-Another son of Siva & Parvati, the famous Ganesa (does Carella just have an encyclopedia that gives all the names with no "SH" sounds?) is more peaceful than they or his brother, Skanda. He successfully predicted Earth losing its magic and then getting it back (but was off by a few centuries), and is apparently taking great interest in the After The Bomb Earth's mutant animals. He rides a giant Riding Rat (something he finds hilarious, as elephants hate rodents) and is a great fighter, but the book is like "Ganesa is not a powerful fighter" despite doing Rail Gun-tier damage and having a good number of attacks.

Thanks! Glad you like it! It's been a bit more fun than I anticipated (I was generally worried about the MASSIVE statblocks and skillsets, but they keep much of the list of Powers pretty well the same, and I skipped the Skills anyways). I'm actually thinking of going back through past books and including those Pantheons as well, since I now have a pretty good handle on the template.

-Hanuman helped Vishnu in the past (when Vishnu was his avatar "Rama"), and was rewarded with vast power. He is a spy, strategist, shock trooper and warrior- his greatest deed was destroying the castle of the Demon King, Ravana. Hanuman hasn't been seen in centuries, and the others are beginning to worry- Hanuman is actually trying to figure out what Brahma is doing, and this could lead to disaster. His power is incredible, putting him at the Zeus-tier.

-Kali is the legendary Goddess of Destruction, a six-armed fanged woman with black skin and an evil nature. She was once an aspect of Parvati- a transformation she went under to become better in battle. But Kali developed a life of her own, splitting off when Parvati fought a demon who could grow clones of himself from every drop of blood- Parvati drank the demon's blood to prevent this, which coalesced with her might as Kali and the strength of her presence, forming a separate being! Siva took Kali as an additional wife, much to Parvati's dismay. She was might without reason, but kept along by Brahma because she was so useful at killing demons. She now carries Demon-made weapons and uses Temporal Magic, but the Gods now regret turning a blind eye to her actions (like the cult of "Thugees" who slaughtered innocents in her name)... because when the Splugorth invaded, Kali TURNED AGAINST THEM, allying with the Splugorth! She now exists as the second in command of that entire branch, having slaughtered the one ahead of her. Having an ally this mighty (most Splugorth have fewer attacks, but average out to only slightly less durability) is a huge game-changer.

-This is another wild design by Ewell- detail upon detail, pointy fingers, crab-clawed headdress, and a massive sword with a blade coming from a demonic mouth, and dozens of organic-looking metal bits (including TINY ARMS) sticking out of it.

-Kali is another top-tier Hindu God, but is actually a bit less powerful than Siva or Skanda. Still highly powerful, she's about as strong as natural Splugorth, with 72,000 M.D.C. (though this is only a little above mid-tier for them).

-A hideous dwarf wearing an ultra-goofy helmet that makes him seem like the Mole Man swiped one of the New Gods' helmets, Kubera is the demonic "God of Greed". He started out as an enemy of the Vedic Pantheon, but when Brahma took over, Kubera switched sides, saying he'd been forced onto the demons' side by Indra's actions. Indra & Varuna protested, but Kubera was allowed "back in" to a pantheon. He was made a royal treasurer thanks to his ability with numbers... but switched sides to the Splugorth as soon as they invaded, stealing as much as he could carry.

-Kubera has extremely boring stats, unfortunately- standard-issue strong/durable God with no interesting powers.

-Yama looks RIDICULOUS, haha. Like Ewell just took someone's 1990s villain art and added his trademark complicated bits to the Mandatory Supervillainous Shoulerpads. Honestly with that, the cape and the damn "ponytail with sidelocks" this guy is just a Liefeld character with a more detail-oriented artist drawing him. Carella mentions that Yama used to be a benevolent Death God, leading mortals to the afterlife and defending against ghosts... but has now just become evil as hell for no reason. He rules part of Hades now, and is watching Rifts Earth (being interested since the Four Horsement showed up) to see what happens.

-Yama is as powerful as almost any Greek God, and is quite durable and has ALL THE MAGIC, plus tons of Psionics, so he's a real danger out there.

He keeps a low profile and attempts to find an opening. Vritra is pretty basic for this group, but can Summon Undead and destroy plant life, and has an insane number of Psionic powers.

-The Asuras are Indian Demons, taking up the role of "Evil Otherdimensional Enemies" in Hindu mythology. They all have in common a pathological hatred of mortals and a desire to spread pain and misery.

-Ravana is the King of all Rakshasas (naturally, Carella has mixed it up and spelled it "Raksashas"). He is said to be IMMENSELY powerful, and once captured the entire Divine Triad by attacking when Brahma's body was comatose and his spirit was elsewhere- the good Gods only freed themselves when Brahma & Hanuman teamed up to kill Ravana... who quickly returned anyways. He had sent his life force to another dimension at his moment of death, and so resurrected later when his loyal Rakshasas built him a new body.

-Ravana is almost as dangerous as claimed, but lacks just a bit of hitting power and has fewer attacks compared to Brahma, Vishnu & Siva- he still has nine attacks and +13 to hit, though. No cool weapons, but all Magic AND Psionics, which is crazy.

His spelling is weird throughout. I mean, the Internet wasn’t much of a thing in 1992, and he’s not a native English speaker, but he mixes up more than one important name like that. Of course it’s mostly the usual incompetent editors’ fault.
