It was originally an attempt at Neptunia, of Hyperdimension Neptunia fame. She's a PL7 Weapon Master who literally transforms to become a PL 10 badass. I mean it, Super Modo is exactly 45 PP, so strip that out and a fully functional PL7 can be yours.

The source of this one is the Atom Smasher build in DC Adventures. I liked the build and the core ideas behind it, so I made a 2e playable version. Meaning this is a conversion of a conversion. I purposefully didn't look at that book for this, and like hell I remember what he looked like there. So any similarities are unintentional. With that said, he's a PL 7.5 guy who can grow 30 feet tall and smack the bejeezus out of things. Dunno what else you want, really. He effectively has Speed 2, as well, with the bonus from Growth and auto-making the Athletics check to speed up. Neato.

Yeah, this is another I pulled out from the first builds and spruced up for the Strength Revolution Special Tactics Group Squad C, The Watchdogs. I really liked the song, and thought the base concept (a Gadgeteer who uses a special phone to hack his way through the world, collapsible baton and pistol at his side) was pretty neat. I don't know how well Communication works for replacing Datalink, as a lot of skills got folded into Technology and the whole Datalink mechanic is just gone. So yeah, this is also a build that leaned on a 2e power/mechanic that more or less doesn't exist in 3E.

You’re really doing a lot of enjoyable, interesting takes with the archetypes here. Not only exploring lesser known examples, but doing some fun variants on “standard” ones-who else would think of a color-controlling “cowled crimefighter”? Very cool.

Well, the way I see it anybody can learn the system and make the Justice League. The Avengers. The Teen Titans. The X-Men. The Justice Society. The Fantastic Four. This is literally what all versions of M&M exist to do, so no shade thrown from me. But I've never been the type of person who follows with what everyone else is doing, for that exact reason. If everyone is doing it, then it's been done and I don't see how I could possibly contribute anything new or interesting to me or the readers. So I just gotta be different, I guess. It's probably the ADHD. :sweat_smile:

Cool build for a "Matter-Eater"; much like a Color-Controller, people often forget how useful those abilities could be, especially if you assign the logically required secondary powers.

I think Fey-Touched was a template in Book of Magic? Otherwise just a reasonably generic Mystic Gadgeteer type. Really I got nothin'. Not a dud, but not exciting, either.

Here we have today's stopping point. A science guy, botanist by trade or whatever, decided to fight crime and grew himself a battlesuit and starting doing plant control stuff. Because apparently one can just do that. It's comics there's weirder violations of known science. It's also one of the reasons I say you can put anything in a battlesuit. There's a few more of those when we get to par two, so look forward to that.
