Too late for that now. I'd say that Viv has been compromised with the books, seeing her as the immediate threat probably put some kind of whammy on her. Hence the silence.

Right. So first things First, Amy is going to cordon the area and put her pokemon at key points. She's then going to suggest Adeleth call for re-inforcements? She's jumpy enough to do that I think and not care after.

Something along the lines of:
The girl nudges Viv and is alarmed at her lack of response. "Guys, Viv is out. Those books are done playing possum. Peekaboo, Alma, Ren, take a triangle around the car. Herr Meintz, please step away." Amy instructed the man. "Adeleth, while you're at it, call for back up. Serious back up. Curse-breakers included."

"Lilly, keep an eye on Herr Meinz and move him away from the car." Adeleth herself moves in another direction away from the car, insubstantially. When she hears back from the agency she puts in the request for backup exactly as Amy says.

I don't know why you repeated this. My post said nothing about Viv. We are just moving forward with isolating the car because something too scary to touch is inside it. If you think we aren't reacting properly, you need to tell the force sensitive types they are overselling the danger. Adeleth can only react to what Lilly and Amy said about the danger of the relics.

What response is Adeleth getting from the ministry?

How much external activity happened? We were talking about closing the plaza and calling in teams. But neo never said anything happened. Can we just let him leave without having to explain it all to various authorities?

If so, this scene is basically done.

Never let a poor roll get in the way of humor or a chance to have some fun. Role with it! :)

Although, in Amy's defense, she does have a valid meta-reason for her poor rolls. She doesn't want to deal with missing spleens or vital organs.

Someone being the face of the ministry is an issue. Neither Lilly nor Amy can be the face of the ministry for various reasons. And Adeleth would want nothing to do with the job. We really should address what we are going to do about losing Viv.

Lilly is OK with being the face of the Ministry if we need someone. Not good at it, but she could go for it! Or Viv could do it OOC. Which might be a better idea...

All right, I may be starting to crawl out of my hole- if I haven't jinxed myself just by saying that. Pending GM approval, I think I'm ready to give this another try.

Viv is likely sticking near the Weidners for the moment, and still seems VERY Distracted, as she has for the last day or so...
