apple for it and will start the process of reafixing a makeshift harness or tether.

He'll look over the crate contents with a grunt. "Dog, you were first in battle, and do not yet wear coat. How bout you take leather coat?" He suggests. "And lantern would call attention to bearer. Perhaps Sashura would be our beacon?"

He does not seem to have an opinion on the disposition of any of the other items.

Grigor "Dog" Geddings

Dog was pretty sure the sky was very pretty right now.

He wasn't able to see it from where he was laying on the bridge, but he was pretty sure it was pretty, and it was going to be his excuse for why he wasn't getting up. He wasn't sure if it was surprise or the explosion itself which knocked him over. But he was pretty sure that the sky was very pretty right now.

With a loud groan he got to his feet, shaking his head, and slowly he looked around for his dropped weapons before making his way over to the others.

As the others looked through the box Dog's eyes lighted on the wine and he couldn't help but lick his lips.

"Hmm? Oh well, I thought I was following you," Dog says with a little grunt of a laugh, "If nobody else wants it I'll take it."

He glanced back at the deciever, "You think any of the feathers are still in one piece? I think I'd like one for my hat."

"We can look around.
" Moira offers, to Dog's question.

She turns her attention back to the three traders. "Could we ask you report this to the Guild when you get to Sepulchur, please? As much detail as you can recall. They can decide what to do about potential future threats."

Moira would recommend the normies were allowed to get on their way, or at least distracted by their own things before breaking out their harvesting gear, but at earliest opportunity she'll start with the carving knife for the soft parts, then get assistance from one of the House of Battle members (or offer use of her Carving Bar) to get at the hard parts. (She'll also ask if their escort wished to Harvest hard parts.)

She'll request aid.
Anatomy: 10D6 = [4, 4, 5, 6, 2, 6, 4, 4, 4, 3] = 42
10D6 = [3, 1, 2, 3, 2, 6, 1, 6, 2, 6] = 32
10D6 = [1, 4, 2, 4, 2, 6, 6, 6, 2, 3] = 36
10D6 = [4, 5, 3, 2, 3, 1, 5, 1, 4, 4] = 32
10D6 = [3, 4, 4, 4, 2, 4, 4, 5, 2, 5] = 37

Moira got the 3 successes needed on 3 of the 5 rolls. If someone could roll 5 x 1d6 rolls, if the last two generate a success then we can harvest more soft parts.]

I'll wait to hear if Willow or someone else wants to try anatomy rolls for the hard parts. If Moira were to try to do it there'd be Usage rolls that might not go well.
